21/09/2024: ....magari foste anche a Milano..ci vorremmo tutte le settimane!! Posto molto conviviale e dal clima rilassato. Abbiamo bevuto dell'ottimo vino friulano ...è mangiato dei cicchetti superlativi e molto gustosi con un rapporto qualità prezzo davvero imbattibile..mai trovato prima! Continuate così , distinguendovi! Anche il nostro Oliver ha apprezzato sia la vostra cortesia...che i vostri cicchetti 😉 alla prossima Paola

26/02/2025: I'm sorry to write a negative review, I usually don't write one... but rudeness and arrogance like the lady with the white hair had never happened to me... moreover, the food was really bad... I had a first course and the pasta wasn't al dente, it wasn't really cooked, the tuna and Taggiasca olives seasoning wasn't poor, it was non-existent. Bad experience not to be repeated.

30/12/2024: Coffee break during a Sunday trip... clean place, courteous staff, very good croissants with lots of fillings. The purchase of a pack of house chocolates was also appreciated.

21/12/2024: The vintage furniture and atmosphere makes this place welcoming and is a small jewel on the outskirts of Udine, inserted in a complex of other activities. Furthermore there are a variety of beers, including niche ones, strictly artisanal. I highly recommend it.

18/11/2024: I often go there for lunch. There is a wide choice and the possibility to compose the dishes with whatever dish is available at the moment. Very honest prices and takeaway option.

11/08/2024: Dopo esserci passato davanti molte volte ho deciso di entrare e provare. Sabato a pranzo, c'ero solo io. Il cibo è pronto dietro il bancone, scegli e te lo portano a tavola. C'era molto poco, e così mi sono arrangiato con alici marinate (decenti) e calamari alla griglia che invece la griglia l'avevano salutata almeno il giorno prima. € 13.80 inclusa una birra può sembrare un prezzo onesto, ma per favore non parliamo di pesce fresco... E dire che sono gli stessi che lo vendono a pochi passi di distanza. Leggo buone recensioni, sarò stato sfortunato o....?

06/01/2025: Seguendo i consigli di TripAdvisor, pranzo domenicale con la famiglia in un ambiente rustico e familiare, che ricorda la classica taverna friulana di casa, con alle pareti tanti attrezzi di lavoro artigianale di un tempo. Bellissimo e funzionale lo"Spolert" in muratura. Locale pieno, di gruppi familiari e/o di amici. Menù con i piatti della tradizione friulana con alcune varianti per i primi di gnocchi. Buona qualità delle pietanze e porzioni veramente abbondanti, tant'è che alla fine del pranzo, quello che non si è riusciti a consumare, ci è stato messo in vaschetta per l'asporto. Prezzi onestissimi. Abbiamo apprezzato gli gnocchi allo stracchino, salsiccia e noci ed il frico con la polenta abbrustolita. Buone anche le patatine fritte. Il servizio è discreto ed attento. Da consigliare. Da confermare e condividere gli ottimi giudizi postati su TripAdvisor.

05/01/2025: Trattoria nota per le specialità del territorio (il Frico su tutte), che vengono abitualmente proposte agli ospiti in dosi generose, in una cornice che esprime la tipicità di un locale friulano, con due ampie sale contigue dalle pareti perlinate, ed i tavoli allestiti in maniera semplice con tovaglie di carta. Gentile e molto alla mano il personale, e menù della tradizione, che propone le ricette tipiche friulane. Noi abbiamo scelto gnocchi, nella doppia versione con stracchino, salsiccia e noci, ed al ragù, salame con cipolla all’aceto, frico, radicchio di campo con le cicciole, frittata. Il frico viene preparato in un’unica soluzione per tutti i componenti della tavolata che l’avessero scelto, e poi porzionato, per cui chi saltasse il primo piatto si troverebbe ad attendere anche a lungo, cosa che è purtroppo successa a noi, creando qualche malumore. Sarebbe forse opportuno segnalare questa consuetudine, al fine di consentire di adeguarsi o di avanzare eventuali richieste o necessità. Abbiamo bevuto un buon Cabernet della casa ed acqua minerale. Ottima la qualità di quanto abbiamo mangiato, caldo ed accogliente il locale, servizio alla mano ma migliorabile, conto a mio avviso adeguato.

07/04/2025: Pizza different from the usual ones. Smaller, but taller. Potato flour, instead of mozzarella it uses fontina cheese if I'm not mistaken. I haven't been there for years due to my own problems. But really good.

05/04/2025: I believe that the original recipe for the famous, at least in the area, round pan pizza has been completely lost. It's been a while since I've been back but there's nothing left of the original pizza, the one from the old owner, which is a real shame, they've diversified the offer with other types of pizza but I can't say anything about that one having not tried it. Something to complain about the service too, usually the water is asked if it's ok from the fridge or room temperature and honestly the hot sparkling water isn't the best.

18/03/2025: We ate very well, the price was good, but the service was something to be desired. The staff inside also left a lot to be desired.
