12/08/2025: Unfortunately, I have to write this review. The place is located in a pleasant seaside area, albeit facing the road. I requested a table with more air and a view, but was denied, saying all the tables were booked, which was absolutely not true. Several tables were available. (Lies to customers who don't want to work a little more shouldn't be told.) I then requested that the pasta dish be prepared in a larger quantity. This request was not fulfilled. (Add 50 grams more pasta, it doesn't cost anything...) I would have paid even more, but evidently there was no interest in fulfilling the customer's requests. Furthermore, when the mistake of lying about the availability of tables and the request for a larger portion was pointed out, I requested a complimentary digestive to settle the matter amicably. The customer's emotional state was not taken into consideration, and payment for the digestive was requested after having served it with yet another deception of words.
I paid as requested.
In short, waiters who should be more attentive to customers are needed, and greater attention to requests is due, in addition to accountability for their behavior, which has not happened.
Gentlemen, I feel sorry for the owner, but the staff deserves a dressing down to maintain greater customer respect.

11/08/2025: The worst service, I've ever had in my whole life. The waiter walked away a few times without answering our questions. Food is nothing special. Fish tasted like from the freezer.

11/05/2025: Very familiar and simple environment, I liked it. The service was excellent, the girls who served the table were very nice and...
professional. Food is the sore point. The strawberry risotto was very dry. In the appetizers, some puff pastry croutons, we found several pieces of baking paper and it was difficult to understand what they were made of (except by reading the menu). The kid and pasta are the best dishes.
07/03/2025: Invited to a dinner in this place which I found simple in its furnishings in the dining rooms. The dishes we chose were good and the quantity was right. The price was very good because we spent 22 euros per person. I was not satisfied with the fact that the vegetables (radicchio or mixed vegetables) are already seasoned and brought to the customer. I don't like vinegar and had to ask for a new portion without seasoning.

15/07/2025: We had lunch inside. There was also seating outside, but it was a hot day. The first course was delicious and plentiful, the frico was excellent, and the prosciutto melted in your mouth. The house wine was good.
14/07/2025: A BIT OF LUCK WITH THE FOOD. WE HAD PROSCIUTTO CRUDO SAN. UNFORTUNATELY, only the cut had a lot of fat. At the table next to us, it looked normal. When we politely pointed it out, we weren't served again. WHAT A PITY, it could definitely be done much better.

18/05/2025: First of all, it must be said that the service here was excellent, as was the (modern) atmosphere, the bread, and the choice of wines by the glass (as well as the pairings). The prices seem more than reasonable for the level of cuisine that the restaurant aims to offer.
As for the cuisine, there are perhaps a few things to complain about.
The amuse-bouche/welcome plate: simply adding a little za'atar or pepper to a steamed beetroot and celeriac does not transform them into a dish (not even a welcome one), neither in terms of taste nor in terms of appearance.
The pasta with blue crab bisque: I understand that no one likes to clean the crab, but simply making a bisque without even recovering the meat seems like a shame and a waste to me. And it is even more of a shame to serve the so-called bisque with a pasta that is not al dente but actually crunchy.
The amberjack with bok choy: here, unfortunately, we are bordering on the limit of acceptable. Soft skin, overcooked fish—stringy effect that is not alleviated by the lack of any sauce. Speaking of sauces, the choice of soy sauce for the bok choy turns out to be unoriginal.
The quail: excellent choice of raw material, not very easy to find in non-starred restaurants. Too bad, however, for the cooking of the breasts, on which the skin remained white (and the fat intact instead of being melted). Impeccable, however, the cooking of the wings. The combination with the sweetness of the dates is also good, although I would have hoped for more acidity to freshen the dish—a task that here is entrusted to the puntarelle, which however get lost in the sweetish sauce.
In short, a disappointment, unfortunately, from a culinary point of view. From a place and a chef like that I would have expected more technical expertise and innovation. That said, the environment together with the service remain very pleasant, and the bread together with the selection of wines deserve applause.
17/05/2025: Bisogna dire innanzitutto che il servizio qui è stato ottimo, come anche l'atmosfera (moderna), il pane, e la scelta di vini al calice (come anche gli abbinamenti degli stessi). I prezzi mi sembrano più che ragionevoli rispetto al livello di cucina che il ristorante mira a proporre.
Per quanto riguarda la cucina, ci sarebbero forse alcune cose da ridire.
L'amuse-bouche/piatto di benvenuto: aggiungere semplicemente un po' di za'atar o di pepe a una barbabietola e un sedano rapa al vapore non li trasforma in piatto (neanche di benvenuto), né in termini di gusto, né in termini di apparenza.
La pasta con la bisque di granchio blu: capisco che nessuna ama pulire il granchio, ma farne semplicemente una bisque senza neanche recuperarne la carne mi sembra un peccato e uno spreco. Ed è ancora più un peccato servire la soprannominata bisque con una pasta che non è al dente ma addirittura croccante.
La ricciola col bok choy: qui purtroppo si rasenta il limite dell'accettabile. Pelle molle, pesce stracotto—effetto stopposo che non viene alleviato dall'assenza di qualsiasi salsa. A proposito di salse, la scelta della salsa di soia per il bok choy si rivela poco originale.
La quaglia: ottima scelta di materia prima, non facilissima da trovare in ristoranti non-stellati. Peccato, invece, per la cottura dei petti, sui quali la pelle è rimasta bianca (e il grasso integro invece di essere sciolto). Impeccabile, invece, la cottura delle alette. Buono anche l'abbinamento con la dolcezza dei datteri, benché mi sarei augurato una maggiore acidità per rinfrescare il piatto—compito che qui viene affidato alle puntarelle, che però si perdono nella salsa dolciastra.
Insomma, una delusione, purtroppo, dal punto di vista culinario. Da un posto e da uno chef del genere mi sarei aspettato più perizia tecnica e innovazione. Detto ciò, l'ambiente insieme al servizio rimangono molto gradevole, e il pane insieme alla selezioni di vini meritano un applauso.

