29/09/2025: Very reasonable price for proper pizza. Great choice of dishes, friendly people. It is always busy there, lots of Italians eat there which speaks for itself.
27/09/2025: We loved this place. We felt welcomed and we enjoyed meeting the people around us and the staff was very friendly. It was nice to watch the pizza chef make the pizzas and the flavor was very good and they were hot which is the only way food should be served.
We were only here for 3 nights and we ate here twice. They deserve the score they have been given and I believe they’re doing their absolute best to deliver great food and service.
Give this place a try for sure!

21/11/2025: The service is a bit slow and sometimes disorganized, but the pizzas, both the counter-top and the round ones, are truly delicious, with super light dough and quality ingredients! The staff is very kind and courteous. Highly recommended.

The hotel has a wonderful, authentic charm. Everything is very well-maintained and clean. A warm welcome from father and son. Dinner in a stylish retro restaurant, with linen tablecloths, candles, etc., was of outstanding quality, and the wine recommendations were perfect for the appetizer and main course. The service from the father and son was impeccable.

02/10/2025: I rarely write reviews for average establishments. I usually do so if I'm particularly happy or unhappy with them. Almost never if asked. In this case, the review is extremely positive. Excellent staff in every area and excellent food. I'd say the fact that the establishment isn't modern allows for excellent value, and it's all managed by a great person, Rodolfo, a man of few words but great sensitivity. A place worth visiting because it does good in every sense.

Everything was perfect: the friendly and professional service, the owner's attentiveness, the freshness of the food and shellfish, the delicious flavors... The prices were quite reasonable. We'll try to go back if we're ever in the area.

20/07/2025: We returned to Lake Ampollino in Sila after four years. We were surprised to find several pleasant businesses open, and many tourists, which doesn't detract from such a beautiful and enjoyable area to visit. We enjoyed the delicacies of the region, particularly Sila, at Bar La Botte, which we hope will grow, even if there are long lines to get in in the future. Delicious, well-prepared food: we chose the set menu of veal morsels, Sila potatoes, mixed roast pork, and pappadelle with wild boar ragù.
The staff were welcoming and relaxed; it was a pleasure to sit down and enjoy their dishes. Definitely a must-visit; we'd be back!
20/07/2025: Dall’ingresso alla tavola, tutto è stato perfetto. Locale pulito e accogliente. La cucina è un vero omaggio ai sapori del territorio: prodotti tipici, freschissimi e piatti deliziosi. Il personale è gentile e attento, sempre sorridente e disponibile. Ottimo anche il rapporto qualità-prezzo. Torneremo sicuramente!

24/09/2025: At over 1,300 meters above sea level, in a bright clearing overlooked by a family of buzzards, you'll find the magnificent Baita dei Faggi. It's located within an old production site that, since 1910, employed many workers cutting the precious beech wood needed to make railway sleepers and gunstocks. In this corner of authentic Calabria where you can reach the stars, Massimo and Silvia tenaciously host travelers with a warm welcome, demonstrating great expertise in their work and a love for the local produce (Pollino truffles, porcini mushrooms, Saracena olive oil).
