Extensive traditional menu, but the star of Trattoria La Pace is the torta fritta. Crispy and dry, served hot, accompanied by a selection of cured meats, including cooked shoulder ham... the best I've ever eaten. Gorgonzola and Nutella in a glass were also included for the grand finale. Very fair price. Modest outdoor seating. The indoor dining room is air-conditioned, keeping the temperature just right. The only downside is that it's very noisy when people are talking, but that certainly didn't ruin a perfect, simple evening. The service was excellent. I'd gladly return.

The feel is that of an old-fashioned trattoria with a family atmosphere. The atmosphere is simple but welcoming, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the traditional food is very good and the portions are generous.

Excellent trattoria in a pleasantly old-fashioned atmosphere, traditional dishes with friendly service, almost everything made in-house including the liqueurs, prices reasonable for the quantity offered.

A must. Whenever I'm back in the area for work, a stop at "Trattoria della Pace" is a must: friendly staff, excellent service, a casual atmosphere, and quality food (and plenty of it). See you next time!

The trattoria is always a guarantee --- everything is excellent!! The fried cake and pisarei are delicious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And lastly, the fried cake with Nutella is amazing!!!!

01/08/2026: Personally, I don't like thick pizza by the slice. When I ordered, I didn't know that Astra pizza was a slice of stuffed focaccia. Tiramisu €7. Made with frozen sponge cake. I wasn't satisfied... with either the service or the food. I won't be back.
30/07/2026: I was here for a group dinner and I have to say it was a truly wonderful discovery. The place is beautiful, both inside and out, with a garden. The pizzas are very unique, with two types: a thin one and a thick one, served by the slice, with many toppings. The dessert was spectacular! The owner is very friendly.

05/05/2026: I'm confident in giving it three stars (more than anything because of the value of the village)..... BUT.... I couldn't stop for lunch because the place was closed 🥺..... just another Tuesday 👋💥
28/04/2026: Very nice setting right in front of the Borgo di Vigoleno. I really enjoyed finding the little cactus pot on the table🌵. The interior is very spacious, the tables are well spaced from each other. We thank all the very kind staff, we ate very well. We tried a typical cold cut called "la Giovanna" which was truly excellent. I believe it is a typical Piacenza cold cut (cooked pancetta) that I have never had before... You can eat both inside and outside the restaurant. For a day out, based on my experience, I highly recommend it with a reservation 😅😜
