14/01/2025: Con Gusto: a pleasant experience with room for growth... On Saturday morning I decide to book for two people at "Con Gusto", a restaurant that already presents itself on the phone with courteous and attentive staff, ready to gather all the information necessary for the reservation. A detail that suggests a certain attention to the customer. Arriving in the evening, in front of the entrance to the restaurant, I am pleased to notice the closed door and the presence of a bell. This detail, although simple, represents in my opinion a good business card: it avoids the constant coming and going of people, maintaining a more intimate and reserved atmosphere. Inside, the room is small but tastefully furnished, revealing a stylistic imprint that goes well with the identity of the restaurant. The staff immediately appears attentive and prompt, a welcome that bodes well for the rest of the evening. We sit down and are immediately served with water, a welcome entrée and an assortment of breadsticks, bread and focaccia, all strictly homemade. We opt for an appetizer to share, two first courses, two glasses of Ribolla and a dessert, also shared. On a culinary level, the quality of the dishes does not disappoint: well prepared, refined and with evidently quality ingredients. However, at the end of the evening, a particular feeling emerges. The restaurant seems to want to emulate a "luxury venue" experience, but some details are still missing to fully achieve that distinctive identity that makes "Con Gusto" an indispensable point of reference. It is as if it were in a transition phase, where the intention is there, but the result must be refined. The bill, 94 euros for what was ordered, is within the norm, although, perhaps, a slightly lower cost (about 10 euros less) would have made the quality-price ratio more balanced. Ultimately, "Con Gusto" is a restaurant that guarantees a good level of cuisine and attentive service, but which still has room for improvement to consolidate its identity. A pleasant experience, which offers a glimpse of potential and future growth.

07/04/2025: I didn't think there were places of this level on the Cosentina coast, I was positively impressed and I think I'll gladly return. The place is located immersed in the beautiful village of Fiumefreddo Bruzio, right near the typical medieval castle perched on top of a hill. The view here is truly stunning. This place, however, is not only enchanting from the point of view of the wonderful setting in which it is located, but also stands out for its elegant, delicate but tasty and well-balanced cuisine, a rainbow of flavours. The place is small, private, intimate, but very welcoming and well furnished. The food is really good, the dishes are wonderful to look at and even more so to taste. Overall, this place won me over.

07/04/2025: It is located among the hidden streets near the Castle of Fiumefreddo Bruzio and this restaurant is a real jewel that surprises at every corner. Perfection begins from the first step inside: the kindness, calmness and elegance of the staff, from the chef to the waiter, create a welcoming and refined atmosphere, where every detail is taken care of with attention. The dishes, truly delicious, are prepared with attention, each ingredient is carefully chosen and the combination of flavors is always balanced and surprising. Cleanliness, both inside and outside, reflects the commitment to taking care of every aspect of the restaurant, making guests feel at ease and pampered. There is a beautiful peaceful environment. This is a place that deserves to be known, far from banal and predictable choices. Everything has its right reason, and there is nothing that doesn't work. We will always happily return, most recently to celebrate my grandmother's birthday, and it was an experience that was truly worth living.

05/06/2025: As usual, it never disappoints. Tasty aperitif and pleasant atmosphere with friendly staff. For years during the Christmas period I have been going there to celebrate Christmas Eve with a good aperitif. And also for this May Day I went to the much loved place. I drank a Cosmopolitan like a god and enjoyed a fabulous aperitif with lasagna. You are the best💯 I confirm what was said. For a quiet evening with my husband, I always choose this place because the food is delicious and the staff is exceptionally kind. The aperitif is the best and the cold coffee is no less, so much so that I also choose them for breakfast on Saturday 😜❤️

31/05/2025: I have been to tavernacolo several times because I consider it one of the best places to eat in cosenza. the food is excellent, the staff is very nice, friendly and super helpful and it is right in the center of corso mazzini. the only flaw: the nduja. I come from vibo valentia and therefore I think I know what I'm talking about, just one piece of advice, change the nduja and your food will be perfect.

27/06/2025: I didn't stay but I went for dinner. Since I'm celiac, they showed special attention, which is very nice. Staff present without being too intrusive, gluten-free pizza excellent!

03/07/2025: Surprise. I finally found a place where I ate divinely. Fragrant pinsa with excellent ingredients. Separation of flavors with a perfect balance... it will surely become my reference place when I come to Calabria in the future... compliments to the Staff.

16/06/2025: Maybe you're going to Sila....or maybe you've been there and you're on your way back. Then you absolutely have to stop there. Clean environment, typical and non-typical dishes and above all excellent service. The best Pinsa can only be found at Giusto Gusto. Trust me.

14/06/2025: The stay at the Befora Resort confirmed the high expectations of quality and hospitality. The environment was conceived with a refined and sober aesthetic, where every architectural and furnishing detail reflects an authentic care for taste and discretion. The atmosphere is marked by a precious quiet, never forced, which makes the stay particularly regenerating. The wellness area is managed with skill and measure: nothing excessively exhibited, everything consistent with a vision of well-being that favors the quality of the experience over spectacularization. Breakfast was a true moment of pleasure. The approach was immediately attentive, with an initial welcome service consisting of small dishes, offered without any request. The à la carte selection, wide and well-calibrated, was able to offer variety without ever slipping into excess. The staff was particularly attentive and available, always elegant and pleasant for every interaction. In short, the Befora Resort does not chase luxury: it embodies it naturally. A structure that offers privacy, excellence and sobriety — qualities that are increasingly rare even among high-level destinations.

29/05/2025: Well-kept location, immersed in the greenery of the Sila. Highly qualified, prepared and friendly staff. Compliments to the bistro, for the class and elegance in the service, as well as for the cuisine that surprised me with well-prepared dishes. The rooms also praise attention to detail, cleanliness and comfort.

04/05/2025: I ended up at Giò’s pub after walking around Scalia a bit trying to find something for dinner. In Italy, everything Seems to fall into two categories, street food or fine dining. As soon as you walk into Giò’s, you notice the casual atmosphere. Families and young people enjoying time together with burgers and food free of pretense. I had the jalapeño poppers and a burger that I almost couldn’t finish. The topper? Ice. I got a glass of ice for my Coke. Lol, as an Americano it’s the small things in Italy that matter. I really enjoyed the energy of the customers and the service kept up with a full house. Bravo!

31/05/2025: What can I say about Il Dragone in Corso Mediterraneo? Simply exceptional! If you are looking for a superior quality pizza or pinsa, this is the place to be. Pinsa is their real specialty: a unique gastronomic experience, crunchy and tasty, absolutely worth trying. A special applause goes to Francesco, the owner of Il Dragone and the master of pinsa, always available and friendly. And let's not forget the lady, part of the staff, who welcomes everyone with a smile and kindness. Il Dragone is not only an excellent restaurant, but a place where the quality of the food is combined with extraordinary service and a warm welcome. Highly recommended!
