21/02/2026: The hotel has a beautiful view of the mountains. The owner is very hospitable and kind. Breakfast had a wide selection, and the cold meats and cheeses were of very good quality, made from local produce. The hotel and rooms are very clean, with daily housekeeping. There is ample parking for guests directly below the hotel. We highly recommend it!

21/02/2026: A hotel with an incredible Alpine vibe. The Italian owner is very friendly and helpful, and makes excellent coffee. The views from the hotel and town perfectly capture the beauty of the Dolomites. The rooms were cleaned daily, and cleanliness was meticulously maintained. The hotel isn't a typical commercial hotel with a swimming pool, etc., but rather a cozy guesthouse for people who want to experience life in the Italian mountains. Perhaps if I were to nitpick, I could find some drawbacks. But if someone wanted to go to a spa, they would choose a larger resort and miss out on the experience of living in a small Alpine town. With all my heart and conscience, I can recommend this bed and breakfast.

23/03/2026: Maybe it was a bad night, Monday, but at 8:45 pm there was nothing interesting to eat: meatballs, fried eggplant, and sardine crostini. There were plenty of people... tipsy... sociable, but perhaps too much so.

27/01/2026: It was a wonderful day with 10 young friends... Organized specifically to meet at the restaurant on Sunday for lunch, where we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and had a great time. We found exactly what we were looking for. Kudos to the owners, Signora Teodora's cuisine is a must-try... simple and traditional dishes, but full of passion and flavor. Signor Ferdinando is an experience not to be missed; he is the soul of the place, a sincere and kind person who makes you feel at home. It's fair to say that the place isn't for everyone... it certainly leaves no room for hypocrisy, but tells and brings to life a piece of history that has left its mark. Congratulations again and always onward!

06/03/2026: The staff were very friendly and helpful, and Mrs. Linda was extremely professional and courteous. Quality food and generous portions. Fresh fish, and the hot and cold appetizers were excellent.

09/03/2026: Wide selection of food. Personally, I found the music and TV volume a little too loud. You can talk to those next to you, but if there are people sitting right after you, you can't hear what they're saying. The staff, however, were very kind and attentive.

01/03/2026: Finally, after years, my family and I were able to go this evening, March 1, 2026. I couldn't have made a better choice! A beautiful place, with attention to every detail. It makes you feel at home right away. We were welcomed by Axel and Stefania, excellent hosts. We had a light but tasty Margherita pizza. My husband had the Gammon burger, perfectly presented with the egg intact. WELL DONE! I had a "spectacular" Carolina burger, whose flavor and taste reminded me of when I was little and went to a local sandwich shop with my parents... and I'm talking about 35 years ago😅... My daughter had a hot dog on super soft milk bread. Not content with that, we had the homemade lotus cheesecake ❤️ delicious! The staff is young and everyone was kind, polite, and competent. 04/03/2026: I've been to this restaurant several times over the years, so my opinion isn't based on a single experience, but on multiple visits. The restaurant looks good: the ambiance is well-kept and pleasant, with furnishings that create a pleasant atmosphere. Nothing exceptional, but certainly pleasant. Unfortunately, however, the quality of the cuisine doesn't live up to the image the restaurant wants to convey, nor does it live up to the prices, which are high for the quality offered. On several occasions, I've found dishes to be too salty, excessively greasy, or with a general lack of balance in flavors. On one occasion, I was served raw fish that hadn't been cleaned thoroughly or that wasn't suitable for being served raw. The composition of some dishes also seemed sloppy and inadequate for either the price or the quality the restaurant seems to be promoting. Furthermore, the portions of the main courses have sometimes been truly small: in some cases, literally just a few bites. The service, while not the most critical aspect, doesn't help justify the overall cost of the experience. Even details like the amount of wine served by the glass seemed rather limited. In short, I have the feeling that the restaurant wants to present itself as a premium establishment, but that in reality it fails to live up to its standards, especially considering the prices. A disappointment, especially since it has matured over time and been confirmed by multiple experiences.

28/02/2026: The food is ok, but everything happens so quickly that the atmosphere is a bit tense and although the staff is friendly, it feels like you're at a fast food joint. You come, you eat, you leave.

22/02/2026: As a Caserta native, I can say I appreciated the dough, the toppings, and the homely flavor of this pizza. It almost brought a tear to my eye. A rare pearl in a city that can be sad like Trieste. Congratulations guys, and the free zeppoline with takeaway are a touch of class and added heart. Really good.

24/02/2026: I had the grilled sea bass fillets, they were disgusting, they came back for 2 days, I will never eat there again, moreover I had asked for grilled vegetables and they served me potatoes with spinach that were almost blended

12/11/2025: The atmosphere is typical and authentic Friulian trattoria, with a few dishes, but truly excellent. I was there a few weeks ago for a dinner with colleagues; there were about ten of us. I tried the dishes pictured, and everything was truly delicious. But I fell so in love with the tripe that I had to order a second helping. Highly recommended.

19/02/2026: We stopped by with the family by chance, the restaurant was full of workers so I thought the food would be simple but good, instead we ordered à la carte and we were pleasantly surprised, everything was excellent, even the elaborate dishes.

18/02/2026: The Al Boschetto restaurant is a guarantee of courtesy, professionalism, and top-quality products. And the best snails à la bourguignon are only available here in San Daniele del Friuli... Not to mention the crêpes flambe❤️ 🌹

30/12/2025: Excellent restaurant, you pay little and you eat a lot, friendly, smiling and attentive staff... I recommend taking 1 dish to share between 2 people because the portions are generous.

13/12/2025: How much can go wrong if you stay in business for decades? The portions are for two, so they're a bit more expensive plus the cover charge, but still quite affordable for two people. It's certainly not a high-end restaurant, but it's pretty solid/good.

12/10/2025: The hotel is conveniently located, practically halfway between Trieste and the nearest Slovenian towns, Izola and Piran. The property features a beautiful, spacious terrace offering stunning sea views and the beautiful sunsets. There's a lovely, large outdoor pool. Inside, there's a spacious breakfast room for a delicious sweet and savory breakfast. The rooms are furnished with slightly vintage but decent furniture, and have comfortable beds. The bathrooms are large, but the showers are a bit limited. The hotel has parking and is located in a very quiet area. The manager, Mirella, is very kind and hospitable. Overall, a highly recommended property.

13/01/2026: If you need good food at a fair price, this place is for you. They're also very friendly, quick, and honest. The place is also close to convenient parking. They're always busy, but they'll still accommodate you. When you're in the area, give it a try!
