13/11/2025: We used to come here often, but now we've changed our minds: the portions are once normal and once very small, we don't know why 🤷🏻‍♀️ You have to order three courses to be satisfied, no way!

27/10/2025: A very tasty place in the mountains! The grilled chickens are simply incredible: juicy, aromatic, with a real homemade taste. All the food is fresh and prepared with love. The atmosphere is cozy, there are beautiful views around, and the hosts are very friendly and sincere - you immediately feel that they are waiting for you here. We will definitely come back again and again! 🏔️🍗

22/10/2025: The place is nicer inside than outside, with a lovely dining room. Service is quick and friendly. The quality, quantity, and price are very good. Expect home-made flavors and tastes; it's truly home-cooked. I recommend the potato gnocchi (just like your mom or grandma made them). We'll be back!

27/10/2025: Spettacolare, literally stunning! Place is super welcoming, food is delicious!! And prices are totally ok, cheaper than other places in the area! We had the canederli and pasta with shrimps and pistacchio, both were perfectly cooked and full of flavour, especially the canederli, rich but not too heavy. Then we tried the Frico (local speciality) and this where we had the best so far. The service was great too, fast and accommodating. We will come back for sure

04/11/2025: Restaurant and pizzeria... rustic, very welcoming and clean atmosphere. The dishes are very good and carefully prepared. I've never had pizza there, but it looked very inviting. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

02/11/2025: We are happy to stop, not only for the Pizzas, I write this, because I enjoyed the slices of Roast Turkey, everything was good thank you, the Pizza we prefer the Pugliese, then with spicy oil excellent.

07/09/2025: I hadn't been there in a while. The staff were friendly, the wait time was average, and the food was delicious. The beef tartare was very good, and the gnocchi with goulash were equally delicate and tasty, and the meat was very tender. I'd gladly return; it was all enjoyable.

26/10/2025: Beautiful place, open grill, wonderful meat, delicious. We had a Florentine steak cooked perfectly, served with cast iron so if anyone wants they can cook it a little more. Excellent wine and grappa offered at the counter, very fair price. Thanks.

24/09/2025: I believe our server was the owner - he gave detailed descriptions of the menu in fluent French, Italian and English. He was very friendly. We ordered a local wine from Friuli-Venezia which was delicious and reasonably priced. I had the monk fish which was tougher than I’m used to for white fish but I suspect that is the local style. My husband got the pork cheeks which were amazing.

03/09/2025: We stopped thinking that in a trattoria there would be a menu at good prices and instead we found ourselves having to pay for an appetizer and a first course at 83.50...note that on the table there wasn't even a tablecloth...if I were to pass by again I certainly wouldn't stop a second time

28/08/2025: A true discovery in Marano! At JO Bistrot, every dish is a tribute to the sea. The seafood salad is incredibly fresh and fragrant, the mixed fried fish is light and crispy, and the grilled calamari with polenta is simply unforgettable. Sincere compliments to the chef, who manages to enhance every ingredient with passion and mastery. You can sense his love for cooking in every detail. The service is welcoming and attentive, the atmosphere warm and convivial. A restaurant that conquers the heart and the palate: I can't wait to return!

12/11/2025: For years, I've been greeted at odd hours upon my arrival from Genoa on Sundays or Mondays, often after 10 p.m.: you've always shown me availability and courtesy, always serving me exquisite dishes. I can't remember a single evening when I left with anything to complain about. I've tried practically the entire standard menu and, often, the daily special. My assessment isn't a single meal, but rather a regular and consistent visit over about six years.

04/10/2025: A charming mountain hut serving high-quality local products. The mountain views are simply breathtaking, and the journey is made even more special by the presence of cows and goats along the trail, making the arrival a unique experience.

13/09/2025: What a beautiful hut with such a view. Lots of children help out during the holidays, the food is fantastic, and the prices are fair! It's a lovely place to hike up from the pass or drive up by car.

20/09/2025: We went for lunch today and I highly recommend it!!! The Blecs with porcini mushrooms and venison with polenta were exceptional!!!! Very fair prices and the lady was very kind!!!! If we return to that area, we'll definitely be back!!!!
