31/12/2024: December 31st scammed by this bar. 4 adults and 2 bags of chips total 45 euros. We consumed a prosecco in a plastic glass, strictly hot, a spritz, 2 bitters (already poured into the glass with the same size as that of the prosecco) strictly 50 cents in the bottle, breathless and really ugly. The waitress arrives without appetizers, I ask her if they weren't included in the 45 scam. It arrives with a miserable plate, also made of plastic, and with cold and tasteless dishes. I wonder why it is NOWHERE specified that the price for today is 10 euros and that hot prosecco in plastic is an outrage. The answer from a waiter is that the prices are standard. Shame on you. Thieves!

30/04/2025: This is not just a pizzeria but an experience. I liked the pizza, the price even more. Cash is better (the owner's answer).. precise is even better (I add). There is a lot of space outside and it's a nice terrace. Arm yourself with fun for a Gigino the Pirate experience!

10/05/2025: Total disappointment: food and hygiene below every standard Rating: 1 star because there is no less Dinner as a couple at the Il Veliero restaurant in Sapri in April '25, and unfortunately I have to report a very negative experience. The fish served was of poor quality, poorly cooked and presented in a careless way: the result was…. dishes (a mixed starter for me and a second course for my husband) practically inedible. The hygienic conditions are also serious: dirty tablecloths removed from the tables are piled up a few steps from the entrance, in full view of the customers and in total contrast with the most basic cleaning standards. The manager, seeing that we practically didn't touch any food, let us go to pay for a dish. If I had been in his place I would have only charged for the drinks. Inattentive service, sloppy atmosphere. It's a shame, because the location could offer much more, given its proximity to the sea. I will not return and I strongly advise against it.

10/05/2025: Valutazione: 1 pallino, perché meno non c’è. Cena in coppia al ristorante Il Veliero di Sapri in Aprile ‘25, e purtroppo devo segnalare un’esperienza molto negativa. Il pesce servito era di qualità scadente, mal cucinato e presentato in modo trascurato: il risultato è stato…. piatti (un antipasto misto per me e un secondo per mio marito) praticamente immangiabili. Gravi anche le condizioni igieniche: a pochi passi dall’ingresso vengono ammassate le tovaglie sporche rimosse dai tavoli, in vista dei clienti e in totale contrasto con le più elementari norme di pulizia. Il gestore, visto che praticamente non abbiamo toccato cibo, ci ha lasciato andare per il pagamento, un piatto, fossi stato al suo posto avrei fatto pagare solo le bevande. Servizio disattento, atmosfera trascurata. Peccato, perché la posizione potrebbe offrire ben altro, visto la vicinanza al mare. Non tornerò e sconsiglio vivamente.

20/03/2025: Childhood memories... the Anna bar was always there. I recommend the wild strawberry granita. Only suggestion for the service: in my opinion it is not polite to ask for payment every time you bring things to the table. At least in the international context it is not used like this. The calculation should be done at the end. And you would also have more revenue since in my opinion it is very annoying to pay multiple times (i.e. I avoid it).

27/04/2025: Caseificio collocato in un’ottima posizione e circondato da grandi aree verdi. Purtroppo la location non basta per essere vincenti. Mi sono recata di domenica e ho fatto una modesta fila per dotarmi di scontrino; scelgo due focacce farcite e una bottiglia piccola di acqua al costo di 13.00 euro. Al momento del mio turno mostro ad una ragazza del personale lo scontrino e mi dice che solo una focaccia è rimasta poi è terminato tutto. In poche parole ho pagato qualcosa che poi non mi è stato dato. Le ho chiesto le alternative e mi diceva che non voleva litigare con le sue colleghe e che io le dovevo dire cosa fare! Assurdo! L’inadeguatezza dell’organizzazione che non ha previsto focacce con crudo e mozzarella che è un “must” per un caseificio e soprattutto non rendersi conto della quantità di persone che ci sono nel fine settimana. Alla fine ho dovuto pretendere un piatto di crudo e pagare altri 4 euro.

23/04/2025: Con dei miei amici abbiamo pensato di andare al caseificio il giorno di sabato santo (19 aprile). Giornata bellissima e cibo ottimo se non fosse per la figliata da 2kg che avevo ordinato il giorno prima, che mi è stata data da 1.7kg (pur pagandola da 2kg), e dove i bocconcini all’interno risultavano frizzanti e acidi. Anche la panna non era fresca visto che era molto densa. L’ho mangiata il giorno dopo a pranzo e l’ho conservata come mi hanno detto loro (fuori dal frigorifero senza aprire la busta della sua acqua di governo). Non solo quindi non ho potuto mangiare la figliata che avevo comprato, ma ho fatto anche una non bella figura con la mia famiglia per l’antipasto desiderato di Pasqua. Dopo 35 euro spesi in figliata mi aspettavo un prodotto molto più di qualità, invece mi sbagliavo. Deluso.

24/02/2025: Sono stato domenica a pranzo,con la mia fidanzata. Prezzo:molto buono per chi viene dalla città,vedere questi prezzo sono molto buoni,ma poi ci vale il prodotto. Accoglienza:molto,ma molto vecchia la struttura. Servizio:molto veloce,ragazzi tutti gentili e pronti a soddisfare le tue richieste. L’unica pecca la bustina di zucchero vicino al caffè che è logata (Juventus calcio). Bella esperienza,primi eccezionali. Carne molto di qualità (prezzo buono),le patate (contorno) buonissimo. Ci ritorno sicuramente e lo consiglio.

