15/06/2025: We visited this fantastic restaurant as a family and it was a wonderful experience. We were welcomed by the owner and the head chef. We tried a bit of everything and will definitely return. Compliments to the staff.

15/06/2025: Three of us came here for dinner on a Saturday evening in June. We had a salad, which was okay, as expected. Then we had a Flameburger, as shown in the picture, which was excellent and highly recommended. Good meat, well-filled and seasoned. We also ordered French fries, which were also great, hot but not at all greasy. Then we had a classic calzone pizza, which we advise against. They brought the wrong one, the Titanic version, and it was filled with cheap ingredients like low-quality ham and cheap cheese, of which there was far too much, and canned mushrooms. What's that all about? They put a few chips and pizza bread next to it, and then you pay €7.50 on the bill. That's too much! Then the whole time, there was quite loud, rather inappropriate English pop music playing; some subtle Italian music would have been better here.

06/06/2025: We came here for breakfast – unfortunately, it was a rather disappointing experience overall. The cappuccino didn't taste great, and the service was unfriendly and even arrogant. What was particularly annoying was that my meal arrived 15 minutes after my partner's, which really put a damper on our start to the day. The food itself was okay, but nothing special. The ambiance, however, is nothing to complain about and quite modern. Overall, we felt very uncomfortable.

04/06/2025: Based on the good reviews from the last few weeks and the friendly advice from the waitress in the afternoon, we decided to reserve a table for the evening. This was recommended to us as it gets quite busy in the evenings. When we got there in the evening, our expectations were disappointed. We only wanted a drink, but when we ordered we were given strange looks and asked several times if we didn't want something to eat. From then on it became very uncomfortable and the waiters' attitude was very cold and rather unfriendly. We had the feeling that if we hadn't made a reservation we would have been sent away immediately. We found it a bit cheeky that we still had to pay the 2 euros for service, even though there was no service at all and every place was cleared away as soon as we had ordered. There are much better places in town for just drinking and relaxing.

18/06/2025: Abbiamo preso un gelato oggi pomeriggio, oltre che essere un pessimo gelato, con poco gusto e pieno di ghiaccio, è costato anche un occhio della testa, praticamente un furto con scontrino. Alla cassa non ci sono i prezzi, fai prima lo scontrino e paghi a palline. Peccato perché è un bel locale e le ragazze sono carine e gentili, però con questi prezzi e questa scarsa qualità, sicuramente non ci tornerò più.

03/06/2025: Ero in zona e ho deciso di prendere 4 palline di gelato per la mia famiglia.....capisco gli aumenti di prezzo...(1,80 a pallina)che ormai da per tutto insorgono.....ma almeno da altre parti si paga tanto ma le palline sono almeno abbastanza grandine ....qua ,la pallina era minuscola.....senza esagerare....la ragazza è stata ben istruita??.....non ci si approfitta così.......mai più....

12/11/2024: Good quality, always fresh food, considering that it is a self-service "canteen" I would say that it is well stocked. Helpful and friendly staff. Excellent quality/price ratio.

24/02/2025: I often get takeaway poke from Casa Fazi. The ingredients are quality and the sauces are balanced, neither salty nor bland. The only note is that for example the medium bowl could be larger... let's say that it's not enough to fill you up completely. It's a shame that lately there is no longer raw tuna as a protein but only salmon.

06/04/2025: Posto molto carino, cibo buono anche se le porzioni le ho trovate un po’ ridotte (da triestina). Staff cordiale ad eccezione di una cameriera, che con il suo modo di scherzare è risultata fastidiosa e insistente.

20/01/2025: Dopo aver visitato il borgo ci siamo fermati a pranzo in questa locanda. Per antipasto prosciutto crudo eccellente e stracciatella. Per primo tagliatelle dello chef con verdure e speck croccante, a seguire stinco di vitello e patate. Veramente tutto ottimo. Servizio eccellente, tanta cortesia. Assolutamente consigliato

23/06/2025: Fabulous location, limited but special menu, service a bit poor. After years I revise my review. I called to book explaining that I didn't know the exact time because I had to wait for the end of the swimming competitions, approximately 8:30 pm, I was answered in an irritated way that they close at 9:30 pm so "it's not the case". I called another restaurant in Sistiana and they answered me "but yes, come even at 9 pm as long as you don't run on the coast, there are no problems" So with a nice A NEVER AGAIN, I strongly advise against this place.

26/05/2025: A very cozy cafe-bar in an impressive Art Deco style! The iconic interior alone is (almost) a tourist attraction. The outdoor seating area on the piazza (not far from the Maria Theresa Thaler—that's something, too :)) is also very cozy, especially in nice weather! The Aperol Spritz are delicious and, by Trieste standards, almost inexpensive. So you (or at least I) are happy to turn a blind eye if the staff isn't particularly attentive (but always very friendly!) ;)

03/06/2025: Stopped for lunch they invited us to only have pizza because we had to wait a long time for the kitchen, the place was completely empty we were only 10 of us, they made us sit at a table for 8 and we prepared the addition of the table ourselves. Decent pizza, good service too but as said before it was just us, I forgot it was 1.00 pm 🤗 stopped by chance, marked as a place to avoid.

13/04/2025: A place to avoid.!.. ordered 2 mixed grills. The pork was raw. Everything cooked badly on the tasteless plate. Only the chips are good Disorder in the roles it was not known who could order them. Wine clearly almost vinegary. 80s sun oil and vinegar with transparent oil body perhaps of seeds
