10/12/2025: After passing by several times, I decided to stop and try this restaurant. I'd heard good things about it, and the reviews were good. Since we hadn't made a reservation, we had to wait for a table, but the wait wasn't long. We tried several dishes, all of which were delicious and well-prepared.

30/12/2025: Historic bar opposite the church, in the square. Very friendly staff, excellent coffee and cappuccino, today served with a shot of whipped cream. Excellent croissants, good gelato.

02/02/2026: The location is a bit basic, but the service is quick and friendly. They offer sushi dishes for lunch, although the menu also includes well-made Chinese dishes. The ACE lunch menu is €13.90 + €1.50 cover charge, excluding change, also on Saturdays and Sundays. It's a good deal...you won't be disappointed.

26/08/2025: A truly charming place, this elegant inn nestled in an ancient farming village in the Collio Friulano region, just a stone's throw from Gorizia, near the splendid city of Aquileia and the Grado lagoon. Everything is perfect, from the meticulously designed furnishings in both the rooms and common areas to the friendly staff, attentive to guests' every need and full of valuable local information. The lush garden offers rare moments of relaxation, and the wine bar, where you can enjoy homemade wines, offers pleasant breaks, including aperitifs and organic tastings. It's a true pleasure to find establishments where the principles of hospitality are so alive. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend it!

25/07/2025: The staff, especially Mr. Lorenzo, were outstanding, friendly, and helpful. The room was simple but very clean and well-maintained, as was the bathroom. The simple dinner was delicious, especially when accompanied by an excellent Merlot from the hotel's own vineyard. We were in an emergency situation due to car trouble, and the staff's assistance was simply superb and deserves special thanks.

15/08/2025: Wonderful! It was lovely to see how skilled and professional the work is here! The swing with which the man picked up the plates was almost like dancing! A beautiful sight. The cappuccino was delicious! The cakes were ABSOLUTELY outstanding! Dried fruit of the highest quality! A MUST-STOP visit if you're in Gorizia 🙂

08/02/2026: A historic place in the Monfalcone area, but unfortunately, I'll say it right away: it's a bit poorly managed. Good selection of beers, friendly but sometimes a bit listless staff, decent food (the pleskavica sandwich is far from Balkan-quality), and the atmosphere is truly charming. All in wood, it feels like a mountain cabin. It's a real shame, because with a little more effort, it could be a very popular place. Instead, I've been there three times recently, always half empty. I even wanted to go on a Saturday night (the place closes at 11 PM, which seems a bit early for a beer hall), so I showed up with three friends at 10:30 PM and the bartender greeted us, saying they were closing because there weren't any people and so they wouldn't let us in. I think this kind of management is detrimental, first and foremost, to the place itself. I truly hope things like this never happen again, otherwise I'll be forced to stop going. And it's a shame, as I said the place is really nice and has beautiful decor.

02/03/2026: My boyfriend was skeptical when he saw the menu because of the prices. He thought the quality was low, but he was very happy and satisfied.

25/01/2026: Terrible! A dining room with absolutely no attention to detail. Rude and rude waiter. Wrong orders. Terrible food, including the incredibly salty pizza. I went there because I was invited, and I'll never set foot there again (also because the floor was so greasy I could barely stand).

05/01/2026: The restaurant is run solely by the owner, and that says a lot about the atmosphere. It's located in a hamlet in the municipality of Staranzano, easily accessible. It's popular with young and old alike, looking for a simple yet welcoming place in the Bassa. Worth a visit before or after dinner.

18/12/2025: This is a one man show. Small kitchen and bar with a few tables. It specializes in local pork dishes and beer. The owner/operator is friendly, generous, very hospitable, and works hard to run everything. He is fluent in English but hard of hearing. This place is relaxing, good for families, and locals. Open 17:00-22:00. Cash only.
