The food was delicious again. I haven't been here in a long time. The staff was super friendly, as is typical here. I'd say the ambiance is typically Italian – rustic, but everything was spotlessly clean. My only complaint is that they heated a lot of things in the microwave. I had the chance to look into the kitchen while I was there. Everything was fresh, but the pasta and other items came out of the microwave piping hot. It's a real shame because the restaurant itself is fantastic.

People who deserve to be rewarded for their simplicity and honesty! After the terrible experience at the "La Fragolina" restaurant in Mantua, here's proof that there's good food out there: simply cooked food, served hot, and a limited but very honest menu. Well done, guys! Congratulations!

22/02/2026: When the word "trattoria" regains its meaning... the real one, not the "rustic/chic trattorias" they use today. We were there today, welcomed even though it was late; that already says something, speaks of an important gesture, one that, perhaps, we take for granted... finding something to eat. And how we had lunch... culatello so good it seemed to "sing," and then the rest: homemade cannelloni, herb tortelli, all with an aroma that brings back memories. A good house Lambrusco, authentic and clean-tasting. Desserts? Everything homemade, from the semifreddo to the sbrisolona and the chiacchiere. Behind all this is the vast experience and familiarity of people who know how to "do" and are genuine, almost unfashionable for some. A wonderful experience!
06/12/2025: The culatello is beyond excellent, the eel and catfish are fried, dry and crispy, the Sbrisolona is amazing, and the homemade nocino liqueur is just like at your aunt's house. Go there, it's fantastic!
