04/02/2025: If you believe that perfection is unattainable you have not been from Indiniò. That "nowhere else" is there this attention to detail is clear as soon as you enter: materials, lighting, decorations, distribution of tables, mis en place, everything is tasteful and in the right place. And while you are happily enveloped in this intimate, warm and refined atmosphere at the same time, the real magic begins. With small but precise accents, the dining maître leads the tasting experience by giving a name to what you are perceiving through sight and smell, both very satisfying! And when you taste it you feel each element and at the same time a wonderful overall harmony that amplifies dish after dish because even the sequence, the pairings with the wine and last but not least the rhythm of the courses here are excellent. To give a further sensorial stimulus there is the creative flair of the chef who presents mini-macarons in the entrée and as a final cuddle an apparently perfect olive and the essence of a traditional local first course. Praise also goes to the service which is impeccable while remaining natural and spontaneous.

29/03/2025: Top bar in the city of Udine. Tommy number 1 really, handsome, kind and with a lot of savoir-faire with customers, always in a hurry but has kind words for everyone. Excellent service, excellent breakfast and excellent aperitifs. Small but welcoming place with outdoor space. On Saturday mornings it offers a Neapolitan breakfast with excellent Campania products such as Sfogliatella. Recommended by the Milanese!
27/03/2025: Incredible place for breakfast or a snack, I went with my girlfriend yesterday by chance and we did not hesitate to repeat today. Everything was great and super friendly. I will come more times!

15/03/2025: On the advice of our daughters we went there for lunch on Sunday, a really nice place, welcoming and mountain style, clean. It is on two floors with small rooms that make you feel like you are in a fairy tale and pampered. In a family condition and all very kind from the managers with the friendly Marco and the children of an affable cordiality. The area on the ground floor with the fireplace is beautiful, with soft lights that create a special atmosphere. The only negative note is that the bathroom on the second floor is private, asking the lady she told me that women can use it, then I saw that men also use it. There isn't a huge variety of choice, but the quality doesn't make you feel like you're missing anything because it's truly excellent. We had very good cold cuts and cheese starters but the sliced venison was excellent. Then we chose ribeye with a side of fried potatoes, artichokes, typical Friulian frico (which for my taste is a little too fatty, but I think it depends on the cheese) good, and the mixed Friulian dish, all very good. Those who ate the homemade desserts said they were delicious. At the end they offered us a hazelnut liqueur, which was also very good. What can I say where there is commitment and passion in doing things, you can see and feel it. Well done and good continuation in a context that is not always easy to manage. We'll be back.

03/01/2025: Locale dall'aspetto accattivante, tutto in legno chiaro e con quadretti a tema nautico alle pareti. Ma questo è niente: il pezzo forte è il fatto che puoi crearti il panino a tuo piacimento, scegliendo tra una gamma di salumi, formaggi, salse e molto altro tutto fresco e di qualità. Gentilissimo pure il personale, che ti consiglia gli abbinamenti. Non vastissima la scelta delle birre, ma si parla di Augustiner e Punk I.P.A.: mica scherzi, dunque!
Mi è piaciuto al punto che ci sono ritornato solo dopo un paio di giorni.
Ideale per una cena rapida, ma di qualità o per un aperitivo che non dimenticherete.

Provato per la prima volta anni fa e da quel momento ci sono tornato quasi ogni anno, negli ultimi due anche a pernottare fermandomi qualche giorno. È un posto unico.
Una locanda che ha più di 150anni sperduta nel Carso, a un passo dal confine sloveno, in un territorio aspro che richiama alla memoria reminiscenze scolastiche sui grandi eventi del secolo scorso. La storia è affascinante, ho letto anche il libro sulla storia della famiglia. Da locanda di paese, alla quale è passata di fianco la Storia con la S maiuscola, è ora un’oasi di pace e autenticità dove si respira un’atmosfera fuori dal tempo. A gestione familiare, il patron Augustin è un personaggio “leggendario” di enorme fascino, la cui fama fama è nota anche a chi non ci è ancora stato, se appassionato di enogastronomia.
Il ristorante è elegante e molto curato, i piatti sono quelli del territorio un po’ rivisitati. È tutto più o meno buono: di primi ho provato i fusi (pasta) con salsiccia e formaggio Jamar e i tagliolini alla farina di vinaccia con spezzatino di gallina e speck croccante (eccezionali!).
Tra i secondi la coscia di coniglio al forno con patate e la guancia di maiale (che avrei preferito un po’ più morbida) brasata al Terrano con patate in tecia. Tra i dolci va assolutamente provato il Tiramisù Coppa Vetturino, che loro dicono essere la ricetta originale del creatore del dolce. I rafioi (biscotti alle carote ripieni di confettura) e gelato erano invece meno entusiasmanti.
La carta dei vini è un’ode al territorio, incentrata su Collio e Carso, sia italiano sia sloveno, e altre zone del Friuli, e poi etichette dall’Italia e dal mondo. Profondissima scelta, annate anche molto vecchie e introvabili, e prezzi più che onesti.
Servizio efficiente, tutto o quasi in mano alle figlie e a pochi altri collaboratori.
Prezzo assolutamente corretto, soprattutto per i bassissimi ricarichi sui vini e la qualità delle materie prime.
Come dicevo a inizio recensione, sono innamorato di questo posto e ci tornerò ogni volta che posso.

21/03/2025: This is the second time I have come to dinner at this place and I can confirm that it has entered my heart. The place is really beautiful, small, welcoming and tastefully decorated! It transmits the tranquility typical of your own home. The menu is really interesting and mainly vegan/vegetarian. I have clearly fallen in love with their pizza! The first time I tasted it I was with my boyfriend and it amazed me so much that I also proposed it to my friends as an appetizer to share. And this time too I found it incredible! It looks like a cloud, crunchy on the edges and soft on the inside. For dinner with my friends I had the carasau lasagne with vegetables and vegan fondue which was almost a shame to eat it because it was so well presented. The taste was great, I would have eaten 100 more. The previous time I also tried their vegan carbonara which is truly a hit, super creamy, with tofu that really comes very close to guanciale and the Scalamari that for a moment I had trouble believing that they were not real calamari. The 5 stars are also above all for the staff and the chef, all smiling, kind and truly available to meet every need. One of the places where you eat best in Udine.
