26/07/2025: We recently had lunch at this restaurant and were generally satisfied 👍. Arriving around 12:00 🕛 after having spotted the restaurant by car 🚘, we asked if we could sit down; at that point we were asked if we preferred a veranda or a completely outdoor setting. Opting for the latter, we then waited for a table to be prepared for us next to those already reserved 📞. Browsing the menu 📋, we immediately noted the deliciousness of the various options, finally choosing two second courses (lamb chops on mint and pea puree and cod in squid ink with green asparagus) accompanied by two portions of chips 🍟. To complete the order, we also ordered a small beer 🍺, a 0.75-liter bottle of sparkling water 💧, and a glass of Cabernet Franc 🍷, followed by two coffees ☕. Everything was absolutely tasty 😋 and well-cooked, and the choreography of the dishes was also excellent 👌. The staff were very kind and friendly, from the manager 🧑🏻 who welcomed us to the various girls 👩🏻👩🏼 who then served us. However, I must make a comment regarding the wait times and, more generally, the organizational aspect: if, initially, everything went well, then something stopped working... we waited over half an hour for the coffees, while the desserts 🍰, despite repeated requests, never even arrived. Not that it was the end of the world, in fact the rating remains largely positive 👍, however I think it's fair to point it out; it should also be said that the place was full anyway and this may have caught the staff a bit off guard. I'm also aware of the current difficulties (including psychological ones) of a category, that of restaurateurs, against which our illegitimate government has declared an unjustified and intolerable all-out war; therefore, I fully support this and, nevertheless, wish the business a good restart. Prices are perhaps slightly higher than average but in any case fair in relation to the quality. Bathrooms 🚾 clean and tidy 🚽🧻. Parking area 🅿️ not huge but still adequate. The surrounding rural setting is pleasant even though the structure faces the main road 🛣 connecting Aquileia and Grado. Overall, we had a good time, so I RECOMMEND IT 👍. As with the management of the 80s I remain very satisfied: young and courteous service, wide selection of pizzas and doughs, wood oven and, in the summer months, the possibility of eating outside and a large kiosk. Highly recommended...

27/04/2025: It's the third time we've been there, excellent value for money hotel. The rooms have been recently renovated, simple but tasteful and clean furnishings. Soft and clean linen. Impeccable service, friendly and very helpful staff. The perfect restaurant room; Friday evening we ate perfectly cooked fish linguine, just the right amount of spicy and the right amount of fish. Virtually everything balanced. At breakfast you will not find bacon and scrambled eggs but you will still find a wide choice of sweet and savory options. Good quality ham and cheese. fresh bread and cereals and dried fruit of all kinds and as a cherry the choice of two excellent homemade cakes. The restaurant room has a very elegant and tasteful decor from the eighties.

Splendid location, quality of the dishes we tasted ..."excellent" (sublime, in particular, a FIRST COURSE, represented by the "gnocchi alle ciliege". Applause to Cristina, for the service offered and the attention shown towards us. Very good quality / price ratio. We will definitely return, as soon as possible ... Franco Sbaiz
