01/06/2025: Terrible experience, unfortunately. I had ordered a cake design cake for an important occasion, providing detailed photos and clear instructions. The result? A disappointment. 1. Wrapped cake, with no possibility of checking When I picked it up, the cake was delivered to me already wrapped in simple pastry paper, not even inserted in a normal cake box. An absurd practice: how can you take away a cake without even being able to see it first? Considering how precarious the wrapping was, I would have expected at least that I would be offered help to load it into the car. Instead, it was simply handed to me, without any attention or offer of assistance. At least a small gesture would have made the difference. 2. Nothing corresponded to what was ordered I had provided the exact photos of the cake I wanted, specifying proportions and colors. The result had nothing to do with it: completely disproportionate characters, wrong colors, overlooked details. I had also shown a similar cake made years ago to better understand... useless. 3. “Fake” cake with styrofoam I was offered a cake for 14 people, but when I cut it I discovered with great disappointment that most of the structure was made of styrofoam. In fact, the edible part was for no more than 8 people. I would have preferred more transparent communication from the beginning. Too bad, because I expected something completely different. 4. Writings printed on white office paper The most incredible thing? The writings and symbols requested were simple SHEETS of office paper printed in black and white, STICKED ONTO the cake! Not in sugar, not edible, simple A4 sheets cut out (and even a symbol was glued on backwards). Are you kidding me? It's shameful, something I could have made at home with a printer. I've never asked for something like this, never seen a cake made like this! 5. I paid for an embarrassing result Considering a price that was still high, as it should be for a designer cake, I would have expected a minimum of professionalism. Instead, I was given a cake that I don't even have the words to describe. 6. Terrible communication No willingness to discuss, no explanation, just coldness and zero assumption of responsibility. I had requested a specific designer cake and it was not made as requested. It would have been more honest to immediately communicate the impossibility of satisfying my request, instead of making me travel 4 hours for nothing. Disappointed and bitter. 7. Sincere advice: CLOSE the cake design section. The photos they publish on Facebook show beautiful cakes, but mine was a real disappointment, horrible. Old place, managed by people who are evidently not up to date either technically or in mentality. I will not return and I will not recommend it to anyone. I was shocked. It was a profound disappointment, and honestly... a shame. In conclusion, I am sorry to have to write a negative review, but when you commission a personalized cake — for an important event — you expect professionalism, care and respect for requests. In this case, I received exactly the opposite.

01/05/2025: Mangiare sufficientemente discreto ma il servizio pessimo, il cameriere molto scortese, porta l'insalata e richiediamo il condimento e si irrita e risponde, alzando la voce. Peccato perché l'ambiente è molto piacevole. Noi non torneremo più

21/04/2025: Pranzo Pasquale in famiglia. Piatti non tutti soddisfacenti e servizio lentissimo. Più di un' ora tra primo e secondo e non parliamo del caffè... Stavamo per andarcene a berlo da un'altra parte. C'era tantissima gente, probabilmente più di quella che il locale può gestire. In altre occasioni ci siamo trovati abbastanza bene, quindi forse gli daremo un'altra occasione.

22/08/2025: Absolutely not worth a visit! Rude and arrogant staff. After ordering (steak and baby squids), the food was served cold. After a polite complaint and a request for our food to be served warm, especially with steak and grilled dishes, the head chef came to the table and completely lost it, raging, screaming, offering no apology, nothing! ...We'll never be back! I've never experienced such aggression and behavior!

02/09/2025: I tried the bar, and despite the constant reviews, I had a good experience. Honestly, I didn't notice any of the things described in the 1-star reviews. I had a ginseng, and the service was fast and good quality. They probably have some reason to give it a 1-star rating.

There are really few words to describe the professionalism, seriousness and commitment that the owner puts into describing and accompanying you on a culinary journey from a starred restaurant. A friendly person, who through her descriptions and especially through her products has managed to describe a passion and a story that she has cultivated, literally, for more than 35 years. Highly recommended place for price, location and service which amazed more than anything. I have nothing else to say except thank you!!

11/09/2025: We were passing through Croatia and wanted to spend a few days in Italy, and I only discovered the bad reviews afterward, and I really don't understand them. Our room was clean, tidy, quiet, and the air conditioning worked perfectly and quietly. Sure, the breakfast was a bit lacking in choice, but I think that's normal in Italy because they don't have a very "German" breakfast; that's just the culture. For the price, I think it's good. We immediately said we didn't need a parking space because the hotel also has a back entrance by the bar, and there are plenty of free parking spaces there.

07/09/2025: Bad….Bad…. At least in my room, there are no drawers or a decent closet, the bathroom smells of urine/sewer, the shower is large but the glass isn't enough to separate it from the rest of the bathroom, so every time you shower you have to be careful not to flood the rest of the bathroom, furthermore there are no shelves, I conclude by saying that it is recommended ONLY if you want to have a roof over your head.

19/08/2025: I don't usually review but this really deserves one. Casually getting an ice cream and the guy demanded a cash payment: he clearly trying to save on bank commissions, and that's OK. What's NOT OK is the BEHAVIOUR when we said we didn't carry any cash with us. He basically made faces and kept looking bad on us while we were just trying to enjoy the ice cream(we ate fast and left of course). Everything could have been better with a simple smile and good costumer service. By reading the other comments, I can tell this guy doesn't take feedbacks to grow, as he doesn't make mistakes in his mind.

13/05/2025: Pesce freschissimo assolutamente!!! Cucinato in maniera eccellente e direi in stile casalingo ma curato Servizio ottimo cameriere eccezionale bravo e simpatico Decisamente un ottimo ristorante da visitare anche a pranzo con la terrazza esterna sul lungomare del villaggio.

Unfortunately, that didn't happen, as the food was really bad despite the hefty price tag. When we complained, the staff were unsympathetic. We ate fried seafood (not crispy, without sauce, and the polenta side dish was tasteless) and pasta with shrimp and zucchini (described as "fresh" pasta – certainly not accurate, and overcooked; a whopping 4 shrimp (!) and mushy zucchini), drank two non-alcoholic Spritzers and an espresso, and paid €75 for it. The only plus point: The setting is really nice by the water, right behind a small harbor. Unfortunately, we didn't see the Google reviews until after our meal... 2.8 stars is actually too high! Edit: After reading some reviews, we double-checked the bill: We – like many others – were overcharged by about €15!!! Catastrophic price-performance ratio and ripped off!!!
