24/09/2025: Our experience at this restaurant was overshadowed by what felt like an unfair practice. We chose the tasting menu, which cost around €370 in total. When it came to selecting the wine, we trusted the staff’s recommendation, expecting something balanced and in line with the meal. However, the suggested bottle ended up costing €400 — more expensive than the entire food itself.
At a restaurant of this level, there should be full transparency, especially when staff are making recommendations. Guests should always be made aware of the price range before such an expensive bottle is served. This left us with the impression of abuse and a lack of care towards the customer.
The food was fine, but the way the wine was handled completely ruined the experience.

06/01/2026: We visited this restaurant last night, passing through the streets of Salerno to see the Christmas lights. Mr. Mimmo showed us the various menus as we passed, and on our way back, we stopped.
What can I say? We made an excellent choice! We ordered the fish menu, delicious, with generous portions, but above all, the fish was fresh and cooked to order.
I highly recommend anyone who happens to be in Salerno to stop and savor the delicacies of this restaurant.

11/10/2025: I often go when they organize evenings, but yesterday was one of the last times I will go, having found very poor service and staff composed of incompetent girls, starting with the cloakroom paid 5 euros where you had to put your jacket/fur coat without being able to give any sensible reason, saying that they had specified it on the poster when it was not true, all this said with arrogance, then after it was the only place left in the area for evenings they raised the price of a cocktail to 7 euros and water to 3, without even having a price list, so with this money buy yourselves some dignity and improve the staff!
17/06/2025: I was at a communion nice restaurant, but very poor staff not very attentive in the service, they did not pay attention to providing drinks and cutlery at the right time, good food but miserable quantities, very fast service not even time to wait between one course and another, I would have expected more given the presentation of the restaurant. I do not recommend.

19/09/2025: I visited this place for lunch. The venue is spectacular with a magnificent view, suitable for receptions and ceremonies of all kinds. The owner, Pasquale, and all the staff are always very friendly and knowledgeable. The kitchen focuses heavily on fish, but I have to say that their real strengths are the fried foods and pizza.

26/12/2025: No Coca-Cola at all. Disregard for cutlery and glasses. Appetizer with stale prosciutto, flavorless salami with only garlic-flavored oil and cheese. It was probably cut with a garlic-stained knife or on a cutting board used for garlic. "Pappardelle ai funghi" was sticky and lacked salt. The meat was ordered rare... It was medium rare. Good, as were the baked potatoes (perhaps dried), but not worth the price. Limoncello was water and alcohol. No cane sugar.
Poor service, with constant mistakes and a lack of products.
The only thing we appreciated was the view of the pool, beautiful and useful in the summer.
The price is not worth what we ate, considering it's considered agritourism.
25/12/2025: The location was far from the city and the parking lot was poorly maintained. The pool outside was fairly clean, even in winter. As soon as we entered, we sat down, and the cutlery and glasses were stained. The appetizer consisted of a sweet but dark prosciutto, a poor-quality mozzarella, a cheese that tasted of garlic, and a BLACK salami. The pappardelle were supposed to be with sausage and mushrooms, but they arrived with cream and mushrooms. The pasta was sticky, some parts were overcooked, and had little flavor. The meat arrived cooked differently than ordered, but it was the best part. The lamb with peas was mush. We ate the baked potatoes because we were hungry. The bread was hard and stale. The food arrived late, but the waiter was always friendly.
For 8 of us, we paid €293.

25/08/2025: Yesterday I went for the first time with some friends. We had two virgincoladas and a Caperol. The virgincoladas only had pineapple flavor, no coconut. The Caperol was full of ice, maybe a little Campari, and it wasn't clear if it was Prosecco or sparkling water because of all the ice in it.
All in all, it was €22, and they gave us two bags of small chips and a tiny chipster. The only redeeming feature is the place, which has this beautiful, large pool in the middle and lots of seating where you can truly relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. There's no noise. That's the only redeeming feature.

06/11/2025: Tourist scammers!!!! Beware of this place 🤷🏼♀️ Two coffees and two small cookies for 14 euros, I advise you to avoid this place. I paid 6.40 euros for the same coffee and cookies elsewhere.

20/08/2025: Palinuro is beautiful, worth a visit. Speaking of the structure, the rooms are poor, the bathrooms are not maintained, there is no mini fridge, the mattress is more comfortable than the one on the beach, for those with leg problems there is no adequate service.

27/08/2025: A simply perfect evening at Agriturismo Le Prunelle. Nestled in the tranquil Cannalonga area, this restaurant offers one of the most breathtaking views you could wish for, overlooking the heart of Cilento and the sea. A panorama worth the visit alone, it fills the eyes and soul.
The cuisine is the true protagonist: an authentic experience of the most authentic flavors of Cilento tradition. We began with an appetizer of rosemary pizza scraps, offered on the house, delicious, a start that immediately demonstrated the exceptional quality of the menu. The meat and side dishes were a testament to this: excellent quality ingredients, expertly cooked with an almost sacred respect for the authentic flavors.
The suckling pig deserves an honorable mention: tender, flavorful, and impeccably cooked. Simply fantastic, one of those dishes you remember for a long time. To round things off, we were treated to an out-of-this-world Annurca apple liqueur, a spectacular digestif that capped off a memorable dinner.
But a place isn't just about good food and beautiful views. Sincere praise goes to Raffaele and his entire staff. Their friendliness, promptness, and attentiveness to our every request made the experience even more enjoyable and special. We felt pampered and at home from the first to the last minute.
If you're looking for authentic Cilento cuisine, a warm welcome, and a dream location, Le Prunelle is a must-see. Highly recommended!
