10/10/2025: We've been frequenting Forni for a long time now. Nuoitas, a historic restaurant, is always a great choice. The super friendly and efficient staff serves delicious local dishes that convey the feeling of well-being. I regret not taking photos of the plating, but it was too tempting to wait. Needless to say, I can't wait to return. 5 stars is perhaps an understatement.
28/09/2025: An excellent place to spend a peaceful holiday in a setting nestled in the Dolomites. Silence reigns supreme throughout the residence. Excellent service, friendliness, and hospitality. Delicious traditional Friulian food, 5 stars for the irresistible sausage and mushroom fridge.

Poorly sealed osomaki, incomprehensible shaped uramaki, you pick them up and everything falls apart. There's not much choice, 4 types PERIOD.
I thought they were giving the surimi away because it's practically all broken, poor quality fish, served very cold. Anyone who wrote positive reviews is either a relative or hasn't eaten sushi.
I'm truly sorry for the owners, but I'd close tonight.
Don't come, highly discouraged.
I'd tell the owners to reconsider the quality and preparation.

27/11/2025: So, this was my first sushi place, and it made me love sushi. The service is good, although a little slow because the menu is paper, not digital. The atmosphere is beautiful, even if a little dark, but otherwise it's beautiful.

14/12/2025: ...a typical Trieste place where you can enjoy an aperitif or a buffet. The boiled meat dishes are recommended, and reservations are recommended.
The three of us had a Siora Rosa platter and two mixed boiled meats with sauerkraut, mustard, and horseradish, plus a baked potato and two desserts, water, wine, coffee, and grappa for €87.
14/12/2025: I took some people from Veneto for lunch, hoping the food would be good... Instead, we couldn't even digest it. Spicy and unpleasant goulash, flavorless gnocchi. Potatoes in tecia were underseasoned and undereaten, ham in a crust was nothing special. The wine by the glass was sour! I'm so sorry, but we didn't have a good time at all.

A historic restaurant overlooking a busy thoroughfare, quaint, small, but very charming. We tried three types of bruschetta, delicious, plentiful, with perfect pairings...truly delicious! (Another one with the eggplant.) I would recommend a larger portion of bread to better enjoy the bruschetta with your hands. Thank you 😉

The waiters worked efficiently and promptly, minimizing the wait time between ordering and receiving dishes. The staff was friendly and ready to answer any questions about the menu and offer recommendations.

Mr. Renzo's Spaghetti a Go Go

20/08/2025: A very pleasant surprise: traditional dishes are well-prepared and plentiful. The homemade gnocchi with various seafood sauces are sublime. Highly recommended, but be careful with reservations given the small size of the place. P.S. Unfortunately, I didn't manage to finish the gnocchi with prawns... It usually never ends like that!
19/08/2025: Renzo is a character, friendly, joking, he makes you feel at home, the location is beautiful and welcoming, the menu is very fresh fish, nothing frozen, not even vegetables, in fact there is no à la carte menu it depends on what fresh is found, the first courses are abundant, the price is adequate, we know that good fish is expensive especially if it is the catch of the day, overall an excellent opinion
