22/09/2025: Typical and excellent cuisine. We recommend the fried polenta. Good wine served in bowls. They were kind enough to let us in late after our road trip. A very nice vacation surprise.

11/09/2025: Amazing little spot with a lovely pergola for a few tables. The inside is larger, but the outside is great (and they have mosquito repellent! Use it). Everything we had was both tasty and elegant. The owner has a great wine list, and a great attitude for service. Highly recommended!

10/11/2025: Excellent experience. The staff is friendly, helpful, and ready to accommodate all your needs. The inn is located in the Piacenza hills with a stunning view and a charming woodland walk with equipment and challenges to complete. It's a great place to unwind or pass the time after dinner or lunch. The menu is based on Piacenza's specialties. I highly recommend the anolini in brodo, which are delicious. The essence of Piacenza is always present in their dishes, and the atmosphere is spacious and very clean.

09/11/2025: This is a typical tavern on top of the hill mostly with meat and local food. The quality is overall good although not vegan friendly. Some vegetarian options are available. Recommend.

03/11/2025: A very beautiful and recently renovated property, also suitable for large events. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is friendly and professional. I also enjoyed a dinner of stuffed Chisolino and sausage risotto (both very good). Recommended.

19/10/2025: Farmhouse in the middle of nowhere but very (too) close to the highway, unfortunately with a lot of noise. The room was very nice, spacious, and comfortable. We found the restaurant overpriced. Nothing exceptional. The staff was very pleasant and professional.

03/10/2025: With friends from the club, it's the place to go for members' evenings, as several of them live in town. We dine in the tavern with cured meat appetizers and anolini in broth. Both are excellent, with a special mention for the anolini, a must for the gourmet palates of those who appreciate "real" anolini with terza broth. Excellent service from the staff! Very good!

12/09/2025: This is another place that has become a regular for me and my family, for breakfast, aperitif, lunch and occasionally dinner. The place is elegant, welcoming and clean, the staff are kind, hospitable and very professional. Breakfast has something for all tastes and needs. For aperitif, I repeat the same as above. Lunch and dinner are top menus, every day you find something different. There are a few dishes, quality ingredients cooked excellently at an excellent price... 5 stars deserved.

To reach the restaurant, if you're coming from the north, I recommend not taking the main road, but taking a 15-minute drive through the Pavia hills, passing through Ziano and Seminò. The service is attentive and punctual, and made the time fly by. The dishes we ate were truly excellent! The fresh pasta dishes are simply breathtaking, generously portioned and flavorful. The tagliatella with porcini mushrooms is one of the best I've ever had. And the tagliata we ordered was also truly succulent. Verdict: A true spectacle in every way: food, location, and service. 19/10/2025: I ate very well. The staff was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was very welcoming and full of history. The restaurant's name harks back to a Valtidone tradition I personally experienced as a child 💕. The dishes were carefully prepared and plated, and very enjoyable. The menu was adequate, with a limited selection of local wines. Prices were average.

25/04/2025: A truly excellent experience in this sauce shop which mainly offers platters of cold cuts and cheeses accompanied by homemade sauces and a basket of bread and hot tigelle. In closing, we also really liked the desserts. Right portions and honest prices for what we saw on the menu (despite the fact that we used a smart box). Friendly and relaxed service, a warm and welcoming environment.

03/12/2025: You'll feel at home at La Trappola: the staff are friendly, the atmosphere is cozy and casual, the food is delicious...you feel pampered... I've been back and will be back again... Book ahead, because the restaurant has limited seating.
