10/09/2025: It's definitely a good restaurant for dinner, but not for lunch! And it should be posted online that for lunch, there's only a workers' menu with smaller portions and simple dishes. We wanted a traditional meal, and we ended up with fusilli with meat sauce.

17/11/2025: Excellent traditional Trieste and Istrian-Venetian cuisine, plenty of seating both inside and outside under a beautiful kiwi pergola, daily specials, and a grill. The owner welcomes you into a family atmosphere and makes you feel at home. Ample parking, even for trucks. I had a really good time.

14/11/2025: Mediocre food at Michelin-starred prices, served in a dimly heated room with plastic garden chairs and paper placemats. When we left, we realized why we were the only ones there for lunch.

The only thing that's wrong is the limit on the number of dishes per person (5), and once you've finished your order, you have to wait 10 minutes to place a new order. A huge waste of time, especially for those who want to eat a little faster. It would be convenient to increase the number of dishes per person to 7. 20/08/2025: After the renovation, the restaurant is very beautiful and the food is good. I tried many dishes, including uramaki, temaki, udon, meat and fish ravioli, and orange chicken, and they were all satisfying. The service was quick and very friendly. I recommend stopping by.

11/04/2025: The dinner was definitely good, but a friend asked for a cut of meat and they didn't have it. My friend and I both wanted a fish dish, and in the end we had to toss because they only had one. I had meatballs, which weren't bad, but to call them salty was an understatement. The wine by the glass was limited. Everything was well presented, but I don't think we'll be back.

02/03/2025: Before leaving for Italy, I was looking for a restaurant where I could eat local food. I can't stand "touristy" food. The restaurant was recommended to me at the Da Sisi Hotel, where I was staying. Tired after traveling 1,000 km, I wondered if I'd even be able to eat anything. At the entrance, I was greeted by a waitress. I guess I didn't look like a fan of Italian cuisine, because after presenting the set menu for that evening, based on local traditions, she suggested they could prepare something different. Of course, I happily ordered the local set menu. The food was exceptionally delicious, and the service was friendly and patient—the waitress explained each dish. The restaurant is worth recommending, because I would have to try hard to find a flaw. My culinary dream has come true. Thank you very much, I will definitely visit you on my next visit.

21/07/2025: Traditional hospitality, excellent beer, fantastic appetizers: it's worth stopping even just for a coffee! A stop that won't leave a bad taste in your mouth... unless you ordered one!

18/12/2025: This is a one man show. Small kitchen and bar with a few tables. It specializes in local pork dishes and beer. The owner/operator is friendly, generous, very hospitable, and works hard to run everything. He is fluent in English but hard of hearing. This place is relaxing, good for families, and locals. Open 17:00-22:00. Cash only.

09/11/2025: Excellent beer that pairs well with boiled meats and sandwiches. A rustic tavern where you can enjoy a delicious "Ciacola" with the always friendly and welcoming "oste." For relaxing moments.

02/11/2025: While visiting my son we stopped here for a cappuccino. Probably was the best cappuccino I've ever had. Great service. The lady behind the counter was amazing even though we didn't speak the same language. Highly recommend stopping here.

19/09/2025: Great fish and seafood dishes at sensational prices. Vegetarian and meat dishes are also available. The house wine is excellent. Since the new takeover, this has been an outstanding restaurant. A 100% recommendation.

15/09/2025: We visited La Maranese twice. Every dish was excellent. Good quality, finely prepared. The house wine pairs perfectly with the fish and seafood dishes. The price is reasonable. We appreciate the quiet location near the marina and will definitely return.

22/09/2025: Must try! I can't say enough about every dish we tried. We'll definitely be back to try the main courses, as the appetizers and first courses completely satisfied our palates. Spectacular ravioli! Highly recommended.
