08/03/2025: Mi è accaduto, questa mattina, di pranzare al Bar Etoile, all'interno del quale è previsto il servizio di tavola calda, ogni settimana dal lunedì al sabato. In un ambiente pulito e ordinato, nel cuore del centro storico di San Marco Argentano, è possibile gustare e apprezzare le prelibatezze e il cibo squisito preparati, con grande competenza professionale, dallo Chaf Mario. Il cibo, con il servizio al tavolo garantito dai titolari della tavola calda, è raffinato e di eccelsa qualità. Ogni giorno gli avventori della tavola calda possono effettuare la scelta tra due primi piatti, e due secondi a base di carne e di pesce. Il servizio, per la qualità dei piatti offerti ai clienti della tavola calda, ha un costo contenuto e l'atmosfera nel locale è tranquilla, serena e molto rilassante. Il posto giusto per consumare i pasti, durante la meritata pausa dagli impegni di lavoro e da quelli quotidiani. Il mio giudizio, a quanti avranno modo di frequentare la tavola calda, apparirà obiettivo e corrispondente alla realtà. Davvero, un posto dove ritornare e da cui si esce rilassati e soddisfatti. 30/08/2025: The food was all delicious and presented like a Michelin-starred restaurant. The desserts deserve a special mention, as they were top-notch. The service could be improved (the staff were a bit stiff), but I'd still give this place 5 stars, considering how young it is. Congratulations!

28/08/2025: Silvia and Massimo welcomed us with great kindness and treated us to delicious dishes. The fettuccine with porcini mushrooms and truffles was truly excellent, and the beef tartare with truffles and burrata was breathtaking. All this in a completely sustainable environment, with self-generated energy and water straight from the source (and delicious). From now on, it will be a must-visit every time we return to Pollino.

22/08/2025: Located near the aqueduct, the restaurant enjoys a panoramic view. It's particularly beautiful outside, but there are also indoor seating. Excellent pizza and delicious dishes. Good service and a friendly atmosphere.

12/07/2025: Lobster (lobster) with pasta and tomato sauce, a marvel! As a nutritionist, I asked with minimal oil, which they followed. It is enough to ask and insist, if necessary, when restaurateurs do not always understand why. I sometimes take the time to explain that my diet is carbohydrate-protein but fat-free. Not easy to get this principle to be accepted, in the country of olive oil... It was, however, really succulent. Spices release aromas, which do not require oil. I really licked my ass, according to the established expression. My fingers were full... for a dish at only 25 euros! The (magic) lobster with pasta and tomato, a wonder! As a nutritionist, I asked for it with minimal oil, and they respected the rule. Just ask and insist, if necessary, when restaurateurs don't always understand why. Sometimes I take the trouble to explain that my diet is based on carbohydrates and proteins, but without fats. It is not easy to accept this principle, in the land of olive oil... But it was really succulent. Spices release aromas that do not require oil. I licked my mustache, as they say. I had my fingers covered... for a dish for only 25 euros!

16/08/2025: We had lunch on August 15th. The service was decent considering the number of people, but there was a bit of confusion. Unfortunately, the menu wasn't respected and the dishes were reduced to the bare minimum (I've never seen a square centimeter of omelette in any other place). The cruschi in the paccheri with walnut cream were completely non-existent. The other first course with Calabrian black wine consisted of 4 fusilli in a cross. In short, what can I say? Everything was very disappointing, from the appetizer to the dessert; even the tiramisu was frozen. I hope the managers read the review so they can improve the service on holidays.

11/08/2025: I was pleasantly surprised by this place! The staff is friendly, cheerful, and always available to recommend dishes and pairings. (Alessandro, in particular, was able to recommend an excellent beer to accompany my platter.) The food is simply delicious: fresh ingredients, generous portions, and a clear focus on quality. I especially appreciated the perfectly balanced flavors and presentation. Excellent value: here, you pay for quality, and every euro is well spent. I will definitely return and recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and satisfying gastronomic experience!

17/08/2025: They place you just to occupy the free tables and without warning at 9.30pm they start telling you that they have the second shift but the customers are not objects that you seat and then throw them out. You warn them before making them sit down that there is a double shift so as to give the customer the choice whether to sit down or not. If you have been doing this job for 30 years, you are doing it a bit badly, starting from the management of the guests. It's a shame because we would have also tried the desserts but the girls at the entrance were obsessed with the second shift. If we had known that was the case, we wouldn't have even stopped to warn the customers beforehand that they are not just ATMs to make money but people!

22/07/2025: A welcoming restaurant in the center of Praia. Traditional ingredients with a few well-crafted twists. Generous portions. Fairly priced. Attentive and courteous service.

28/08/2025: It's with regret that I can't leave more than one review, for the wine selection, the sandwiches, the fried foods, and the food. Everything is WONDERFUL. Not to mention the hospitality and kindness of the owner and his family, wonderful people with whom it's a real pleasure to chat. Worthy of note: spaghetti with clams, fried calamari and shrimp, and the breaded fetta sandwich—handmade, not the industrial junk they dish out at other places. I'm just sorry that my work stint in Paola will soon take me away from here, because it would have been my favorite place.

20/07/2025: We returned to Lake Ampollino in Sila after four years. We were surprised to find several pleasant businesses open, and many tourists, which doesn't detract from such a beautiful and enjoyable area to visit. We enjoyed the delicacies of the region, particularly Sila, at Bar La Botte, which we hope will grow, even if there are long lines to get in in the future. Delicious, well-prepared food: we chose the set menu of veal morsels, Sila potatoes, mixed roast pork, and pappadelle with wild boar ragù. The staff were welcoming and relaxed; it was a pleasure to sit down and enjoy their dishes. Definitely a must-visit; we'd be back!

20/07/2025: Dall’ingresso alla tavola, tutto è stato perfetto. Locale pulito e accogliente. La cucina è un vero omaggio ai sapori del territorio: prodotti tipici, freschissimi e piatti deliziosi. Il personale è gentile e attento, sempre sorridente e disponibile. Ottimo anche il rapporto qualità-prezzo. Torneremo sicuramente!

05/06/2025: Terrible, I had booked for 9:30 pm, my girlfriend and I, we entered there was no one at the cash register, in fact the employees were at the next table drinking during the service, this was because they had no customers. We asked and they didn't even give us a word. I will never go there again.
