23/03/2026: I'd been meaning to dine at this historic restaurant for a while, and the opportunity came during a visit to the splendid Basaglia exhibition in Gorizia. Like all interesting places, it's not easy to get to, but once you arrive, it offers all the beauty and goodness you've been looking for. Traditional dishes are expertly prepared, sometimes with a sublime twist. There's an excellent selection of wines by the glass (I think the most extensive I've ever seen in a restaurant), as well as beers and, for those who still have some, spirits, as if there were no tomorrow, as if there were no tortuous road back (you can, however, stay there). The staff is very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. A highly recommended experience.

07/02/2026: Located in a secluded but easily accessible location. Good quality cuisine featuring regional products with a modern twist, and especially for local wines, a well-stocked cellar. Service is competent and discreet. Prices aren't quite like an inn. Nice dining room, but nothing memorable. Excellent cleanliness, easy parking inside the building. Perhaps our very high expectations have led me to give it 4 stars rather than 5, but it's always a matter of personal taste.

20/03/2026: Gelateria Gioiosa: My "cheat day" in Grado ​As a Grado resident, you know it well: we have as many ice cream shops as you want, but when the fateful "cheat day" arrives and I crave something truly ignorant and indulgent, I head straight to Gelateria Gioiosa. ​My ritual: Dubai Chocolate (and nothing else) ​There's no point beating around the bush, I come here for one specific reason: Dubai Chocolate. Guys, if you want to understand what true indulgence is, you have to try it. It's the flavor I always get: that crazy mix of chocolate, the crunch of pistachio, and that texture that fills your palate... it's out of this world. For me, if there's no Dubai Chocolate, it's not a true cheat day. ​Because it's the best for those who want to "overdo it" ​Here, gelato is a complete experience. It's not your usual light cone; They're full-bodied flavors, rich in variety and ingredients you can taste under your teeth. La Gioiosa has this ability to dare with unique combinations that you won't find anywhere else on the island. It's the ideal place if you're tired of the same old flavors and want something that makes you say "Wow" with every spoonful. ​A Local's Verdict ​For me, La Gioiosa is the prize of the week. I go there because I know the gelato there never disappoints and the quality of the ingredients is evident. 14/02/2026: This was my first time here. First of all, I appreciate the parking next to the restaurant, reserved for customers only. The atmosphere is that of a high-end trattoria: well-kept, warm, and welcoming. The variety of dishes offered is good (keeping in mind that it's not logical to expect a very extensive menu from a trattoria), with a focus on local and seasonal produce. For my appetizer, I had an off-menu item that I highly recommend: baked radicchio with horseradish, pears, and Montasio cheese! For my main course, I shared a rib-eye steak with my "colleague" of the evening: excellent meat, cooked practically perfectly. At the table, the plate was placed on a hot stone to maintain the meat's temperature: not everyone does this! Spinach and bruade were served as side dishes. All very good! I really appreciated some of the flavors that characterize the local cuisine: the spiciness of the horseradish, the acidity of the bruade. The staff is courteous and attentive. Wait times are minimal. The bill was in line with expectations, but one small point: given the size of the total, a small discount of €1.70 could have been considered just to round out the total. Recommended if you're in the area; worth a visit.

28/01/2026: Restaurant and bar in the center of Corona, Mariano del Friuli. Family-run. Specializing in game. Excellent gnocchi with wild boar ragù. Various regional wines available to accompany the dishes. Excellent homemade desserts. Good selection of digestives. Also a tobacconist, selling cigarettes and scratch cards.

19/02/2026: A family-run restaurant, surrounded by nature on the eastern border with Slovenia, perfect for large lunches. The staff is very attentive and helpful, the menu is varied and consistently excellent, and the prices are reasonable. Highly recommended.
