Now an institution in Piacenza, given its long history, it's always popular. It's a pleasure to enjoy a beer with friends. I recommend even those who aren't fans of the genre to stop by at least once.

This is a historic place. I used to go there in my youth (I'm 50), and now I only go on Tuesdays with the usual 3-4 friends. The beer is excellent, and the menu hasn't changed since the '90s. A guarantee. The only problem... the rigidity of closing times. You don't lose an hour in absolute terms; 1 a.m. on a weekday is more than fine. The fact is that even though the place is still full, they literally throw people out! Last night, Tuesday was St. Patrick's Day, and at 12:40 almost all the tables were occupied... they purposely closed the kitchen even earlier than usual... And, indeed, they threw out customers. This shows a management that's a bit too industrial. Too bad.

I rarely give a place 5 stars. But in this case, I need to change my mind. There's over thirty years of history here. Time stands still here, but at the same time, it doesn't mind keeping up with the times. Wide selection of beers, food as good as few. Worth a subscription.

A classic, historic brewery. The wooden tables are well-worn, as they should be! A wide selection of beers, all excellent. Tip: if you're hungry, they make excellent bruschetta to accompany your meal.

After many years of not returning to this place I frequented in my youth, today I wanted to have a sandwich here.
The atmosphere is typical of a pub-style brewery. It's a shame about the three steps at the entrance, with no railing for those like me who have difficulty holding on, but luckily I was with my husband. I had a good Papetee porchetta fontina and salsa contadina sandwich (oh, I didn't like it), and my husband had a very good Judi focaccia, thick, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, with speck, tomato, shrimp sauce, mozzarella, and salad. Must try, excellent!
I had a medium St. Thomas beer, my husband a medium Pilsner, and water.
The service was quick and friendly. A great idea, worth repeating.
