22/04/2025: High expectations but mediocre experience. Let's start with the cover charge: €4 per person is frankly excessive compared to the service offered and the quality of the bread and breadsticks served, both quite ordinary. Whoever manages the restaurant (I think the owner) also takes care of the cooking, I really appreciate the spirit of sacrifice and passion but if you ask the customer for €4 cover charge you should also offer an adequate service. The wine list seemed interesting, but as I'm not an expert I won't go too far in evaluations. The fried gnocco and raw ham are very good. Good quality and quantity. The appetizer with pear was decidedly disappointing: simple to the point of banality, devoid of character or a distinctive element that would truly make it a restaurant dish. Also in this case the price is much higher than the dish offered. The pasta was of excellent quality, well cooked, but the truffle was completely devoid of flavour. Even tasting it separately, there was no aroma or aftertaste. The duck breast with orange was also disappointing: the cut used was thick and not very tender and not very tasty. Eatable yes, but below expectations. The croque madame was discreet, technically well executed, but even in this case the dish suffered from a marked lack of flavor - a constant found in several courses. Overall, a mediocre experience. The two stars mainly reflect the price requested compared to the quality and service offered. We were aware of the average cost of the dishes but had different expectations. However I think the restaurant has really good potential. The atmosphere is intimate and the interior decor is very pleasant. The menu is rich and different from the usual traditional menu. However, the owner was kind and helpful when he was in the room. I hope it will improve over time so I can come back and do a different review! Ps: there were 4 of us and we took 3 starters of which one was for two, two second courses and two first courses. A bottle of wine and 4 coffees and we didn't ask for any discount!

23/05/2025: Food was good, but kinda overpriced. Loved the vibe! It’s a great spot for a chill hang with friends or acquaintances. That said, the service was off. The waiters were pretty rude, took my plates without asking, and I felt rushed out (was even asked to leave). I was also served a dirty glass of water. Not the best overall experience.

08/05/2025: Ho chiesto un prosecco per aperitivo, mi hanno portato prima un vino orrendo inclassificabile, poi un Trento non meglio determinato, di cui comunque non ho visto la bottiglia, poi, dopo le mie proteste, un calice di Franciacorta pagato 8 euro + 4 euro per stuzzichini gommosi (arancini, crocchette e qualcosa con provola e speck). Assolutamente da evitare se non siete proprio parenti!

23/05/2025: An embarrassing thing. Totally out of control tonight. Waiter going around the tables asking out loud who ordered this or that... And no one who was with the orders. My salad arrived after half an hour and my wife's 3 tigelle never arrived. The visibly embarrassed girl refunded us. But it's not so much the fault of the guys but of their manager or coordinator.. It should be taken and left at home. Never experienced a situation like this in another pantry Emilia.

09/12/2024: I am now fond of this place because for more than a year I have found myself here sometimes for breakfast, sometimes for lunch between one work shift and another. The girls who work there are helpful and friendly. There are vegan options such as croissants for breakfast and grilled vegetables and pasta for lunch. The bathroom is clean and there are also many outdoor tables under a gazebo. The owners work with great zeal and seriousness.

07/05/2025: Nella semplicità del locale vieni accolto con cortesia, simpatia e genuinità; noi abbiamo prenotato perché a pranzo è frequentato da molta gente ma questo non crea tempi lunghi d'attesa. La cucina è varia ed accontenta i gusti di tutti con un occhio alla cucina tipica ma con la possibilità di gustare del buon pesce. Piatti generosi e molto gustosi; fantastiche le cozze e vongole e la grigliata di crostacei fatta alla perfezione. Unico cruccio: non poter gustare i dolci perché le porzioni di quanto ordinato erano davvero abbondanti ma, tornerò:

23/03/2025: Piacevole scoperta dove non ero mai stato, locale facilissimo da trovare quando però è pieno risulta difficile la conversazione perché il fraustono è un po sgradevole. Piatti buoni sia nella qualità ma soprattutto nella quantità.

21/03/2025: Truly a beautiful place, very welcoming and temperate, the service is truly one of the best I've ever seen, the food is delicious and with excellent prices and very quick to prepare both for the pizzas (cooked perfectly and well stuffed) and for the first and second courses (very substantial), the staff are very kind and very friendly, always ready to serve and the prices are really good for all meals👍👍👍of the many places I've been in Italy here truly one of the best.
