23/05/2026: I am on my walking journey from Malta to India, and yesterday I reached Udine very late, almost around midnight. The restaurant had already closed at 11:00 PM, but the wonderful people at Himalaya Ristorante still waited for me for more than an hour just to serve me a warm meal. The food was absolutely delicious, and the people were incredibly kind and friendly. Their hospitality truly touched my heart after such a long and tiring day of walking. If you are ever passing through Udine, I would highly recommend visiting Himalaya Restaurant, you will definitely love the food and the amazing hospitality. 21/05/2026: We visited this restaurant and were absolutely thrilled. The food was delicious: dishes packed with flavor, perfectly balanced spices, and top-quality ingredients. The bread was simply out of this world! ​A special mention goes to the staff: they are incredibly kind and welcoming. ​The setting is elegant and the atmosphere is pleasant. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended!
