Very nice family run restaurant in Maiori. The food is good, service is excellent as are the prices

Good food. Mr. Mario is very attentive.

Was greeted by Mario who praised his wife's cooking. He was so right! I had the prawns with lemon sauce (delicious and fresh!), and my husband had the salmon (also delicious and fresh!). But the best part, the lemon cake. Wow!

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and were very hungry. The welcome was very warm, the service good, and the food excellent. We had a meat and a fish dish, including sides, dessert, and house wine. Everything was truly delicious, no exaggeration. I think some of the negative comments might stem from the staff's limited English skills and unrealistic expectations. It's down-to-earth, very good food for the price.

We spent a few days in Maiori and chose this restaurant because we appreciate family-run establishments. It's located in the middle of the pedestrian zone, with a few tables and the restaurant itself set back to the side. We were greeted warmly, but even though there were few tourists and it wasn't very busy, the younger waiters seemed rushed. The food was okay, but nothing more, which was a shame. The calamari, which cost €20, came with no side dish except half a lemon. There was no sauce. Upon asking, we were given mayonnaise in small packets. The mixed salad had only a little oil and no other dressing. There was no vinegar, salt, or anything similar on the tables. My pizza also lacked flavor. The dough was good, but there was too much cheese, which didn't improve the taste. It's a real shame; we should have paid more attention to the star rating.

We tried this on our last night in maiori and was pleasantly surprised. I had a great gnocchi and the bread was fantastic. The waiter speaks broken English so it might be a little bit slower service but that’s alright. He was extremely friendly and his wife cooked in the kitchen. They are very passionate about their restaurant, and the lemon delight was the best dessert I had in all of Italy!

Highly recommended for anyone looking for good food in a family atmosphere: Mario is the owner and Maria is the chef! Lovely outdoor seating on Maiori's main shopping street and indoor seating in the adjacent, somewhat brightly lit restaurant with a pizza oven! The atmosphere is like a typical, simple, and relaxed trattoria! The service is attentive and friendly! Special requests are accommodated! English is spoken! The kitchen does fish and pizza very well! Some excellent desserts come from the confectionery! The house wines are well-balanced! You can't go wrong here and can enjoy la dolce vita at a very good price-to-quality ratio!

We had dinner at this restaurant, a place frequented mostly by locals. Unfortunately, it wasn't a good evening for the manager; the pizza oven was broken, and the POS wasn't working. The food was average.
