Varies depending on the time of day.
In the evening, during aperitivo hours, interesting wine selections, modern appetizers, and savory snacks appear.
There's plenty of space at the back of the shop, which also allows for larger gatherings that can be arranged with the staff.
A pleasure at any time of day and in any season in Monfalcone. The area is busy but easily accessible.
The restrooms are clean and comfortable.
20/01/2026: We love this historic pastry shop in the center of Monfalcone.
The location is beautiful and the staff is truly friendly.
They have excellent products and a display case/refrigerator full of inviting and varied pastries that are always tempting.
The artisanal pizzas are delicious, made with sourdough and high-quality ingredients, and in my opinion, well tolerated even by those with gluten sensitivities.
As are the very tasty toasted sandwiches.
They have
an excellent selection of wines to accompany their delicacies.
In short, a place we recommend! ☺️

01/02/2026: There were seven of us at dinner, some of them had fried food (good), on the pizza menu there was only one with different doughs and I was forced to give it up, we had some gnocchi that were almost invisible on the plate

24/09/2025: I believe our server was the owner - he gave detailed descriptions of the menu in fluent French, Italian and English. He was very friendly. We ordered a local wine from Friuli-Venezia which was delicious and reasonably priced. I had the monk fish which was tougher than I’m used to for white fish but I suspect that is the local style. My husband got the pork cheeks which were amazing.

27/02/2026: The price was in line with other restaurants in Trieste, although the cover charge was quite high for not having tablecloths. The food was good and in sufficient quantity, and the service was courteous and helpful. The average cost for the two evenings was €33 per person, certainly expensive for the amount we ate.
27/02/2026: The best place I’ve visited in Trieste. The food was great, the portions were really big. The waiters were very friendly and attentive. Going to return here to try their pizza.

I've been to this grill restaurant a couple of times in Gorizia, and I must say it was a real pleasure! The meat is exquisite, cooked to perfection, and has a unique flavor. The waiters were incredibly hospitable and friendly, making me feel right at home. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing, with the grill in the center of the room a real treat.
P.S. The waiter is truly exceptional!
07/01/2026: I was invited for a wedding anniversary and we all had a really great time. The service was professional and very courteous, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend it.

26/11/2025: Nice, well-kept atmosphere, friendly and courteous staff, fried calamari a little too dry - perhaps they should have been taken out of the oil first - price a little above average.
23/11/2025: We arrived for lunch after calling to see if there was room.
An employee (I think the owner) showed us a seat after a somewhat rough welcome.
As soon as we were at the table, he didn't even let us sit down and asked what we wanted to drink.
"Hold on, let's see what we have."
Very rudely, he told us they only served fish.
I replied that I don't eat fish, but my wife does.
In response, he told us they served fish from the appetizer to the end, without even offering a side dish or any other option. He shrugged his shoulders and made it clear it wasn't his problem.
We had no choice but to walk away, say goodbye, and he didn't even look at us.

18/12/2025: If you want to eat good fish dishes, this little osteria is for you. It's a bit cramped, but the atmosphere is welcoming, the staff are helpful, the prices are fair, and the food is slurpable!
18/12/2025: Very good fish, traditional recipes with well-balanced combinations that showcase the diverse flavors. The location is typical, the service is truly warm and friendly, and the prices are perhaps slightly higher than expected. In any case, a recommended choice.

05/01/2026: The owners are wonderful. The rooms are beautiful, clean, and functional. The food is excellent for a reasonable price. Ideal for beautiful hikes in the low-to-medium mountains. A little out of the way if you want to visit a few other towns. You sleep well in the total silence. In the evening, it's very easy to spot wild animals.

We've been there twice; both times we had a great time, and the staff was friendly and professional.
The food wasn't divine, but it was definitely good: once the pizza and the second time the classic grilled meat. I'll be back to try the fried fish.
