The ambiance itself is very simple... dated decor... nothing fancy... you come here to eat... and lots of it! The menu is extensive... so much stuff! The Ljubljanska is the star... but also the calamari... the pasta... in short, a triumph of food, all very good and... lots of it! Incredibly generous portions but still all very tasty. The simplicity of the ambiance immediately puts you at ease... the staff is very kind and always present! Congratulations. I drove an hour but it was worth it. See you next time!

A truly authentic experience in Gorizia. A very good 'three-in-one' first course! The tiramisu is wonderful! I recommend it!

I had already saved this place simply by chance without taking the reviews into consideration. Today, I can now say that I don't regret at all that I stopped to eat. We went to see Gorizia with its castle, the Data Tunnel and we decided to stop there. Valla penna gentlemen, you eat very well at normal prices. I recommend it to everyone....

Trattoria like in days gone by. Very fast service. Delicious food and excellent prices. Very, very generous portions. It's hard to finish both first and second courses. Excellent.

Unmatched value for money! Typical menu of exceptional quality, generous portions, super fast service, friendly, helpful, and welcoming staff! You have to book well in advance... The only downside is that it's 120km from my house, but I'm more than happy to make the trip! 💪💪

I've been to this trattoria several times and have never been disappointed: everything is delicious, the portions are huge, the food is excellent, the service is very fast, and the prices are reasonable. The takeout service is also phenomenal. If we really have to nitpick, it's that the restaurant is very hot, both in summer and winter.
