13/07/2026: I dined here for the first time with my partner, I was completely satisfied and contented, the food was delicious, the service was quick, punctual, present but not intrusive, the staff young and knowledgeable. Congratulations indeed, we will be back as soon as possible.

21/06/2026: The Riva restaurant in Ponte dell'Olio is at the top of my personal list of the best restaurants I've tried. It's certainly not cheap—I can't go there every day or every week—but the price is entirely justified by both the dishes and the excellent wine list.

14/06/2026: It wasn't our first time, but today there were 11 of us for lunch, many of whom had never been to this restaurant before. As always, everything was perfect! I recommend it because the menu offers some very intriguing dishes, and I must admit, it's difficult to choose! We were all very happy. Thanks to Carla and Maurizio for making us feel so welcome.

12/08/2026: Let's just say it was a positive experience. Their morsikotti were delicious and the pizza dough was fabulous. The prices are pretty fair if we were to compare price and quality. I'd probably go back.

08/08/2026: I ordered a pizza to go, it arrived in the car, I opened the box and there was mold in it. Check the quality of the product directly at the checkout.

14/08/2026: A lovely restaurant with a refined atmosphere. The service and food are both top-quality. It's worth a stop, both at lunchtime and in the evening. A stroll through the nearby beautiful piazza of Agazzano is a short stroll away. In the summer, you can enjoy lunch overlooking the castle.

17/05/2026: Now an institution in Piacenza, given its long history, it's always popular. It's a pleasure to enjoy a beer with friends. I recommend even those who aren't fans of the genre to stop by at least once.

31/05/2026: A nice surprise in the small town. We drove by and found it by surprise. Very good quality hotel, nice combination of modern rooms and very nice interior with some antique details downstairs. Beds were comfortable, all was well designed and thought through. Restaurant had good food for dinner as well as breakfast. But the best part was warm service. These people genuinely enjoyed their work, offered warm welcome with professional and experienced touch. Highly recommend for quality stay.

20/04/2026: We stayed one night at Hotel Mathis, and overall, the experience was a mix of very positive aspects and others that could definitely be improved. The property is a charming little hotel, with a lovely historic tavern attached that's well worth a visit: the food is excellent and definitely worth the stop. The staff was extremely kind and helpful, but unfortunately, a certain inexperience in customer service was evident. Despite their friendliness, we didn't feel particularly welcomed as guests. The room, though small, was well-maintained, clean, and comfortable (the double pillows were much appreciated). However, we noticed a water leak from the ceiling. We didn't request a room change simply because we were staying one night and had already used the room, but we did report it. It was very hot that night, and the air conditioning wasn't working because the seasonal changeover hadn't yet been completed: an aspect that definitely needs to be addressed better. We had also booked dinner via the app, but we felt that canceling the reservation was almost more welcome than keeping it. Considering the problems we encountered, we would have expected at least a small gesture of thoughtfulness (even a symbolic one... even just offering a liqueur), which unfortunately didn't arrive. In short: a property with great potential, good food, and friendly staff, but it needs greater attention to detail and the overall guest experience.

02/08/2026: Very cute and classic place, the flavors are fantastic. Not only do they have really funny names, but they're also delicious. I had the white peach one, and it really felt like I was biting into the fruit, very natural.
