28/05/2025: Nice place, close to the city center, aperitif before going to the station to catch the train with colleagues ... all excellent ... but scene: we wanted to order looking for the waiter, my compliments to the self-control of the bartender, he ran up and down like crazy I think between the kitchen and the counter (I saw many beautiful toasts coming out). And the waiter smoking a cigarette .. when he caught him he also heard himself answer rudely ... if it had been me 😡 ... maybe two, too big to handle, but strong nerves ... chapeau

06/06/2025: Pastry Bar Cafeteria located along the Via Duca d Aosta in the city of Monfalcone in the province of Gorizia in a bright and renowned historic location with a refined pastry shop made of delicious and genuine products with artisanal cakes, pastries and pastries all of excellent quality. Welcoming environment, well furnished and clean with several seats inside and a large outdoor platform where you can taste a vast section of wines and bubbles and enjoy pleasant aperitifs in company. Friendly, fast and helpful service

06/06/2025: After years we returned for a dinner with friends. We were pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the staff. We ate pizza, I had gluten-free, delicious. It is not the usual, but they make it in a mold, very soft with quality ingredients. Gluten-free cooked in the same oven, excellent. Congratulations, we will definitely be back.

31/05/2025: Terrible service, they made us wait a long time, they didn't bring anything to nibble on in the meantime (like breadsticks), all the staff sulked. They never smiled. The pizzas were nothing special

30/06/2025: The all you can eat buffet has small portions so you can try a dozen meals and they all taste great. I left full of great food.

09/06/2025: The sushi we ordered for takeout was good! We definitely would order again from here! We love sushi and it’s something we eat often and I can say we enjoyed it!

05/08/2025: Spacious and elegant setting. Classic Friulian menu, average quality. Poorly organized service: incorrect orders, delayed appetizers, and main courses served to the wrong table, then lukewarm and then reheated. We had a substantial Smartbox voucher for dinner, but they notified us when booking that it wouldn't be accepted for the full amount on weekends. Obviously, customer service wasn't great. Unfortunately, we already knew that Smartboxes are a complete failure, both for those who use them and for the companies that provide them. We'll be back another time, perhaps for dinner, hoping to change our review. 🙂

27/07/2025: Every time I return to my vacation home, just a few kilometers from the restaurant, one of the absolute certainties is that I'll end up eating here. The Gelindo dei Magredi restaurant has become a regular stop, a landmark we've known for years and continue to choose, without ever having to book: I simply walk in, go in, and know I'll be fine. I've been there countless times, and what always strikes me is the consistent quality. Every dish, whether a seasonal novelty or a traditional Friulian classic, is always impeccably cooked. I don't have a favorite because I like to try everything, to vary, to be curious: here, every choice is a guarantee. The service is another strong point: kind, warm, and familiar. They've gotten to know us by now, and I feel truly at ease, as if I were at home. There's always a smile, a joke, a sense of attentiveness that makes you feel seen and welcomed. Without unnecessary formalities, but with genuine care. The place is truly beautiful, with attention to every detail. The setting is rustic yet elegant, with both indoor and outdoor dining options, in a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. There's that rustic-chic touch that makes you feel like you're on vacation, in a special yet authentic place. I've been there with friends and family more than once, and every time they're thrilled. It's one of those places you recommend with a light heart, knowing that those who go will thank you. The value for money is excellent, which makes everything even more enjoyable. I've never used the hotel or the other amenities like the pool or riding stables, but from what I see, everything is well-kept and well-organized. Ultimately, what keeps me coming back is the combination of the little things: the good food, the welcoming service, the relaxing atmosphere, the feeling of having known it forever. It's a place where you find peace, even if it's just for lunch or dinner. And of course... I'll be back soon.

27/07/2025: We had lunch here after a long city walk, and we thoroughly enjoyed it! The food was good, and small adjustments to taste were no problem at all. The tuna tartare and burata were most appreciated. The teenagers received some recommendations, the house wine was excellent, and the desserts were also delicious. We sat outside on the terrace, with rain threatening. They were very helpful in creating a spot for us. We sat outside for the atmosphere, which allowed for wonderful people-watching and the charm of the place. The price-quality ratio is truly excellent, in our opinion. Tipping is only possible in cash, which takes some getting used to for someone like me who doesn't accept cash.

26/07/2025: The restaurant is located directly on the Grand Canal in Trieste, a convenient location in the city center. It's a great place to stop for lunch. Enjoy a seafood platter with wine and aperitif, and relax and watch the world go by. The service is unobtrusive. The seating is pleasant in the shade under the large awning outside.

26/07/2025: It's our favorite place because it's also close to our house, which is a blessing both because we walk there and because everything is always REALLY good! The atmosphere is very informal and takes us back in time, like being in our grandfather's tavern! In the summer, they also set up an outdoor area with umbrellas and plastic tables (I recommend bringing mosquito repellent if you want to dine outside). The place is run by a very '80s-style team of very kind and helpful people. Sometimes there may be even fewer, but they deserve your patience because they are truly adorable: the sandwiches and dishes are excellent, the fries are out of this world, and the double Nutella crepes are a MUST. We'll be moving to another city soon, but when we return to Trieste, it will DEFINITELY be a must-visit!

16/08/2025: A restaurant located in a small street on Pordenone's main street. The location is pleasant and quiet, and the service is friendly but a bit slow. They made us wait to order and also between courses. The cuisine is excellent: the dishes were delicious, tasty, and well-cooked. At least in the summer, they have a very reasonably priced menu (first-class appetizers or second-class appetizers, 25 or 30 euros). Good value.

29/07/2025: Everything we ate was excellent, too bad I don't have any pictures because the plates were very beautiful. I highly recommend it because the prices are also normal.

28/07/2025: Great local food, quality selection of grilled beef. Extensive wine selection from winemakers near and far. Very friendly staff.

23/07/2025: The food was good, but the prices were definitely too high. An appetizer, two first courses, a vegetable, two desserts, two coffees, a glass of wine, and a mineral water, totaling 85 euros. I could understand if we had ordered meat!

10/08/2025: Ordered pizza because other pizzerias were closed and we were hungry. The pizza was very good.

09/08/2025: We didn't have a reservation on a Saturday evening in August. Despite it being busy, the staff made us a spot. The staff were very friendly, and the pizza was delicious. Highly recommended.
