We ate at Gelmo's, and despite it being a Sunday, the tables were packed with diners, the service was very fast, and the staff were warm and welcoming. The gnocchi with goulash were amazing (we later learned that the goulash was made by a chef from Coloncovez 😜). As for the meat, you're spoiled for choice. Everything is grilled, so you can see it being prepared. The cooking is perfect, and the quality is excellent! Well done, well done, well done!

03/05/2026: It's a very cozy restaurant, close to the beach. The pizza is divine and the prosecco is ice cold, just as it should be. The waiter is nice and smiling.
02/05/2026: Halfway from Serbia to Zurich, we stopped by for a nice view, saw pizza on plates, ordered and were delighted! Service was great, pizza was even better! Worth every minute of the break!

04/05/2026: Excellent for a sandwich and/or Trieste specialties (cauldron). So far, I've always had quick options, and they're always very good. Margherita is always very kind and helpful, and her smile adds to the quality of the food.
