12/09/2025: A vast natural setting, surrounded by animals and lush greenery, the exceptional dishes, from appetizers to dessert, are all surrounded by a beautiful view of the Modena mountains. Excellent value for money. An oasis of peace where you can recharge your batteries.

10/08/2025: Restaurant review. I expected more, given what I'd heard. As for the food, they brought us the menu without asking or even asking. It was all game: tagliatelle with wild boar, sedanini (locally bought) with chanterelles, a very good sliced venison, a very flavorful roast wild boar, and a frozen tiramisu. What I missed was that, even though the waitress came promptly and precisely to bring us everything in perfect condition, no other member of the staff, owner, or chef, showed up to exchange a word or a greeting. This left me a bit disappointed, considering such a long trip and such a beautiful place. Maybe they had other commitments, but for the price, I would have expected added value.

23/11/2025: Historic pub. Good beers. The room also often hosts music evenings. The stools and sofas need replacing...literally worn out.

As for the quality of the dishes, I don't doubt that others might appreciate it: I've reported my perception, which doesn't match what you describe. Best regards." ------------------------------------------------------ I went to this restaurant for lunch with some colleagues, and the experience was far from satisfactory. We were seated in an outdoor seating area, with pleasant-looking but largely ineffective heaters. Even though it was October and it wasn't particularly cold outside, the atmosphere was still chilly and unsuitable for a quiet meal. The service was friendly, but the organization left much to be desired. I had chosen a first course from one of the blackboards scattered around the restaurant, only to discover that the lunch menus were different. It would be better to remove or update those blackboards if the dishes aren't available, to avoid confusion. The real problem, however, was the food. I ordered a pasta carbonara, which had nothing special about the sauce, but above all, the pasta was "dry," clearly precooked and then reheated, probably in the microwave. The result was a ruined dish, with a consistency that should never come from a professional kitchen. I understand that restaurants need to speed up their service, but there are techniques that allow them to do so without compromising quality. Here, however, the pasta was unpresentable; fortunately, I've rarely encountered such a dish. To make matters worse, two of my colleagues ordered gnocchi alla sorrentina and found one with a shapeless, unmelted "brick" of industrial mozzarella, while the other had a plate with no mozzarella whatsoever. The bill was €14.50 each for water and a first course. Many might consider this a reasonable price, but it doesn't justify the quality offered: elsewhere, for the same price, you can eat properly cooked pasta. In conclusion, a popular but overrated restaurant with an uncomfortable atmosphere, poor organization, and disappointing dishes. Despite the courtesy of the staff, the overall experience was negative. Not recommended.

02/11/2025: Bobotti's is one of those places where it's always a pleasure to return for an aperitivo, both summer and winter, with its indoor seating. I recommend their Bobotti sweet potato chips; they're amazing :) Parking along the avenues. Reservations recommended.

14/07/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance for a pre-lunch aperitivo, and it was a wonderful discovery. A little paradise in San Vito, no pretentiousness, lots of authenticity, and a real sense of well-being. A place with a beautiful, serene, relaxing atmosphere. I never wanted to leave. Let's hope it never changes.

16/11/2025: Craft brewery in Modena with a nice selection of beers and a friendly atmosphere. Nice pub and good food, including excellent pulled beer. There's room for improvement in the service, especially the ordering process, which can take a long time. A great place to spend an evening with friends. They also have excellent gluten-free beers.

12/11/2025: The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent. The price was a bit steep, but you can't have everything in life, right? A great experience, definitely worth repeating.

30/11/2025: I went there today for the first time after many years and various changes in management, it was a good lunch without too many frills and ceremonies, the food was good even if the menu is a little limited but I have to say that it has a lot of potential so I feel like giving four stars to encourage this business

23/11/2025: Fried gnocchi: Spectacular! Pappardelle with ragù were splendid, cappellacci with porcini mushrooms were incredible, a parmesan cream tartlet was mouth-watering, polenta with porcini mushrooms brought back memories of camping in the mountains, and a fabulous beef tagliata! What can I say.... a well-deserved 5-star rating!

06/11/2025: A decidedly negative experience. We went, attracted by the set menu advertised the previous few days. Upon arrival, however, I discovered that the menu offered was for the previous evening and that there was a confusing distinction between the pizzeria restaurant and the hotel restaurant. We decided to stay anyway and order à la carte, choosing typical mountain dishes based on mushrooms. Unfortunately, the dining experience was disappointing: the tortelloni had an acidic filling, the tagliatelle arrived without mushroom sauce, and only after reporting the problem were they returned to the table with barely any sauce. The second course, pork cheek with mushroom head, was small in portions and underwhelming: three slices of meat, one mushroom head limp and tasteless, dry (€18). The service was poorly organized, with staff inattentive and not always available to handle requests. Considering the medium-high cost and the renowned mushroom tradition of these mountains, I would have expected much more in terms of quality, attention to detail, and customer transparency. I wouldn't recommend this experience to anyone looking for authentic mountain home cooking or simply professionalism and transparency.

27/10/2025: Not a bad business lunch. The butt parts of a couple of the waitresses were also interesting.

15/10/2025: A very welcoming pub, with friendly and attentive staff, good food, and live music. I highly recommend it if you're in the area.
