Ristorante Alla Vecchia Finanza In Lignano sabbiadoro

Brand new, effervescent management, very suggestive location!

I've been going to this restaurant for years, and it's always been a go-to for family dinners. Unfortunately, this year, with the change in management, it no longer lived up to my expectations. I ordered some fried fish, and the modest portions (three shrimp) arrived after about half an hour (quite a long time for fried fish) and were served on typical street food paper towels. The menu had a limited selection, and most importantly, desserts and side dishes were missing, along with their prices. The restrooms were not clean, smelly, and lacked toilet paper. At the cashier, we weren't given a detailed receipt for the dinner, just the payment receipt. Finally, upon exiting the restaurant, in front of the bar, there was partially consumed food left on the tables, as well as very messy areas, such as the storage room, left in plain sight. It's a real shame, but I hope it can improve.

A charming and peaceful place, with discreet and friendly staff. The quiet on the river.

By paying a few euros more (for goodness sake, a little goes a long way) you improve from every point of view.

We come here every time we're in Lignano. Unfortunately, it wasn't open this time (May 27, 2026) at lunchtime. Nice atmosphere. With a view of the Tagliamento. We usually have a coffee and a beer here.

Friendly service, good food and a great atmosphere

The owner and staff were all friendly. The dinner was excellent. The dishes were plentiful and of excellent quality. The wines matched the dishes. The atmosphere was intimate and welcoming. I will definitely be back.

The atmosphere is welcoming and elegant, perfect for both a romantic dinner and an evening with friends. The service is impeccable! The staff is attentive, courteous, and always available to recommend the best dishes.