03/05/2025: They were looking for a sandwich shop and we decided to come here, attracted by the menu. So, on a Saturday evening in May, we went there to try the place, albeit without a reservation. The place was quiet around 7.30pm. The old-fashioned furnishings and outdoor spaces are interesting.
We were welcomed and served by a very kind boy who was also helpful in recommending a sandwich. We had a lumberjack and an OCB burger, with mozzarella as a starter. The sandwiches were nice large, well filled and served with chips. The cover charge also includes 4 different sauces brought to the table.
Overall it was a good experience, we will probably go back and I recommend you try it ✌️✅️

I came here for three times already! If you want to have a quick and small lunch, just come! If you want to have a nice pizza, an aperitivo, just come! The atmosphere is great. The service is also very cute. Clean and tidy!

23/06/2025: Eravamo un gruppo di colleghi di passaggio per Cordenons. I proprietari sono stati molto gentili, nonostante il poco preavviso ci hanno preparato una bella tavolata. Abbiamo preso pizza e birra, antipasti calabresi, amaro e dolce. Tutto perfetto ,siamo stati veramente bene, prezzi moderati

26/05/2025: My wife and I stopped at this cozy bar while walking around the city with the expected Git and had a great cappuccino. The waitress was very friendly and brought us refreshing sparkling water in addition to our coffee.

11/06/2025: Ci siamo fermati dopo un paio di mesi in questo splendido Ristorante con mia moglie.
Abbiamo ordinato il menu “ Mare” ed era semplicemente squisito. Ogni piatto preparato con tanta cura e profesionalita.
Il personale e’ molto cordiale e professionale. Mi chiedo soltanto una domanda dove sono gli ispettori Michelin ?
Secondo mia opinione dovrebbe essere minilo nel Michelin guide.

06/06/2025: No puedo agradecer lo suficiente al personal de Chimera di Bacco. Me llevé a mi marido aquí para celebrar su 70 cumpleaños y con el tiempo me puse un poco nervioso por ello porque algunas de las críticas no fueron tan buenas como quería que fueran. Hubiera sido un terrible error cancelar. Tuvimos una noche fantástica. El servicio fue impecable. La cesta de pan, la bolsa de diversión, el pre-postre y los petit fours eran todas cosas que no esperábamos que consiguiéramos. Además, tuvimos dos entrantes, dos platos principales y un postre. Incluso se acordaron de poner una vela azul en un pequeño soporte azul en el plato de postre para mi marido - lo dulce que es esto. La camarera le susurró "feliz cumpleaños" al oído y al final de la noche el patrón también se acercó para desearle un feliz cumpleaños. Quítate el sombrero a los chefs de la cocina - el sabor de la comida era excepcional - por mucho la mejor comida que tuvimos mientras estábamos en Trieste. Cenamos a las 7 y yo estaba un poco preocupado porque no había nadie más en el restaurante, pero a las 8 cada mesa estaba ocupada. Tuvimos aperos en Harry's Bar, así que solo tuvimos una botella de vino tinto con nuestra comida y fue perfecto. Gracias a todo el personal de Chimera di Bacco - ya he recomendado su restaurante a los amigos que viajan a Trieste.

04/08/2025: We were recommended this place by Italians. But it's very strange. It disgraces the pizza dish. There was mold in one piece.
Addition after replying to the review: Yes, there was mold only in one piece, and not on the whole piece, consisting of 5 pieces. It was found on the 3rd of 5 pieces. So, 2.5 pieces of this type of pizza remained. But this doesn't change the essence of the matter. In response to the mention of mold, the seller said that it was impossible. But even by the smell it was clear.
02/08/2025: The most unique flavor combinations on pizza! If you’re in Udine I can’t recommend enough to give delicious experience to your taste buds!
