18/09/2025: Great place to stay and visit Trieste, Udine, Cividale, or travel further to Slovenia. Lucca and Paul are great hosts that immeriately make you feel at home. Pauls humor is unforgettable. So is the big pergola in front of the building, the biggest in Italy, Europe or even the world! While having breakfast or dinner under it, you have a wonderful view! This Agriturismo is a unique experience.
28/08/2025: This was our first time in Friuli and we were looking forward to the landscape, the towns, the food, the wine, the mountains, and the sea. While searching for a personally run agriturismo, we came across the friendly reviews of La Faula and felt completely at home there! Luca and Paul have created a very special place, with plenty of space for retreat and peace, as well as for meeting people and sharing their humanity. Thank you for your hospitality, the lovely breakfast, and the delicious dinner! We had a wonderful stay!

The staff is friendly, smiling, and knowledgeable.
A perfect location for business or romantic dinners, for events or ceremonies of any kind, even for a simple aperitif with friends.

15/05/2026: The restaurant's almost glamorous feel is tempered by vernacular touches in its furnishings and architectural features. It's a large space, suitable for large groups, but it's also possible to reserve a private, quiet area. The pizzeria is connected to the Cial de Brenta restaurant, and customers receive two menus: the pizzeria menu and the restaurant menu. The service is impeccable, and the staff is friendly and prompt. But if you're looking for a good pizza, you've come to the wrong place: there's no respect for authentic Neapolitan pizza protocol. The pizza is served as a hard, overcooked, and flat crust. There's some doubt about the dough's rising times.

The traditional dishes are well-prepared and generously portioned.

10/06/2026: A beautiful location, it lets you experience the true essence of Friuli. The only pro, or con, depending on your preference, is the presence of a very special guest, a cicada, who will accompany you with his songs throughout the dinner (the cicada, of course, lives in its own little house).
17/05/2026: A lovingly decorated trattoria, frequented mainly by locals, where everything feels very homely. The owner is very welcoming and polite and takes excellent care of her guests.

04/05/2026: We stopped by on Sunday for lunch, having made a reservation. The road to get there is very narrow, and parking is difficult to find. The restaurant has remained unchanged since our last visit. The service is very good, with knowledgeable staff who can offer advice. The quality of the fish is excellent, but in my humble opinion, it's a bit pricey. You can expect to spend between €50 and €80. But it's in proportion to what you get.

A very well-maintained, welcoming place, with a refined, yet unobtrusive, menu. Unique and well-chosen combinations of ingredients. Research and attention to detail...Very positive.

02/05/2026: I've ordered delivery a couple of times now, and it always arrives on time, or even earlier. The staff are friendly, and the pizzas are good and lighter than other pizza doughs. The prices are also average, if not a little less expensive than other places. Top!
04/04/2026: We ate there twice during our stay in Trieste, which is very unusual for us – but we simply loved it and the food was delicious!
The food is truly FANTASTIC (you absolutely must try the Pasta de Vino Rosso!), the staff is very friendly, and the atmosphere is lovely. And last but not least, it's very child-friendly :) We'll definitely be back on our next trip to Trieste!
