Osteria Da Cippi In Frisanco

Small wooden restaurant with a maximum of 10 seats in a very small village with 6 inhabitants. Modern cuisine with simple ingredients prepared very well by the chef, with school, in the dining room the sommelier offers a good wine list. The 7-course tasting menu costs 70 euros, with wines it costs around a hundred, perhaps too much.

A place to be in peace, eat well and relax. A combination of romantic and ancient like the architecture of the village, and a modern and refined cuisine. A place where we definitely want to return and where we spent an unforgettable lunch. The cook is very sweet and passionate about her work. Super recommended!

O sai che c'è, o non lo troverai mai! È situato in un piccolo borgo in prossimità del paese di Frisanco, non fronte strada ma un po' nascosto. Il locale mi è piaciuto moltissimo, anche per i suoi quattro (di numero) tavoli. L'atmosfera che si respira è elegantemente rustica e la temperatura ambientale non certo fredda. C'è unicamente un menù degustazione, con piatti preparati con particolare cura, anche se si è puntato più sull'aspetto e qualità che sulla quantità (decisamente contenuta). Servizio eccellente. Lo consiglio vivamente se si vuol fare bella figura. Uniche perplessità: il prezzo di quattro euro per il coperto è un po' alto, e, specialmente, 30 euro per tre calici di buon vino (10 euro a calice) sono decisamente troppi.

Splendid location, excellent welcome, quality zero-mile food, exquisite tasting menu. We can't wait to try the autumn and winter menus too. Few seats, very pleasant management, the host was able to pamper us with the excellent dishes and wines offered and with great professionalism in the description of the food offered. Reservations are required. By setting the navigator with the indicated address, you get to via Valdestali, but then you have to continue (always by car) going up for about another 3 km, leaving a small sanctuary on the right and then arriving at Borgo Valdestali, where there is a group of houses on the left and a breathtaking landscape on the right. It is best to park before the descent and the group of houses and walk down (about 100 metres) until you reach the Dal Cippi tavern... take a few steps and find yourself in front of the charm of this tavern. Absolutely recommended!

Particular place not easy to find but you will find yourself in the middle of the foothill hills in ancient abandoned and reclaimed villages..... Quiet and relaxing place surrounded by nature....