03/06/2025: What a great restaurant. We came for the beautiful sunset because this is a suitable place for that. A table in the middle of the Oude Haven. The food was more than tasty. Fresh and exactly as it should be in Italian. The local wine that was recommended to us was a perfect match and had a unique taste. But what charmed us most was a lovely conversation with the owner and his son. Go eat here!

31/05/2025: Un’esperienza davvero indimenticabile! Questo ristorante affacciato sul mare offre una vista mozzafiato che da sola vale la visita, ma il vero incanto è nel piatto. Abbiamo gustato pesce freschissimo, preparato con semplicità e maestria, esaltando i sapori autentici del mare. Ogni portata è stata una scoperta: dagli antipasti delicati ai primi saporiti, fino al pescato del giorno che sembrava appena uscito dall’acqua. Il tutto accompagnato da un ottimo vino bianco consigliato dal personale, sempre attento, gentile e mai invadente. Cenare qui al tramonto, con i colori del cielo che si riflettono sull’acqua e il suono delle onde di sottofondo, è stato un vero regalo. Consigliatissimo a chi cerca buona cucina di pesce, atmosfera rilassata e una location che lascia senza parole. Ci torneremo sicuramente!

03/06/2025: We came here on a honeymoon, having never been at a Michelin restaurant, looking forward to the experience. We left quite disappointed. The restaurant is pretty, and views from the villa are spectacular, but once we entered we got ushered into the restaurant through a back alley so we didn't get to see the gardens. We didn't know what to expect, but the first impression was - air of pretentiousness. Most waiters were smug, but maybe it's what it's supposed to be. We ordered a 6-course meal for two persons and honestly, it was nothing special. Appetisers were bread sticks coated with "special" oil, bread, butter and a tiny dish I only remember as being ok. I've had much better in 10x cheaper restaurants. First meal, that we liked the most was amberjack, which was interesting and delicious, albeit tiny. It tasted like herring which I don't normally like, but it was coated in sweet sauce and melted in my mouth. Next we got "tender asparagus" flower, but it was very chewy, and tasted... like asparagus. The nice sauce it was coated in couldn't save the meal. Third meal was risotto. It was ok. The rice was too hard for my liking and oversalted. It wasn't even that interesting and I've had tastier risotto in supermarket restaurants. Fourth meal was seafood spaghettini, presented in a form of a ball. Interesting, and tasted good, even if too salty. On our trip we ate mostly in Italian food in local restaurants, and I've had seafood pasta 3 times. All of those times it was heavenly. This one was decent, but way worse than any of the ones I had. Next up was sea bass. The presentation wasn't that interesting, just a tiny piece of fish with some sweet sauce. It tasted good, though not mind blowing. Veal fillet was tasty but nothing special. It was presented in an interesting way, with greens stacked on top of the tiny bit of fillet. Last meal was a desert delivered in a half-spiral plate. It looked like a deconstruction of a lemon cake, with different ingredients stacked in different places you then combine in your mouth. Interesting. I've seen this idea before, and that one tasted much better. We had better-tasting deserts in cheaper restaurants. In total we paid just short of 700 euros. I expected to pay 500. It's extremely overpriced, in my opinion, considering the price-value ratio and the wait times between meals were around 20-40 minutes - very long. In the end, we even got charged for things we haven't ordered. For instance, we ordered 2 non-alcoholic cocktails for 14 euros each. After finishing them, the waiter asked if wanted a refill, which we DECLINED. The bill said 4 cocktails, so we got charged for them to ask us if we wanted a cocktail, not actually receiving one. As soon as we sat down at the table, the waiter brought a bottle of champaign to us, showed it and poured 1/3 of the glass each without asking or saying anything. We tasted it, and he asked if we'd like wine or cocktails, and we said we don't want alcoholic drinks. In the end, each of the 1/3 glasses cost 55 euros, or we inadvertently bought the whole bottle for 110 euros we didn't even want or drink for the most part. Maybe it's just my ignorance and I should've done something differently, but it felt borderline scammy. But what irked me the most was that the waiter asking if we wanted water, to which we replied yes. He went on a tangent of how pretentious their water was and we asked for a bottle. It cost 14 euros. For bottled water. That you can get in a supermarket. Why? They added no extra value... Did they pour it from some pretentious pitcher containing lemons or rosemary or any some nonsense? No. Just regular bottled water, poured in a regular glass. All in all, I do not recommend this experience. The meals overall taste fine, but much much worse than what you can get in ANY of the surrounding cheaper restaurants. Just choose one of those, save 600 euros, and have a nice evening with similar views, better-tasting meals and unpretentious service with honest pricing. Try Vittoria restaurant in Ravello, just 300 meters from the villa.

28/05/2025: We were really looking forward to a dinner experience at Il Flauto di Pan and I even reached out months before reservations were open. Unfortunately, we had a medical emergency the day prior and both of us were very ill, so we could not make it. We could not give more than 12 hour notice and were expecting to get hit with the hefty cancellation fees (100 euro per person), but both the man who answered the phone and Violetta were very understanding and, upon verifying the medical emergency, waived the fees and canceled our reservation. We unfortunately never recovered intime to attempt to attend on a different day, but we hope to have another opportunity in the future.
