01/03/2026: Three of us had dinner... unfortunately we weren't there, the ham seemed like the one from a common supermarket. We took the macaroni with ragù dok, raw pasta and a sauce that didn't satisfy anyone... we took the 24-month-old ham, cut by hand... very good... maybe we are demanding customers but the first raw ham was really pitiful, to be tried again.

24/01/2026: I've been frequenting this place occasionally for a while now, and I have to say it's a truly lovely place for a well-deserved break, whether sweet or savory. A welcoming place with ample parking, friendly and always smiling staff (which is a plus), and excellent coffee and pastries. Definitely recommended for anyone passing through!

21/03/2026: The pizza is good, but you have to be careful not to peel it underneath because it's carcinogenic. The staff still needs to learn their craft. Another tip I can give you is to cut the speck thinly, because the slices were too thick. Update the cover charge on the menu.

04/03/2026: Everything was very good, the staff were very friendly, everything was really excellent, you can taste every little difference in the flavor, I really like it, you can taste all the flavors and tastes of their Rugantino area, however, it's very easy to get there for those coming from Udine and for those coming from outside Udine. I'm from Godia and I got there in about 10 minutes, maybe a little less because in the evening it's much less noisy than during the day. The location of that place is also very suitable for families with children, so I find it very important for organizing dinners with friends and colleagues, etc. An excellent reference point for everything; if I'm not mistaken, it's also open for lunch and can be reached by bus lines 1, 2, and 3. It's also accessible by the new bus line 81, which connects the center of Udine with the hospital ring road and Via Colugna (although in my opinion, since it already overlooks the main lines, it doesn't make much sense). Furthermore, even when the bus from out-of-town locations, such as Tolmezzo, Gemona, etc., is closed, you can stop at the Chiavris stop and wait for the first bus, or for bus line 2 coming from Feletto, or bus line 81 coming from Via Colugna, as well as the hospital ring road to reach the historic center, formerly line 1 (years ago, this line passed through the historic center before the ZTL, and after the ZTL was introduced, they forced a change in its route). The only problem is the parking. It's located on the road, but with a bit of luck, you should find some free space on the internal streets...

29/03/2026: Small place offering Asian and other cuisine in a quick and simple way. It's a small restaurant, but it's very much a place after dinner. I've had some very good dishes, good value for money. The dishes aren't very authentic and are very revisited, but I personally loved them. Various types of dumplings, noodles, and gyoza.

13/10/2025: Every time I pass through Dolegna del Collio near Prepotto I like to stop at this place. On Sundays, since the owner, Frigo, is a motorcyclist, you can sometimes find a lot of motorcycles. The beer produced by the owner is delicious, the food is super, but if you are lucky enough to find Frigo, the owner, you will find that he is a Figo and incredibly friendly!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Here you'll find authentic Italian home cooking, made with care and high-quality ingredients. The lasagna is simply out of this world: rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The homemade gnocchi are also fantastic: soft, delicate, and bursting with flavor. Besides the extraordinary food, the owners are incredibly kind and welcoming, and you can really feel the passion they put into what they do. If you're in Trieste and are looking for authentic, high-quality cuisine made with love, this place is absolutely not to be missed. Highly recommended!
