Only a few flaws in the service... but we know that no one is perfect. For the rest, this tavern, where I am already at my 3rd experience and never disappointed so far, located near the Cathedral of Udine offers a good range of food, well cooked, well served in a sober and well furnished environment in the classic version of an old Friulian tavern . Here you can taste an excellent house menu with Friulian wines produced mostly in the Cividale area and Spessa where we find excellent vines, so there is no more suitable choice than this. We also find excellent beer and classic drinks. Good prices looking at other places of this kind, especially those regarding the good desserts offered. The 3 euros for a lime, very full, are well spent. Well done to all the staff... keep up the good work. Advised.

Simpatico ristorante con piatti tra tradizionale e innovative.

Trovato per caso gironzolando per il centro di Udine questo locale appena fuori dalla zona più frequentata. Ampi ambienti ben arredati, una carta stuzzicante di prodotti tipici e un'ampia scelta di vini del territorio "a consumo". Porzioni generose e personale attento e disponibile anche alla chiacchiera (folla permettendo). Ho notato con piacere l'attenzione a sostituire il calice al cambio di vino, cosa che ultimamente non è così diffusa anche in locali blasonati. Ho assaggiato un radicchio all'aceto, prosciutto locale e un pollo in doppia cottura che è una delle specialità della casa, con grande soddisfazione. Finale in crescendo con una degustazione di cioccolato accompagnata da un eccellente rum. Prezzi assolutamente onesti. Il posto è adatto anche per famiglie e bambini. La cosa che mi ha fatto sorridere è che solo alla fine del pasto mi sono reso conto che, discorrendo delle bevande, né io né il cameriere abbiamo mai menzionato la parola "acqua". Grande regione il Friuli!

Ottimo servizio, piatti buoni e curati, locale semplice ma elegante. La prossima volta a Udine sarà tappa fissa! Bravi!!

Rather plain and nondescript from the outside, but don't walk past, as inside you will find great food and friendly service - and at very reasonable prices indeed! They have a garden at the rear, which is lovely in the summer. They even make their own delicious bread. This restaurant is something of a hidden gem.

Ottimo posto a due passi dal centro storico. La mia recensione vuole sottolineare il lato umano più che quello strettamente culinario e della qualità del servizio,che è comunque buono . Per questo motivo è un posto speciale solo per alcuni, anche se va bene per tutti.
