11/07/2025: Everything at Lokanda Devetak embodies the value of 'hospitality'. One truly feels like a guest. There is a genuine enthusiasm for sharing the region's food and wine (about which the owners give expert recommendations). The rooms are perfectly appointed, rustic and traditional but comfortable. I love Friuli-VG and when I return to explore the fascinating Karst and Gorizia region further, I would stay and eat at Lokanda Devetak again; I have already recommended it to others.

26/07/2025: Best granita in Grado! I tried the Sicilian pistachio and almond granita and I have to say, it was AMAZING! Authentic flavors and not too sugary! You can even taste the almond and pistachio pieces!! Delicious!

Everything tasted excellent. We enjoyed it very much. In our opinion, the best restaurant in Gradisca.

15/07/2025: This time, it wasn't quite as good. The food was very good, but that "wow" taste sensation was missing. It's strange that the whole table has to eat a set menu, with no choice at all. That's very unusual. The wine list is correspondingly huge, but the prices aren't exactly cheap anymore. It used to be better...

18/05/2025: In my opinion the food is nothing special. The service needs to be reviewed. I understand the rush hour of the evening service, but it is difficult to accept that the chosen wine arrives well after the appetizers and that the courses, for a table of two people, do not arrive together, thus finding one person eating first and then the other. Furthermore, if the menu is quite limited you have to make sure you have everything on the menu. Very friendly staff.

27/07/2025: Se passi per Gorizia non puoi non fermarti e mangiare da Gianni. Arrivati ci hanno accolto con gentilezza e subito ci hanno fatto accomodare, ogni tavolo trova il menù appeso alla parete sul proprio posto non si sbaglia! Chiaramente guardandoci i torno rimaniamo scioccati dalle porzioni dei vicini, optiamo per la famosissima lyublyanska (sapendo già che sarebbe stata anche il pranzo a casa del giorno dopo) e per un piatto di gnocchi con sugo goulash. Tutto buono buono. Consigliamo vivamente sia per la qualità, per la quantità e per i prezzi. Ottima posto!

02/07/2025: Noi a Cormons i nostri amici a Trieste . Decidiamo di trovarci a cena a mezza strada a Monfalcone e tiriamo i dadi scegliendo un ristorante che nessuno conosceva. Sorpresa in una zona un po’ improbabile troviamo un piccolo ristorante gestito con competenza e simpatia ! Stefano in cucina e Margherita la moglie in sala . Partiamo da un insalata di mare così fresca e sapida che non mi capitava da anni idem per i molluschi gratinati! I primi speciali tagliolini al Granporro e gli spaghetti al nero con le seppie .Sul pesce non si scherza spigole rombi ombrine e molto altro tutto pescato nel golfo. Buoni anche i dolci . Servizio attento e prezzi più che ragionevoli. Lo consiglio senza remore e considerato il rapporto qualità e prezzo gli assegno senza esitazione un punteggio molto alto. All’attivo anche il parcheggio comodo e ben posizionato.

21/06/2025: Non fatevi ingannare dal luogo in cui si trova il ristorante: dentro c'è un altro mondo. Si è accolti cortesemente e si mangia molto bene: ottima la materia prima e il rapporto qualità/quantità/prezzo. Menù esclusivamente a base di pesce. Ai bambini vengono anche dati dei pennarelli: alla fine scopri anche un'artista a tavola!

21/07/2025: As a Dutch person, I didn't enjoy the food, but otherwise, the service was good. If you're more cultured, you might want to try this. If, like me, you prefer the simple pizza and pasta you're used to in the Netherlands, this probably isn't the place for you.
