26/05/2025: We had a wine tasting of the good Bastianich on the day of the open cellars. Excellent food, the wines a spectacle and the staff really welcoming and always smiling. The place must also be said that it is really very beautiful and characteristic, with an open kitchen and also outside in the greenery which is very relaxing. Well done!!

02/06/2025: Il y a à Lignano des restaurants (comme par exemple Agosti) et des cantines ( comme par ex. Croce del sud). Donc choisissez la qualité et le service plutôt que de poireauter 1/2 h pour manger des moules !

31/05/2025: Para empezar pedí un tártaro de atún y poco antes de terminar noté algo muy pequeño arrastrándose en mi plato. Y cuando miré más de cerca lo que era, vi un gusano vivo en mi plato. Cuando se lo dijimos a la camarera al principio ni siquiera lo vio, pero después de que se lo dijimos (creo que todavía no sabía lo que queríamos decir) dijo que se lo llevará al chef y se lo preguntará. Cuando regresó nos dijo que era de la flor y ni siquiera dio una disculpa. Escribo esto porque mi madre ya hizo un reviev en google y me respondieron que era un pistilo violeta. Creo que es indignante e incapaz. Y la comida de los cuatro sabía a nada y mi carbonara de espagueti era una sopa de aceite.

30/05/2025: Delicious pizza! We arrived early, so the restaurant was almost empty at first. But the personnel created us a joyful atmosphere. We also enjoyed the stylish and modern interior design. Absolutely worth a second visit, if/when we come to this lovely part of Italy again.

20/05/2025: To say the least… AMAZING. Friulian cuisine and more, excellent wine cellar. A very respectable tavern with honest prices in the center of Udine.

18/05/2025: Osteria Grappolo d'Oro is located in the very center of Udine. The place has - in the true sense of the word - an authentic, unconstructed retro atmosphere. It consists of an internal room, with spartan furnishings, and a patio that, in the summer, is really pleasant. If you are in the right mood and concentrate, you can think of having taken a step back in time. Let's get to the interesting things, counter and table. At the counter the offer of tastings, canapés and fried foods is truly complete: next to the inevitable Ascoli olives you will find exquisite things such as canapés with mixed cold cuts, meatballs, calamari and more. The fried foods are not at all heavy and, really, one leads to another: excellent for a well "reinforced" aperitif! At the table you eat well, very well: the menu is varied and characterized by simple dishes such as cod, goulash, baked potatoes, tuna steak, gnocchi in various shapes, soups...; the portions will surprise you with their generosity. Personally I recommend my combination from yesterday: pasta with trout and pepper ragù (vote ten) and tuna steak (vote ten +), with baked potatoes as a side dish. My wife had the goulash with polenta, vote ten for this last one too. To accompany everything, ask for the "di Riccardo" beer, on tap, and you won't go wrong! Bon appétit!

27/04/2025: Good place for great pizza! Despite the huge crowd, the staff quickly found a place for the 6 of us. The pizzas were delicious. Margherita, mortadella and pesto, stuffed and capricciosa. The children were delighted with the pizza and the lollipop at the end of the meal, and we adults, in addition to the pizzas and the service, enjoyed the dessert (tiramisu) and the tasting of different types of liqueurs on the house. We will be back. I recommend it!

28/04/2025: Enchanting place surrounded by nature. All products are 0 km and you can feel it. Everything is excellent, from cured meats and cheeses to pickles. Delicious eggs, not to mention the ricotta cake. Top! The prices are very low. The girl who serves the tables and at the counter is kind, helpful and smiling. Go there!

22/04/2025: Super Easter Monday. Cheese and super dessert platters. Lots of horses and greenery around. Beautiful experience.

20/04/2025: I have been to this place several times and have always had a good time. Today Easter 25th I repeated the experience and the opinion is always excellent. I took the angus millefeuille and the meat was very tender, a real delight. The friendly and competent staff. I definitely recommend.

19/05/2025: Excellent location, panoramic view, excellent service, special and interesting dishes. Adequate price, shame about the desserts that although excellent, seemed excessively expensive to me. I only used the restaurant service, I did not test the hotel service. In any case, a recommended place.

11/05/2025: Consigliato da un’amico siamo stati in questo ristorante da pochissimo con una nuova gestione, posto fantastico con una terrazza tra i vigneti da dove nelle giornate limpide si scorge il mare, locale super curato personale preparato e gentile, ricerca della materia prima proposta in maniera sapiente ed anche azzardata, il tutto con il giusto prezzo veramente complimenti un posto da tenere a mente .

14/06/2025: Although the owner was welcoming and friendly, the portions of the main courses were miserable and the dishes arrived within a couple of minutes suggesting that they were reheated on the spot. Roast beef was not of the best quality. In addition, the food was excessively salty as was the bill, given the rather ridiculous portions. We finished eating within 5 minutes. Premise: there is no menu so it is not possible to consult the price list. Super disappointing!

21/05/2025: There is no price list / menu, so you don't know the price of the dish. We ate a first course that was very poor in quantity and mediocre in taste, water and coffee, paid a lot😱

31/05/2025: This was a nice surprise! We went with another couple-ordered an anti pasti for 4, (VERY LARGE we could have gotten away with 2) the goulash with polenta, and “big” gnocchi with pancetta. All was good! Service was really good and friendly. The vibe was rustic Italian. We will be back!

02/06/2025: We just finished our weekend at Rifugio Fornàs and we already miss it! It was a wonderful 2 days thanks to Anna and her husband (an excellent chef!), who with their kindness and hospitality made everything special. For those who love walking in the woods, following Anna's advice, you can take routes that are accessible to everyone, but that amaze with breathtaking landscapes. Do we recommend it? Absolutely! 01/06/2025: I had dinner at the Rifugio with my family, we ate very well. It is immersed in nature and Anna and her husband are really great. A gem in Carnia

04/05/2025: It's been a while since I went.... I returned with my daughter, and I must say that it is truly a guarantee! The place is always beautiful and well kept, the welcome is always kind, helpful, with a smile and very polite. Good dishes, and fair portions. Also for takeaway. One thing I really like is that, in the middle of the room there is a booth where they hang all the customers' tickets that they leave on the tables, a beautiful gesture!

23/04/2025: After a year of trying other sushi, we came back and found our dear old Sakura again! The location is simply the best you can find in a sushi restaurant in Udine. Tranquility, style, originality and courteous staff guarantee an experience unlike any other. The sushi are of excellent quality and large in portion (the gunkan perhaps even too large!). We will definitely come back to enjoy your delicious rolls and the relaxing atmosphere of your place...
