22/04/2025: Really pleasant lunch at Nuoitas. Excellent cuisine, authentic and without too many frills: real flavours, refined and sincere dishes. The place is welcoming, you immediately feel at ease. The beer is also excellent, perfect to accompany the dishes. A stop not to be missed if you are in the area!

19/02/2025: Siamo stati qui per San Valentino. Il menù era fisso con 4 portate. Tutto delizioso. Io non potevo mangiare uno dei piatti e sono stati gentilissimi a propormi altro. Prezzo assolutamente adeguato alla qualità dei piatti. Pasta con astice mio piatto preferito. Personale professionale e gentile. Ci torneremo!

07/06/2025: HUNTING EXPERIENCE I booked the table the night before on the online site, providing my credit card details, and was warned that if I didn't show up they would charge me the sum of Euro 75. I arrived promptly at the restaurant and was seated at a completely bare table and was brought a bottle of water. I waited 40 minutes and no one arrived.. Impatient, I turned to the Maitre who in a hasty tone told me that the water was on the house and that due to a problem they couldn't let me have dinner, in fact they shouldn't have even let me sit down... so why leave me waiting for 40 minutes without any communication? Maybe a phone call before arriving would have been enough, since I had left my contact details when booking... Unfortunately I couldn't have dinner, and I was rudely sent away, thanks anyway for the generous offer of the bottle of water... maybe to apologize for the inconvenience they could at least have offered me an aperitif (I was alone). The service at this restaurant and the handling of the "problem" they had that evening is mind-blowing...

06/06/2025: I don't usually leave reviews. Here I have to. I arrived for lunch with a colleague at 2 pm. I asked if I could have lunch. I was told yes. From then on, a series of pressures from the Maître d'. A tall, well-built man who I discovered had been there for a short time. I asked if I could have the wine list, he told me that we had to order first. And quickly. Because the kitchen had to close. A series of jokes made to me, like telling my colleague that women take a long time to choose... (3 minutes 3) In the end he made me take what he wanted due to lack of tranquility. He sat at the table and never left. Exhausting. Forgot to bring us the wine. Which then took care of it, the wonderful boys and girls for whom I gave 4 stars to do this and more, otherwise I would have given 1. I'll leave out other details because I would go on too long. In short, everything is fine. But the restaurant is also and above all made by the staff. If it weren't for the other guys I would have gotten up and left.

31/05/2025: You don't even arrive and the waitress is rude when you enter saying you have booked. The same waitress was walking around the place all evening in a nervous manner, raising her voice towards her colleagues, creating a not very nice atmosphere. A restaurant that wants to seem exclusive, but that gets lost in a sea of ​​pretensions and unjustified prices. Never again

20/05/2025: A Trieste in 2 coppie di amici x un fine settimana lungo. Buonissima cucina di pesce, assolutamente fresco . Locale prevalentemente frequentato -così mi è parso - da clientela locale . Ottima accoglienza riservataci dal vice del titolare , molto attento così come tutto lo staff . Non assegno 5 stelle solo perché il locale - nonostante diversi accorgimenti come ci è stato spiegato - risulta parecchio rumoroso ; ma la bontà dei piatti proposti fa passare la cosa in secondo piano . Complimenti !

03/06/2025: I stopped at this restaurant after visiting Grotta Gigante, and only asked for a glass of wine. Well, my glass came with two big slices of pizza and a bowl of potato chips! Amazingly, the second glass came with even more pizza! What a perfect place to have lunch for 7 euros :-)

02/06/2025: More than once we have eaten at this little restaurant, both in groups and as a couple and each time it has been a pleasure to be welcomed and always feel welcome, even with our dog Eugenia. Kind service and truly excellent dishes. I recommend it if you are not looking for sophisticated environments but a welcoming homely simplicity.

05/06/2025: We went to Bar Urbanis a couple of times for lunch. This is one of those old oozing with history bars in Trieste. Good drinks, basic bar food. A great place to relax for a while. There is a lot of seating outdoors but we enjoyed the main room just inside.

30/05/2025: Cibo ottimo e prezzi onesti. Le porzioni sono decisamente abbondanti, ci siamo lasciati trasportare dal menù e abbiamo ordinato più di quello che siamo riusciti a mangiare, ma era tutto buonissimo anche scaldato il giorno dopo.

06/01/2025: Seguendo i consigli di TripAdvisor, pranzo domenicale con la famiglia in un ambiente rustico e familiare, che ricorda la classica taverna friulana di casa, con alle pareti tanti attrezzi di lavoro artigianale di un tempo. Bellissimo e funzionale lo"Spolert" in muratura. Locale pieno, di gruppi familiari e/o di amici. Menù con i piatti della tradizione friulana con alcune varianti per i primi di gnocchi. Buona qualità delle pietanze e porzioni veramente abbondanti, tant'è che alla fine del pranzo, quello che non si è riusciti a consumare, ci è stato messo in vaschetta per l'asporto. Prezzi onestissimi. Abbiamo apprezzato gli gnocchi allo stracchino, salsiccia e noci ed il frico con la polenta abbrustolita. Buone anche le patatine fritte. Il servizio è discreto ed attento. Da consigliare. Da confermare e condividere gli ottimi giudizi postati su TripAdvisor.
