08/05/2026: I stopped in for lunch. The bar is spacious, both inside and outside, and there's a covered area. Very well-maintained, it offers salads and first courses, including various flans and rice with vegetables and chicken (the day I went). Very friendly staff! The coffee is also excellent ☕️

15/05/2026: This is our second visit, and it's a special place! The atmosphere is very relaxed, intimate, and familiar, and the owner is attentive and warm like few others. The food is very good, but when it comes to wines, we're talking about something else entirely! He knows how to recommend, compare, and isn't afraid to open two or three quality bottles to help you find the perfect one. Now one of our favorites in Modena, as Modena natives!

09/05/2026: It's a shame I can't give it 10 stars, because this place truly deserves it. Exquisite dishes, excellent ingredients, and simply unsurpassed desserts. You can clearly sense the work, passion, and love that goes into every detail. Impeccable service and a welcoming atmosphere. Unless you stop by at least once, it's impossible to truly understand the value of this restaurant. Everything is delicious and beautiful.

24/02/2026: Found it by mistake thanks to a woman I met on the street. A truly large and beautifully spacious space. Really good food, super value for money. The staff is incredibly kind and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

15/03/2026: A quick sandwich for lunch (having only 30 minutes). Fresh produce, unsalted ham. The bartender was friendly and helpful. All this with soft background music.

29/05/2026: Hi, I ordered a fried dumpling (rubbery and inedible). In fact, I left everything on my plate, including the sandwich with too much sauce, which I found disgusting. I left that too. I asked for a Sheppes tonic and was served a lemon Sheppes. The service was without the slightest smile, as if they were doing me a favor. I gave it an extra star because, as a tobacconist, they are very well stocked, including non-combustible products, which is rare. I didn't want to leave my reason, but since it's requested, I'll kindly leave it. Best regards

30/01/2026: Excellent bar. Wide selection of sweet and savory breakfast items and excellent aperitifs. Kudos to all the staff, always smiling and very knowledgeable.

22/12/2025: Aside from the hours listed, which aren't the actual ones, I had a great time. The girl kept the place open for our planned aperitif and even offered us chips. The place is very large and well-organized. I recommend it!

20/11/2025: After visiting the museum I had lunch in this place which was a wonderful surprise. Excellent homemade pasta and very kind staff, worth trying.

26/04/2026: Never again. We had made a reservation the day before for 10 people, and we arrived on time, but it took them over 20 minutes to bring us the menus. We quickly ordered similar dishes to avoid complications, since we were a large table. One appetizer for everyone and only one main course per person. The waitress told us that, due to the number of people, it would take a while, half an hour. Well, we ended up eating two and a half hours later. It's incredible that no one paid us any attention. The waiters and staff walked past us, completely ignoring us, until, after an hour and a half, we asked how much longer it would be. Then, after almost two hours, they told us that the pasta for five of the dishes we'd ordered was out and asked us why we wanted to change them. At that point, we were tempted to leave. A terrible experience; the food was nothing special.

26/04/2026: Terrible service. We were a table of 10. The waiter came to take our order 15-20 minutes after we arrived. We immediately ordered everything, from drinks and appetizers to main courses. The appetizer arrived after an hour. We were already quite annoyed, but we hoped the rest of our order would arrive immediately. Instead, we waited another hour and a half for the main courses. If we hadn't asked the waiter about the food, we would have waited even longer. He came back shortly afterward to tell us he couldn't bring us the tagliatelle we'd originally ordered (2 hours earlier) because they were out of stock. Perhaps if they'd started preparing them immediately after taking our order, they could have served them. So we had to go through the main course order again in a very chaotic manner, with the waiter talking over us and being very rushed. It didn't seem like they were in a rush with the service in general, but still. The food is good, but nothing special. On a positive note, the homemade Lambrusco was good.

10/05/2026: I went for lunch for my birthday, and what can I say? I treated myself to a treat! I ate fabulous borlenghi, a simply delicious first course, delicious gnocchi and tigelle, and the staff was kind, attentive, and above all knowledgeable. Thank you so much for your hospitality, and keep up the good work.

23/11/2025: Fried gnocchi: Spectacular! Pappardelle with ragù were splendid, cappellacci with porcini mushrooms were incredible, a parmesan cream tartlet was mouth-watering, polenta with porcini mushrooms brought back memories of camping in the mountains, and a fabulous beef tagliata! What can I say.... a well-deserved 5-star rating!

06/11/2025: A decidedly negative experience. We went, attracted by the set menu advertised the previous few days. Upon arrival, however, I discovered that the menu offered was for the previous evening and that there was a confusing distinction between the pizzeria restaurant and the hotel restaurant. We decided to stay anyway and order à la carte, choosing typical mountain dishes based on mushrooms. Unfortunately, the dining experience was disappointing: the tortelloni had an acidic filling, the tagliatelle arrived without mushroom sauce, and only after reporting the problem were they returned to the table with barely any sauce. The second course, pork cheek with mushroom head, was small in portions and underwhelming: three slices of meat, one mushroom head limp and tasteless, dry (€18). The service was poorly organized, with staff inattentive and not always available to handle requests. Considering the medium-high cost and the renowned mushroom tradition of these mountains, I would have expected much more in terms of quality, attention to detail, and customer transparency. I wouldn't recommend this experience to anyone looking for authentic mountain home cooking or simply professionalism and transparency.
