22/12/2025: The bar offers a set lunch menu, and the waiters are incredibly fast. From noon until after 2 p.m., the place is always packed, a clear sign that they do good food. I had made a reservation (on Friday for fish), but they suggested I come back later to be on the safe side, because, rightly, workers get priority. The wait was long. Let's hope it won't be like this next time.

12/10/2025: A wonderful experience. On a Sunday in October, we ate outside, served by friendly staff, and the food was delicious! From the perfectly cooked grilled meat to the exquisite fish entree. I highly recommend it.

17/02/2026: Beautiful and historic bar, kind and friendly staff, despite the numerous presences at the holy mass they managed very well in an organized way the people at the cash register and at the counter, we will return to eat or rest in the hotel definitely in the summer

16/02/2026: We were hosted with a group for a seminar. They were extremely kind, even offering a special welcome. The facility was warm, the meals excellent, and the bar staff were also very kind and helpful. Truly excellent hospitality, a truly special touch, combined with the precious and intimate setting of the Castelmonte Sanctuary.

01/01/2026: We ordered some pizzas given the holiday rush, contacted by phone for home delivery, they were almost punctual anyway excellent pizzas, quality of ingredients average in some cases even a little better than other pizzerias Adequate price highly recommended the rustic pizza.

08/12/2025: Stopped by for lunch. The pizza dough was very good, with plenty of ingredients. The owner was friendly. The place is in the historic center.

17/09/2025: The food was very delicious. The steak was medium, like ordered, which is not granted in Lignano! My octopus burger was something new, I really enjoyed it. The waiter was super nice and the ambience is very cozy. We're considering coming back for another round during our vacation. It seems like locals are visiting this restaurant as well, which is always a good sign.

29/10/2025: After searching for several restaurants in the area that were still open for lunch, we found this osteria while passing through. They were very helpful and accommodated our every request. The food and service were excellent. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good place to eat and order traditional food, especially the ravioli!

10/10/2025: Very delicious food. We had pizza, pasta, gnocchi, and tiramisu. The ambiance was simple, practical, and functional. Nevertheless, it was perfectly fine and clean. We enjoyed it and would gladly come back.

10/01/2026: Excellent food; quiet and welcoming atmosphere. Tables were quickly set up, even without a reservation; they welcomed children and dogs without a problem.

04/01/2026: Excellent restaurant, also open in winter, with generous and tasty dishes and super friendly staff. We'll definitely be back!

11/04/2025: The dinner was definitely good, but a friend asked for a cut of meat and they didn't have it. My friend and I both wanted a fish dish, and in the end we had to toss because they only had one. I had meatballs, which weren't bad, but to call them salty was an understatement. The wine by the glass was limited. Everything was well presented, but I don't think we'll be back.

02/03/2025: Before leaving for Italy, I was looking for a restaurant where I could eat local food. I can't stand "touristy" food. The restaurant was recommended to me at the Da Sisi Hotel, where I was staying. Tired after traveling 1,000 km, I wondered if I'd even be able to eat anything. At the entrance, I was greeted by a waitress. I guess I didn't look like a fan of Italian cuisine, because after presenting the set menu for that evening, based on local traditions, she suggested they could prepare something different. Of course, I happily ordered the local set menu. The food was exceptionally delicious, and the service was friendly and patient—the waitress explained each dish. The restaurant is worth recommending, because I would have to try hard to find a flaw. My culinary dream has come true. Thank you very much, I will definitely visit you on my next visit.

07/03/2026: We've enjoyed good coffee and delicious wine spritzers here many times, depending on the time of day. We've also savored the excellent pizzas at the pizzeria. And we even spent the night here in our campervan, in the parking lot right on the border between Italy and Austria.

03/01/2026: The food and beer were some of the best we've had in Friuli. Unfortunately, the atmosphere could be better because the lights are too bright and sometimes it feels like you're at the Fiera. The service is 5 out of 5, although I only had to deal with a guy who was in a hurry to take away my plate while it was still half full... (first he put his hand on the plate and then asked if he could take it away), but in my opinion, it's still a well-deserved 5 stars. My only suggestion is to dim the lights and make the atmosphere warmer; it would make it more comfortable and less "in the spotlight." Overall, 5 stars are well-deserved!
