17/06/2025: The grilled cockerel at BEFED is always a guarantee, the lean meat is excellent and cooked to perfection, with crispy and tasty skin, the flavor is really very good, thanks to the mix of spices. Of course the fried potatoes are also very good, cut large and of a golden color that makes you want to bite into them immediately, not without having dipped them in mayonnaise. Obviously you can't miss the classic cold beer. The place is small, but it is comfortable and welcoming, the service is fast, precise and kind. Those who like cockerel will certainly find what they need here to satisfy their taste.

06/10/2024: We arrived at this restaurant a little "desperate" because the two restaurants nearby that we wanted to try were full and having a hungry little child there was no time to look elsewhere. The waitress who welcomed us was very kind but, unfortunately, this alone cannot make up for the rest of the evening. At the table we were not given a menu but it was read to us by the waitress which, in my opinion, causes more than one problem 1. I can't take a few minutes to calmly choose what to have, having a clear idea of ​​what the menu includes, without having to ask the waitress several times "wait, what was the second first course you said?" 2. I have no visibility of the prices of the dishes I am ordering and I find this very incorrect 3. if you also add that the waitress is foreign, the result is that you are also embarrassed to say to her "as an excuse? What did you say?" more than twice, so you give up on understanding half the menu and then go home wondering "but what were the tagliatelle with chicken in the end?". Having overcome this initial obstacle we ordered and what arrived were some tagliolini with San Daniele (with what looked like cream) which were very dry, a frico with polenta which looked more like a piece of melted cheese, some chips which were certainly fried in still cold oil, so they just tasted of oil, and the entrana with potatoes, described as a succulent cut that can be eaten with the preferred cooking method (which in my case is rare) and instead two whole slices of meat arrived at the table on top of the valerian salad which gave a lot the idea of ​​two shoe soles thrown on top of the salad, with the cooking decidedly NOT rare. It must be said that there was nothing left on the plates because we were hungry, so I'm not saying that everything was inedible. I also don't like it when at the end of the evening the waitress asks "did you eat well? Was the meat good?" answer "NO" because in any case there are people who work behind it, who may have had a bad day etc and in the heat of the moment I may not be so diplomatic, so I prefer to say that everything went well, pay the bill and leave knowing that I will never set foot again in that restaurant... This is why I don't really like to review a place negatively, I prefer to review things that have particularly impressed me in a positive way.. But in this case I decided to leave a review because, in addition to everything that went wrong, I discovered (only after the receipt was issued) that I had paid 22 euros for those two shoe soles and it particularly annoyed me! Looking back we could guess how the evening would go from the fact that the restaurants around were full and this one only had our table occupied...

01/06/2025: Deze plek was een enorme aanrader. Het volledige terras zat vol maar de vriendelijke obers deden toch hun best om snel een tafeltje vrij te maken. Het is hier enorm leuk buiten zitten op een gezellig pleintje in een levendige stad. Het eten was bovendien heerlijk voor een correcte prijs!

Nuestros entrantes eran flores de calabacín fritas y hojas de salvia. ¡La cesta de pan también tenía un pan precioso! Tuvimos los ñoquis con pesto casero con ricota - precioso - y nos llevamos a casa el insalato con queso, semillas, col rizada, repollo rojo, así que ya estamos llenos y el insalato era ENORME! 15/05/2025: I went on Sunday 11/05/2025 asking for two packages of pastries to take to the hospital. After waiting quite a while, I got two packages whose packaging I'll leave you to judge from the photos I'm attaching. There was no cardboard divider... the largest one opened completely before being delivered, since it didn't take a stroke of genius to put scotch tape or a ribbon on the long side. I made a bad impression, spent a lot and the quality was very, very dubious.

The thing that made me furious was that we ordered a grilled cockerel whose price on the list was 12 euros, since 2 of us were not very hungry we asked that they split it into 2 parts on 2 plates. When I asked for the bill I immediately noticed that the cockerel had been charged with 2 separate items at 9 euros each for a total of 18 euros instead of 12. I asked for explanations and was told that the extra charge was for the "division in 2" service, I pointed out that they should have warned us in advance because if we had known we would have done the division ourselves, in response I was told that that's how it works there and if we were not satisfied we can avoid coming back.

16/06/2025: Passing by during a motorbike ride we notice this restaurant and decide to stop. We ask if the kitchen is still open, since it was 2:30 pm! The very kind owners tell us that, if we are satisfied with what there is, they will bring us something... after 20 minutes on the table we had aubergine parmigiana, sausages and ribs with polenta, hot Arabic bread just out of the oven... so much for being satisfied!! Everything is truly delicious!! I can only warmly recommend this place, where they welcomed us with kindness and cordiality... and fed us despite the time! Thank you!!
