09/09/2024: Good bread and croissants in the main street of Lignano Sabbiadoro During our stay in Lignano Sabbiadoro, we visited this bakery in the main street to buy some bread and croissants. The place is small but welcoming, with a good selection of baked goods. The bread was fresh and of good quality, perfect to accompany our meals. The brioches, although good, could have been a little softer "to our personal taste", but overall they were satisfactory. The general offer is interesting, with different options that certainly encourage you to try something else. The service was friendly. Overall, a good bakery if you are in the area and looking for fresh products for breakfast or a light lunch.

29/04/2025: Desiderosi di assaggiare il prosciutto di San Daniele, siamo stati attratti dal menu con proposte diversificate. Il prosciutto ci è sembrato buono, ma più salato di come ci saremmo aspettati. Inoltre avevamo ordinato, come assaggio, un piatto di tagliolini alla trota affumicata (prezzo sugli 11 €) da dividerci in due: la cameriera ha ribattuto "quindi due mezze porzioni", senza specificare altro. Al momento del conto la sgradevole sorpresa: le due mezze porzioni ci sono state fatte pagare 8,00 € l'una, quindi applicando un aumento del 50% sul prezzo dichiarato! Abbiamo fatto presente il nostro disappunto e la giustificazione è stata che si tratta della loro "politica aziendale"... Trovo la cosa molto scorretta, ancor più dopo aver riscontrato che lo stesso inconveniente era già stato riportato in altre recensioni: quindi, poco trasparenti e pure recidivi!

26/04/2025: Ancora seduta al tavolo scrivo, e non per la prima volta (segno che ci ritorno spesso), una recensione di questo locale che resta una garanzia a San Daniele se si vuole gustare il prosciutto e non solo (magnifici i tagliolini con verdure di stagione). Cameriere molto accoglienti, attente e sorridenti. L'ideale per un pasto rapido ma non per pasti in cui si vuole allegramente temporeggiare. Perché allora solo tre pallini nella valutazione? Dolci con prezzo troppo elevato se rapportato a ristorazione di alto livello e pulizia non più quella di un tempo. Seduta non perfettamente pulita (perché liberando il tavolo dallo sporco è ovvio ricada sulla sedia se non si procede a sua volta a pulirla), una chiazza appiccicosa sul tavolo sulla quale ho incollato utilmente lo scontrino della comanda per non perderlo e pulizia perfettibile dei bicchieri; non è facile con tanto movimento di persone ma è fondamentale: insopportabile bere in bicchieri al calice non perfettamente puliti. A parte questi aspetti, facilmente risolvibili con un po' di impegno, continuo a consigliarlo.

09/04/2025: The food is not bad but the waitress is rude and incompetent and it's already the second time I come and they get the menu wrong.

04/04/2025: Very rude staff, politely asking to close the door at the back of the restaurant, I was answered like this: "You close it", then, once the order arrived, I can say that the waiter was very polite and deserves an increase in his salary, since as soon as I asked him to close the sliding door again he did so without demanding anything. Dark environment, the chairs seem to be falling apart, the tables as well. Very good food, but does not compensate for the damage to the staff and the environment.

31/12/2024: I went to eat at this restaurant with a friend. Nice, welcoming place. We sit at the table, order 2 pizzas and, although there were a maximum of 10 people in the place, the two pizzas arrived after almost 1 hour. Furthermore, one of the two pizzas arrived without the chips we ordered, which arrived later in a separate saucer. The pizza left something to be desired, I think due to the raw materials used. The only positive thing about the service was that the gentleman at the cash register, as well as the pizza chef presumably, did not make us pay for the chips. Having said that, I don't recommend this place, at least for the pizzas.

31/12/2024: Of course, nothing to say about the goodness of the food, but charging 7 euros for a small portion of frozen "tiramisu" seems a bit exaggerated to me (elegant desserts spoken and not written on the menu). To then ask for a separate account and turn up their noses...everything was ok until the time for the bill came

25/04/2025: Pizzeria and restaurant with a large internal room and a very varied menu. Pizza with soft and tasty dough, very stuffed. Friendly staff and fast service. Recommended.

21/04/2025: I'm giving one star because it's not possible to give 0. Dirty place, inedible and raw pizza, chipped plates, tough and undercooked cutlet. I don't think there is a worse place than this in Trieste.

01/05/2025: Personale veramente gentile e disponibile. Ordinato un fritto misto e paccheri con 2 birre grandi...devo dire che non era male, ma ho mangiato MOLTO meglio da altre parti con la metà dei soldi!!!!! Sicuramente non torno

24/11/2024: I preferred it, by a lot, to previous years. With the new management it is a completely different restaurant, you may like it or not... Putting on a lot of air doesn't always bring success.

18/01/2025: Wir essen seit vielen Jahren in diesem Restaurant und waren immer von der riesigen und teuren Platte mit Fisch, Meeresfrüchten und Hummer begeistert. Aber dieses Jahr (Juli 2024) waren wir sehr enttäuscht, vor allem vom Hummer, er entsprach nicht der vorherigen Qualität. Es fühlte sich an, als ob das Hummerfleisch erst herausgenommen, zu einer Pastete verarbeitet und wieder zurückgelegt wurde. Es ist eine Schande, ein so minderwertiges Produkt für so viel Geld zu erhalten. Die Bedienung war ganz gut.

30/09/2024: Locale turistico ma con una buona cucina. Menu ampio, propone sia pizze che piatti tradizionali. Tutto buono, veramente ottimi gli spaghettoni all'Astice, peccato che nel menu non fosse indicata la piccantezza che ha creato qualche difficoltà. Prezzi accettabili e in linea con la concorrenza della zona. Unico problema l'affollamento, forse perchè era domenica. Il locale era strapieno nonostante i tavoli talmente vicini che i camerieri stentavano a passare, il consguente vociare era al limite del sopportabile.

01/04/2025: Today was the best day of my life, my friends and I went to eat at this kebab and we were enchanted. The kebab we tasted was full of flavors that tickled our taste buds. The sandwich was crunchy and the meat was spiced just right. The owner was very nice and the atmosphere was perfect. PS: sandwich>piadina

15/04/2025: I was here on a rainy day in April (Easter holidays). Nothing going on, inside or outside. The waitress was nice, the ice cream (strawberry cup) for me wasn't homemade but rather "industrial ice cream", the strawberries were fresh, the whipped cream was good. The sauce was thick - I would have liked real crushed strawberries. The interior of the restaurant is very minimalist. Not a highlight for me.

24/04/2025: One star because you can't do less. Extremely rude to the school group in which my son also participated, prejudices as they are young kids. Food at the minimum wage, cost for a night out of season disproportionate. I definitely won't recommend it to anyone. If the hotel manager gets offended, it's his problem... Ask yourself two questions.

16/11/2024: I have been frequenting this pizzeria for over 12 years, always hoping that they will improve a fundamental element: the pizza dough. Despite the lightness of the base, the flavor is excessively salty, to the point of leaving you feeling thirsty all night long. This problem persists with both normal and wholemeal or kamut doughs, and it's a shame, because a small adjustment would be enough to make it really pleasant. I would like to underline that the staff is always very kind and welcoming, and the summer terrace is a strong point: fresh and pleasant, ideal for a quiet evening. However, the interior of the venue leaves something to be desired and there appears to be no effort to improve it. I find that there is great potential, both in the location and in the service, but a change in the dough and greater attention to the quality of the ingredients and the rest of the restaurant could really make a difference in enhancing the overall experience. I hope they take these comments constructively, for the sake of themselves and their loyal customers.
