07/08/2024: Historic venue in San Lucido, beautiful structure a stone's throw from the seafront. I had dinner with a group of friends on their recommendation a few days ago. Slightly retro fish cuisine, good hot and cold starters but without any flavor peak. Less tasty first courses, we also tried the dishes of the day. Pasta a little over cooked for my tastes and unrelated flavors. Sorbet to finish. High price in general for offer, service and care of the plating.
30/07/2024: This place has the nicest atmosphere I have ever experienced in Italy. The food was delicious. The pistachio pesto was incredible. And the people working were so friendly and helpful

The staff are good-looking and professional.
We ate three pizzas that were a little crunchy but with good ingredients. Fair price,
5 arancini,
three pizzas 2 minerals and a coke €47.

04/07/2024: Impeccable attention for a comfortable, well-equipped and central apartment. The room's views of the sea and the mountains from the balcony are beautiful. Breakfast is abundant and relaxed, with sweet and savory, on a vine-covered terrace. I was left wanting to try the tavern's cuisine, which looks wonderful, since the owner Francesco works with fresh products (especially fish). The next time you pass through Belmonte, it will be a mandatory stop.
19/06/2024: A Taverna intru u Vicu is undoubtedly one of the most characteristic places on the Calabrian Tyrrhenian coast. Its location in the heart of the historic center of Belmonte Calabro, its garden overlooking the sea and the historic center... are a delight for anyone's eyes.
If we add to this the excellent quality of the restaurant and the wines....

27/08/2024: Lovely clean tidy place.
Hospitality and praise from the owner.
We spent the morning by the pool overlooking the sea and tasted the excellent cakes.
Unfortunately we couldn't stay for lunch because we were already busy but as soon as possible we will try the excellent local products we saw at the table.

15/08/2024: Sergio is truly a fantastic person. He puts his guests at ease by satisfying all their requests. We stayed in his establishment for 15 days and I must say that we had a great time. I used the beach, with authorization obviously, for my night shots of the Milky Way (see photo!) and I had a great time. Absolute tranquility, cleanliness and courtesy. Bar equipped with the possibility of lunch and dinner. Super honest prices in this summer 2023 with prices skyrocketing. Advised!!!

26/07/2024: Cercavamo un posto dove poter mangiare bene e godere di una location fresca e caratteristica!! Soddisfatti in tutto soprattutto dopo aver deliziato con il ‘viaggio d’Ippolito’. Un menu da circa 20 portate davvero tutte buone, oltre ad avere un servizio eccellente e un personale gentilissimo. Lo consiglio a tutti quelli che hanno voglia di mangiare bene a prezzi contenuti, godere di un panorama fa tosto e di un’aria fresca e piacevole.
14/07/2024: The environment is characteristic, the food was excellent, many ancient dishes on the menu. The staff were kind, welcoming and above all enthusiastic about the culinary traditions of the past!!!

21/08/2024: when we arrived there, despite having booked, they made us wait for 20 minutes and then placed us at a table for 8 people... there were 15 of us. after which the time to order was biblical. the prices were honest but the quality of the food was vulgar, except for the rustic potatoes which were the only positive note of an evening to forget. the chips arrived after about 30 minutes accompanied by sauces which again had very little, not even the container. for the sandwiches, however, we waited even longer: we were talking about 11.40 despite having arrived almost two hours earlier. the sandwiches: lightly filled, frozen and looking anything but inviting. all accompanied by a crude and confusing location. the only sweet note was the helpful cashier, I would say almost obligatory given that our receipt was just under 300 euros

18/08/2024: We have been there three times. The food is very good and the staff is courteous. The only flaw is the service, which was extremely slow and disorganised. Several times we had to wait more than half an hour for someone to come take our drink order, and in all that time we weren't even brought water.

18/08/2024: We ate at this restaurant as a stopover on our way to Pizzo, attracted by the positive reviews. I must say that the food is really excellent, fresh fish, but the octopus in particular was amazing, I have never tasted such an octopus, large and very tender, cooked to perfection. Highly recommended.

07/06/2024: Titolari e personale molto educati, gentili e premurosi. Un comportamento che ci ha messo a proprio agio. Il ristorante è comodo, ampio e molto pulito. Sono abituato a frequentare spesso dei ristoranti di prestigio e sono anche un ottimo cuoco. A occhi chiusi posso dire che la cucina è di grande livello. Ho mangiato la miglior pizza di tutta la provincia della Calabria. Genuina, gustosa, grande, croccante e tenera. Il pesce viene cucinato in modo tradizionale ed è ottimo. Non è una critica ma un incentivo. A mio parere dovrebbero avere nel menù più verdure cotte e dessert, tipiche Calabresi. Il rapporto servizio/costo è molto buono. L'Hostaria Antico Borgo lo considero una vera e propria destinazione gastronomica eccezionale. IL MIO VOTO DA 1 A 10 è 9,5. Posso garantire che vi tornerò anche in futuro. Cene impeccabili, servizio carino ed attento! Locale ottimo per chi cerca una cena di qualità in un ambiente accogliente e rilassante. Sicuramente una dei migliori ristoranti che abbia mai provato in tutta Italia!
07/06/2024: The worst place to eat or have an ice cream, if you are not Italian they don't treat you well, the food takes a while, they serve extremely poorly, they hate dogs, they have no respect, they don't care if you are a tourist or you just live in Italy but you are from another country, I will not come here again, I do not recommend it
