10/10/2025: An absolutely disappointing experience. Three of us entered, and the lack of friendliness was immediately noticeable, like a door slammed in our face. To our simple question, "Is it open?", the waitress—visibly annoyed—replied in a dismissive tone: "Of course it's open, can't you see?" From there, everything else was downhill... but downhill. Cold service, arrogant attitude, and no desire to put the customer at ease. When we politely pointed out that we weren't experiencing any kindness, instead of receiving a smile or a word of clarification, the chef (or the owner?) appeared from the kitchen, intervening in an even harsher and more disrespectful manner. And as if that weren't enough, the first course arrived served on a wooden cutting board: a questionable and, from a hygienic standpoint, unacceptable. An experience that leaves a bitter taste in the mouth, not because of the food, but because of the attitude of those who work there. Courtesy is the first course a restaurant should serve — here, unfortunately, it was completely lacking.

24/09/2025: I decided to write a review after reading some negative comments about this charming place. I would advise these pseudo food critics to turn off the television for a bit and not be influenced by all these programs, specifically designed to influence the lower-end public and to entertain them. When you enter Azzic Azzic you enter an enchanted world, with Pino Daniele always present in the background and the Scarpariello MUST be on the wooden cutting board, not to mention the always different house appetizers. Congratulations guys, always like this 💪🏻

06/01/2026: We stayed at this agriturismo for New Year's Eve for two nights, including the New Year's Eve dinner. The rooms are new, well-maintained, and meticulously maintained, both in terms of cleanliness and furnishings. Breakfast was excellent, with a homemade cake made by Vincenzo's wife, which was truly appreciated. The property is nestled in a quiet area and is located about half an hour from the main seaside towns such as Palinuro and Ascea Marina, as well as the temples of Paestum. It would be helpful to install road signs to indicate the route, as Google Maps can lead you off-route (this happened to us). Overall, a very positive experience.

That said, the place honestly fulfills its primary purpose: offering a meal. The pizza and other dishes are unpretentious, yet a reliable and quick choice. The service is functional and prompt. In short: you don't have to be picky to appreciate Re Mida. It's the ideal place for a quick, uncomplicated meal, where the focus is on the filling food, not the visual experience. A solid choice for those who value convenience above all else.

02/10/2025: Special Pub: 15 Years of Success — An Unforgettable Evening! The 15th anniversary celebration of Special Pub in Battipaglia was a truly fun event. The atmosphere was electrifying and the organization impeccable. We came to celebrate, but of course we also ate: the food was, once again, top-notch! Amazing sandwiches and specialties, a true guarantee of quality. The owners are fantastic people, and you can see how much they put into this place. Their friendliness and dedication are the true secret to Special's biennial success. A well-deserved achievement. Special Pub is an institution: the food is excellent and the atmosphere is even better!

29/09/2025: I'm giving 5 stars only because there aren't 100!!! What can I say, a stratospheric evening, finally an event where we had fun in a genuine way and felt at home, singing at the top of our lungs while laughing and enjoying the company of everyone present!!! The quality of the products is beyond discussion, starting from the originality of the platter to the goodness of the sandwiches!!! And as the icing on the cake (which was also delicious!!!) the fireworks, explosive and colorful like the owners!!! Special, what can I say, YOU ARE SIMPLY SPECIAL ❤️

16/03/2026: Lambente and beautiful, very nice and tidy, small but a nice place, unfortunately the waiters are not Italian and we asked if the cafeteria was open the boy unfortunately did not speak our language and could not give us an answer, for the rest everything was beautiful, I recommend it also the catchy music I am slightly high

17/02/2026: We went to dinner with my nieces since we were staying in beautiful Salerno, and the food was delicious. The calzone and spaghetti carbonara were amazing. The waiter was very friendly; he brought us a complimentary glass of limoncello and tiramisu. And I got to try the Falanghina wine—exquisite! I would definitely go back. I loved it! 💯

02/02/2026: Passing through Salerno, this place managed to get us all to agree. Unsure of what to eat (between meat-eaters and vegetarians), we found this place that offers literally everything. Meat, fish, pizza, etc. And practically everything we ordered was excellent, from pizza to risotto (including fish and mozzarella) - truly a great discovery. And above all, thanks to Amid, he was super professional and patient (a table of 7), fulfilling every request with the utmost professionalism. Great person, thanks for the evening. Top

15/11/2025: The staff is venal and rude. The prices are incredibly high just for an aperitif, which isn't even an aperitif! I'll never go back!

08/03/2026: I was here this evening for an aperitif with my friends. We had drinks and a platter. The prices were fair for the drinks, but I think the platter was a bit expensive at €16. It was small and there wasn't much to taste.

22/02/2026: The woman at the ticket counter tried to sell me bus tickets to Sorrento for double the price. Four tickets at €2.80 each don't even come to €20. I imagine they sell several thousand tickets a season, so I'm ruling out a mistake (like, "Sorry, I made a typo..."). If something like that happens even just one in three times, they're bound to make a profit!

03/11/2025: Local bar with locals. Atmosphere, that's what this place doesn't lack.. only functional toilets yes :-/
