05/01/2025: Average pizza restaurant. Without infamy and without praise

30/11/2024: They brought me here to watch karaoke which was fun and somehow made me forget about the truly… unclassifiable dinner. The Made in Italy menu proposed this evening was a single dish with spaghetti with tomato, a cutlet of who knows what animal, some chips and a tuft of raw ham with parmesan cheese. Luckily I arrived late and saw the dishes on the table so I avoided to take this truly ugly single dish and, according to those who ate it, not at all good. I threw myself into a pizza but that was also a disappointment... I only ate half of it, I'll take the other part home for the dog hoping he'll eat it. I tried to taste a friend's pumpkin and sausage risotto at the table with me and... there is no such thing as a risotto that shouldn't be served... you can't call it risotto but undercooked white rice with random pieces thrown on top! High prices for less quality than a workers' canteen... totally failed.

30/03/2025: yesterday we stopped a few minutes before closing and were able to enjoy 5 fabulous ice creams after a nice journey from Milan. courteous and friendly receptionist, excellent and refined tastes, top quality, excellent price. I highly recommend

05/04/2025: Returning from a walk to the Sassi di Rocca Malati we stop in this place attracted by the "Oggi borlenghi" sign. We took borlenghi stuffed with robiola and spinach, porcini cream and a dessert with berries. Tigelle appetizer offered by the restaurant. A White Dog beer (brewery producing nearby). Welcoming environment, even smiling staff. Absolutely reasonable price.

25/03/2025: Excellent first courses and very generous portions at an excellent price

13/04/2025: Very nice place, there were 15 of us and they reserved a room on the upper floor all for us. The waitress was kind and patient, service was quite fast, the only flaw was the pizza wasn't anything good.

02/04/2025: Spaghetti with clams full of sand and with the shells all broken, it tasted like vegetable broth... Meh

14/03/2025: Local historian of Modena. I went last night with friends for an aperitif: rich, delicious dishes with an excellent choice also for vegetarians and vegans. Attentive, polite and smiling staff, the manager very friendly and very sensitive to customer needs. It's difficult to combine customer care, good food and truly extraordinary value for money. They can do it! A confirmation...we will be back soon! Luisa & Co.

29/07/2024: Grazioso hotel situato proprio nel centro del paese. Purtroppo siamo rimasti solo una notte ma è stata un’esperienza sicuramente più che positiva. Il personale gentilissimo e disponibile, camera pulita, perfetta, ottimo anche il ristorante. Se il prossimo anno torneremo a Zocca sceglieremo di sicuro questo hotel. Consigliato 🔝

24/02/2025: Unfortunately, for a few months I have noticed that the quality of the food has dropped significantly. Nowadays there are few times when we eat decently. Today, for example, it was a disaster: The hake was cold and dried up. The raw, cold, watered-down potatoes... I couldn't eat them.

18/03/2025: Restaurant and pizzeria located inside the Modena Est sports center. Informal, rustic, easy-going atmosphere without frills. Generous portions with a menu that ranges from meat to fish, gnocco and tigelle with cold cuts and pizza. Average-low prices if you consider that with one course you can easily eat for two.

15/03/2025: Noto essere ristorante qualita' prezzo non adeguato ma avrei voluto pagare cio' che ho ordinato . Ordinato Gnocco e tigelle come antipasto e cosi' e' stato portato e non sono certamente obbligato a memorizzare tutto quello che include il piatto . Pagato il conto non mi sono messo a spulciare voce per voce essendo con clienti e di fretta . Verifico successivamente e mi ritrovo un piatto di culatello ed uno di formaggi non ordinato che non erano inclusi ovviamente nel menu' quindi da pagare a parte . Ora se ordino delle marmellate e della mortadella avrei giustificato forse l' errore di portare culatello e formaggi pur non essendoci nessuna assonanza tra le parole ma se ordino "Gnocco e tigelle per due" non vedo cosa ci sia di cosi difficile da capire . In sintesi riengo che avendo dopo ordinato solo pasta non arrivavamo al budget di spesa che si erano prefissati e quindi hanno fatto aggiunte a piacere loro . Oltretutto in maniera professionale dopo la cena ti arriva whats app dove chiedono una recensione che ovviamente e' stata pessima ma non si sono nemmeno degnati di rispondere alle critiche sollevate

26/03/2025: Old-time atmosphere, familiar and welcoming. The borlenghi and the fried gnocco are spectacular. Fair prices, not at all expensive. Not surprisingly, it was packed on Monday evening. Five well-deserved stars.

20/03/2025: Really friendly staff. Abundant and good dishes. They served us without problems even though we arrived without booking and after lunch time. Clean bathrooms, clean tables and eating with that view is really relaxing. Slightly high prices, especially if we consider that it was outside the high season and that the cooked ham was clearly old, almost spoiled.
