Fairly good welcome, run by a mother and son.
The son was very kind, the mother was not at all disrespectful.
It's a simple place; there are no menus with prices listed.
My husband and I stopped by chance, since we were passing through.
We ordered a fish appetizer to share, not particularly excellent, and a fish main course, also to share.
Two desserts, and two coffees.
We went to the cashier to pay, the lady gave us the bill, and right there and then, I paid, a bit shocked.
Basically, she charged us double for an appetizer, €23.00, instead of just one.
Unfortunately, I checked the receipt at the hotel and couldn't complain.
A scam, pure and simple.
25/10/2025: We had lunch with the workers' menu. The food was more than excellent and the price was very reasonable.

If you want to eat a truly delicious pizza, this is the place to go.

14/10/2025: They also have a fixed-price menu for workers at lunch, so I decided to spend the same amount as the workers' menu, but since I only ordered a second course "à la carte," the surprise was the €2.50 cover charge! That's the same as the fixed-price menu!
Other restaurants at least justify the expense by differentiating the tables; here, they're all the same. I understand if the cover charge was minimal, but in my case, it was 20% of the price! The oil was stale, and the fries tasted like fish!
It's still acceptable as a fixed-price menu, but "à la carte" is ABSOLUTELY NOT!

09/11/2025: Annoying music at night until after midnight, poor maintenance of the accessories (bathroom door and shower door come apart) in the room. Poor breakfast.
08/11/2025: Everything is fine. I'm not picky. I stayed for work. Unlike other hotels I've stayed at, this one is top-notch. It has everything you need for a relaxing stay. My rating is five stars.

22/10/2025: I like that its a very non-pretentious place. Not overly styled but lively. I didn't really understand that they also have a food counter around the corner (towards the toilets) and thought the food around the coffee bar was the only option. Maybe the staff could just point out when you come in where one can see the food😆😅 The lunch food looked great, with vegan options of legumes salad and several crispy veggies. They also had 2 vegan pastries, which were good

Unspeakable! Much of the food was thrown away because it was spoiled, with all the guests complaining! I had to go buy more food during the party to feed the guests!! The setup wasn't as agreed upon, I paid an exorbitant amount for ridiculous sandwiches (like a second-rate cafeteria), and last but not least, I've been waiting three months for an invoice or receipt for the €530 I paid, handed over immediately!... Oh, if you decide to try them, pay at the end of everything, otherwise they'll cash in and leave, leaving everything as it is, even if it's incomplete and not as agreed upon!!!

30/08/2025: A miserable business that only opens in the morning. Ignoring the type of bread, which is typical of the area but still tastes awful, unappealing, and expensive. There's not a single sweet, not a strudel, not even cookies or donuts. NOTHING.

07/08/2025: I have a second home here in Forni di Sopra, and I go here every morning to get bread. I barely spend €2.50 for enough bread to last me the whole day. The owners are very friendly, kind, and fast. The only downside is the small space, but I think it's adequate for the job. Keep it up!

And very affordable, at least compared to Austria...
20/07/2025: A small bakery just outside the center of Grado.
It offers both savory and sweet baked goods.
I've personally only tried the pastries: there's not a huge variety, but they're good!
