22/07/2025: albergho molto pulito e ordinato. molto vicino a Fiume Veneto. parcheggio gratuito. arreddo un pò vecchio ma pulizia al top. si mangia bene al loro ristorante, piatti belli e buoni. buon rapporto prezzo -qualità.

14/07/2025: The pizza isn't exceptional, but it's nice. The staff is friendly, and the service is pretty quick, even on a Saturday night. The carbonara and tagliata are better. The beer is very good.

24/07/2025: A prestigious restaurant in beautiful Spilimbergo. The dining room is very welcoming. There are four of us, and we're seated at a charming table with a window overlooking the valley. The menu features local influences with gourmet touches. The frico is excellent, accompanied by the fillet of the valley's "queen" beef. The Pitina, a typical Friulian cured meat, is also very interesting. The price for two courses each, a bottle of prosecco and coffee, is €50 per person.

04/05/2025: I often went to Max and Marco and everything always went well. For me a guarantee; whether it's lunch or dinner. The environment is suggestive.

27/07/2025: We were there only for dinner. Food was delicious and staff helpful and friendly. The little playground and the animals were enough entertainment for our 3 children, so us parents we could enjoy a relaxed dinner.

10/08/2025: I returned after years... the quality of the food had drastically declined. Gnocchi with tasteless roast gravy, a sauce that seemed to have been diluted with water. The grill, like the rest of the meat, was dry and tasteless. It used to be hard to find a table, now it was half empty and it was Sunday. Not recommended.

30/06/2025: Trovandoci a Polcenigo e volendo mangiare una pizza, ci siamo ricordati di questo locale in quante altre volte in passato ci eravamo trovati bene e non era male. Memori di questo ci siamo ritornati. Ordiniamo due pizze di cui una alle verdure e una bufala. Quando arrivano notiamo subito che l'impasto trabordava abbondantemente dai piatti mentre il contenuto specialmente in quella alle verdure si limitava alla parte centrale. In pratica era più pasta che contenuto. Le verdure lasciamo perdere. Solitamente si mettono verdure grigliate di stagione tipo zucchine, melanzane etc. etc.. Ci troviamo, invece, verdure tipo sottolio tra cui mais (da quando mai si mette il mais in una pizza. Il mais può andare bene per gli americani che non sanno cosa si mette in una pizza. Per loro se al posto del pomodoro si mette il Ketchap va bene lo stesso). Per la prima volta ci ritroviamo a non finire entrambi la pizza. Chiediamo cortesemente se si può mettere ciò che resta in un cartone. Di solito detta operazione per motivi pratici e igienici viene fatta in cucina dal personale e non dal cliente al tavolo. Vabbe'. Ci viene portato il contenitore richiesto (chiuso) che al cameriere cade per terra. Lo recupera e con un modo tipo "cjapa ed arrangiati" ce lo consegna. Lo apriamo e poniamo quello che rimane delle rispettive pizze. Ci rechiamo a pagare. La compagna appoggia la carta al pos per procedere al pagamento e forse perché non lo ha appoggiato nel posto giusto non avviene la transazione. La cassiera senza chiedere se poteva prendere la carta o meno la toglie repentinamente di mano alla compagna e procede al pagamento. Non sei mica una nostra parente o conoscente per fare questo. Rilascio i miei commenti sulla nostra insoddisfazione delle pizze e ce ne andiamo. Dispiace. Avevamo un bel ricordo del locale. Indubbiamente un corso accelerato di buone maniere al personale non guasterebbe. Per noi mai più.

12/07/2025: Inattentive service, bland pizza. We asked the waitress for dessert and she never brought it. They also charged us for something we didn't even ask for. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

19/07/2025: Many thanks to my son-in-law who invited us to this restaurant with an extraordinary menu 🤩 I was ecstatic about the quality and goodness of the eel accompanied by a fine Friulian wine😃 A round of applause for the pleasant and friendly service.

14/07/2025: un menù eccezionale (cito solo: lumache e spugnole con chips di polenta, tagliatelle con astice alla busara e baccalà con crema di fave e cicoria), un proprietario che consiglia abbinamenti perfetti col vino, si intrattiene piacevolmente col cliente; un servizio professionale ma cordiale e rapporto qualità prezzo perfetto. Valeva due sere di seguito. Anche la location da cascina elegante ha il suo perché.

03/08/2025: A guarantee, it's the fourth time we've been here and they've never missed a beat. The grilled meat, the house specialty, is phenomenal, the traditional meatballs are also good, the service is attentive... the outdoor space is a pleasant and quiet corner. We'll definitely be back. 👏

12/07/2025: Sono andato a prenderlo di persona altrimenti avrebbe accumulato ulteriore ritardo, il locale aveva al momento due tavoli serviti, ed inoltre mi è stato chiesto se volevo una bibita in omaggio per il ritardo, quando in realtà l'avevo ordinata

09/06/2025: Als "Wiederholungstäter" wurden wir auch diesmal wieder nicht enttäuscht. Schöne Terrasse, schönes Lokal, netter und zuvorkommender Service und last but not least viel Gutes aus dem Meer und aus dem Keller. Wenn man in der Umgebung ist, unbedingt ausprobieren. Die Preise sind übrigens der Qualität entsprechend.

05/06/2025: Könnte man mehr Punkte vergeben das Castello hat es mehr als verdient. Wir waren eine Gruppe von sieben Personen Und alle Speisen die serviert wurden waren einfach fantastisch . Das Thunfisch Tatar einfach lecker . Aber auch die Hauptspeisen einfach ein Traum .Mir viel die Auswahl richtig schwer,weil alle Gerichte auf der Karte sehr verlockend klingen . Empfehlen kann man auf jeden Fall das Risotto mit Meeresfrüchten ,aber auch das Rinderfilet war ein Gedicht . Wir kommen auf jeden Fall nächstes Jahr wieder wenn wir in Muggia sind .

17/07/2025: Delicious food; we ordered the daily set menu. The only downside was that the pork chop was raw near the bone. The rest was a mixed salad, gnocchi with smoked ricotta, and chips. Water and coffee. Service is a bit limited because there are only a few people, but my impression is based on a single experience. The outdoor setting is very pleasant in the summer, the all-wood interior is distinctive, and the restrooms are clean.

25/06/2025: Fine cuisine, everything is good, a real pleasure to taste typical dishes of Friulian cuisine, for me a dive into the past, a shadow of my youth, the time that slipped by me here has stopped... Kind and helpful staff A fireplace that enlivens the atmosphere!! To return!!
