We only had time to order an "Aspra" craft beer without being able to taste the food, but we can already see the potential of the place, given its fantastic location.

This trattoria was recommended to us for an authentic local meal. Located on a terrace with a magnificent view in a square not far from the entrance to the old town, it offers a wide selection of indoor and outdoor seating, both for lunch and dinner. The kitchen is open late to meet the needs of its clientele. The menu features traditional dishes, featuring quality local artisanal products. The service staff is attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, we only realized upon our return that we had paid twice for both coffee and dessert: an unpleasant surprise. After reporting the issue, the manager verified the error and refunded the amount incorrectly paid. Thank you!

An excellent place to eat well with a view of the Sabine landscape and glimpses of the town. Homemade, very tasty cuisine. The lady who served us was very kind and attentive. We will definitely be back to try other dishes. Highly recommended!

Wonderful location for a top-notch restaurant. A picturesque setting with a breathtaking sunset view. From aperitif to dinner, everything was perfect. Exceptional raw materials expertly used by Chef Agnese to create incredible dishes. Appetizers, first courses, and second courses are worthy of applause. Desserts are a delight. A well-stocked wine cellar and fast, friendly, professional, and welcoming staff. High marks with honors, a sensory experience at sunset.

Trattoria La Palazzina

02/05/2026: I had the pleasure of dining at La Palazzina restaurant in Rieti, and it was a truly special experience. The restaurant has a significant history, carried on by six generations of restaurant owners, and the passion is evident in every detail. The owner, Giuseppe Amici, was very kind and took me on a tour of the restaurant, showing me photos and documents that tell the story of his family, including during World War II. This story makes the place even more interesting and adds significant value to the experience. The welcome was wonderful: the waiters were polite, attentive, and always available. The restaurant is clean and welcoming, and I really enjoyed both the indoor dining room and the outdoor garden, where the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxed. The food is truly excellent: the cacio e pepe was delicious and perfectly balanced, and I loved the tortelli with ricotta, zucchini flowers, and anchovies—truly unique and flavorful. The bruschetta, with their signature olive oil, was also special. The mixed meats and the bruschetta with lard were also excellent: everything was prepared with great care. Finally, the wine I tasted was truly nectar. I highly recommend this experience to anyone seeking good food, tradition, and a genuine welcome in a quaint city like Rieti. I thank Giuseppe, Oxana, and Leonardo for their wonderful welcome. I will definitely be back.
16/04/2026: We came from Salerno for a judo competition and were referred by locals. Excellent location, excellent staff, excellent food, reasonable prices. I highly recommend it.
