We went on May 1st. Even though the place was full, they seated us around 2 pm. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Excellent food, generous portions, and reasonable prices. Highly recommended, especially for the view from outside.

Hidden gem in a very quiet, but tremendous small village which was once the acropolis of Praeneste. Locals only, cheap but great food (we had primi, secondi and desert) and very relaxed waiters. A place to come back to...

5 stars, all well deserved. This is a quaint location, and if you can sit near the windows, you can admire a view that stretches from the sea to the Alban Hills and all the way to the capital. The dishes offered are holiday classics; you won't find matriciana or cacio e pepe, but the fettuccine with ragù will make you forget all that. I recommend the grilled veal loin, but the mixed roast is equally as good. I skipped dessert, but I took advantage of the complimentary wine donuts. The service is attentive but discreet. If you're in a hurry, keep in mind that you shouldn't keep track of the clock, as express food takes time to prepare. Last but not least... the final bill was much less than you'd expect. Highly recommended.
