25/05/2025: Good evening, I have been coming to this restaurant for years and it is truly a shame to write negative reviews because the environment and food are excellent but unfortunately the service is very very bad .. I do not mean by service the professionalism of the staff but the synchronization between the pizza department and the restaurant .. I ordered a plate of calamari and they arrived after a few minutes .... The pizza after over 30 minutes ... and to say that the place was not very crowded ... I'm sorry but in 2025 in a restaurant of this level that does not serve all the customers at the table at the same time is not professional at all. My criticism is not intended to be destructive but constructive, if the problem is the oven is too small, a pizza chef is missing, the problem is not ours, the customers who pay but yours who have to provide a service

02/03/2025: Non mi dilungo a ripetere quasi tutte le altre recensioni che ne parlano benissimo!! È' una realtà... questo posto ti fa davvero capire l'amore per il buon cibo e il buon vino! Personale gentilissimo, veloci bel servizio, noi abbiamo scelto la serie di antipasti che arrivano uno dopo l'altro e uno più buono dell'altro! Stra consigliato!!! Se potessi metterei 6 stelle... ma ce ne sono solo cinque!!! Complimenti

25/01/2025: Osteria incredibile. si poteva scegliere se mangiare alla carta o tutti assaggi. Abbiamo optato gli assaggi di carne. Tutto piccoli assaggi che sicuramente non ti fanno andare via a pancia vuota.

08/06/2025: A very cozy trattoria in a wonderful location right next to the lighthouse. From the outdoor dining area, you have a magnificent view of the sea! The seafood dishes (and all the others) are delicious, and the service is top-notch – very professional and (child-)friendly! Advance reservations (especially on weekends) are recommended, if only because of the somewhat remote location. Combine this culinary delight with a visit to the Lighthouse (at least from Friday to Sunday – the lighthouse is only open to visitors on these three days). It's definitely worth it: from the lighthouse (accessible via steps or elevator), you have a wonderful view of Trieste – and it's free!

08/06/2025: What a disappointment... The Tiramisu does not look like anything in the picture. It was barely half the portion and many layers missing. The drink I ordered had barely 0,2 l but cost 12€. I am willing to pay higher prices but if it is something special. In this was anything but tasty, creative or outstanding. When visiting the ugly bathrooms, I finally knew why I should have not picked this restaurant in the first place.

02/06/2025: This is a great place to eat or drink in Trieste, tables outside for comfortable summer dining or drinking, the service is good , and on this visit, the quality of the food was once again exceptional. My third visit, I really enjoy the experience.

01/06/2025: Great food, from the pizzeria to the restaurant. It's not the best pizza you'll ever eat, but it's a good pizza. Really great restaurant in my opinion! A bit outdated but still welcoming and warm.

03/06/2025: Towns off the SS13 thoroughfare in the Friuli tend to hide good restaurants not overwhelmed by tourists. Ristorante Al Tarcentino, located on the ground floor of the hotel of the same name is such a restaurant and is near the top of our list of restaurants to return to. The reasons are simple: a dedicated free parking area for guests, modern appointed, squeaky clean indoor seating area. The outdoor seating area is open when the weather allows. Sharp, polite service of the staff. An extensive selection of food on the menu, including pizza and this food is prepared to perfection. Reasonable bill. I am careful giving five point ratings, but Al Tarcentino deserves this rating. I am looking forward to my next visit in September.

20/05/2025: Cute little hotel in Tarcento. It is well situated close to the market (and on weekends Farmers market). They offer breakfast with enough options to please everyone. There is a restaurant onsite that is also very good.

29/03/2025: Prima della ristrutturazione era un posto ottimo dove poter gustare un gran pollo allo spiedo e non solo… non vi è rimasto nemmeno il ricordo. Se andate avanti così non arrivate a Natale… come si fa’ a rovinare qualcosa che funzionava da anni in sto modo…

10/02/2025: Polecam każdemu kogo złapał głód wracając do kraju spróbować kurczaka z prawdziwego grilla w rozmarynie. Pracując jako kierowca minimum raz w tygodniu odwiedzałem to miejsce i nigdy się nie zawiodłem.Dla osób oczekujących porcelanowej zastawy proponuję jechać dalej do Austrii bo tutaj tego nie znajdziecie. Smak i klimat tego miejsca jest dla wielu wielkim doświadczeniem kulinarnym jak i wspomnieniem lat 90.
