Good food/price ratio. Hands-on environment. Not very tasty food, nothing bad of course but a place without infamy and without glory. I expected much better given the reviews

Homemade and easy-going, typical of the area

Traditional restaurant in the Trieste Karst, genuine food, "once upon a time" cuisine. You are hungry? Then stop here, especially if you pay attention to substance and not appearances. The first ones are good. However, I recommend the steak with pancetta, parmesan flakes and rocket: extraordinary for its softness and flavour, perfectly cooked, just a hair over "rare". You won't regret it, it's worth the visit (and you'll want to come back to eat it). Excellent quality-price relation. Fast and efficient service.

12 euro un piatto di gnocchi col goulash, giusto, buono, ma sai gnocchi e 'ssai poco goulash. Comunque da apprezzare il menù tipico.

Trattoria tipica del carso triestino, a soli pochi passi dal comprensorio di Lipica, famoso per i suoi allevamenti dei cavalli bianchi lipizzani. Un menù di terra figlio della tradizione locale, ben eseguito e servito nei giusti tempi vi accoglierà in un ambiente informale. Forse il servizio è un po' troppo sbrigativo, ma efficiente. Servizi igienici puliti e comodi anche agli anziani. Conto finale onesto, senza esagerazioni di sorta. Consigliata la prenotazione per evitare un viaggio a vuoto dalla città di Trieste che dista circa 15 Km.
