20/04/2026: We stayed one night at Hotel Mathis, and overall, the experience was a mix of very positive aspects and others that could definitely be improved. The property is a charming little hotel, with a lovely historic tavern attached that's well worth a visit: the food is excellent and definitely worth the stop. The staff was extremely kind and helpful, but unfortunately, a certain inexperience in customer service was evident. Despite their friendliness, we didn't feel particularly welcomed as guests. The room, though small, was well-maintained, clean, and comfortable (the double pillows were much appreciated). However, we noticed a water leak from the ceiling. We didn't request a room change simply because we were staying one night and had already used the room, but we did report it. It was very hot that night, and the air conditioning wasn't working because the seasonal changeover hadn't yet been completed: an aspect that definitely needs to be addressed better. We had also booked dinner via the app, but we felt that canceling the reservation was almost more welcome than keeping it. Considering the problems we encountered, we would have expected at least a small gesture of thoughtfulness (even a symbolic one... even just offering a liqueur), which unfortunately didn't arrive. In short: a property with great potential, good food, and friendly staff, but it needs greater attention to detail and the overall guest experience.

18/02/2026: A very nice B&B. The room was small, there were three of us, but it was fine for one night. The room and bathroom were clean and had all the amenities. The breakfast was excellent. There's a lovely restaurant where you can have lunch or dinner, but I didn't use it. I definitely recommend this place for visiting the nearby Piacenza hills.

09/06/2026: A good dinner, fresh breaded porcini mushrooms and excellently prepared seafood. The rest was also good. The atmosphere may be a little dated, but the service is friendly, but it's a lovely evening.

The selection is always varied, both meat and fish, and the menu includes an entrée, a main course, a dessert, a coffee, a glass of wine, and water. All for €15 if the main course is a first course or €20 if it's a second course. The service is fast and friendly. In short, TOP

21/04/2026: We had lunch at this agriturismo to celebrate my mother's 70th birthday, and we can say without a doubt that it was a truly special day. We were greeted with great kindness and warmth by Mrs. Patrizia. We immediately felt at ease, as if we were at home, even though it was our first visit. The location is enchanting, with a beautiful view, and the service was impeccable: they carefully advised us on the selection of dishes and portions. The food? Simply excellent. Typical Piacenza cuisine prepared as it should be: excellent cured meats, tasty fried foods, and truly delicious pisarei and risotto. A special thank you also goes to the delicious birthday cake they prepared for the occasion: a gesture we truly appreciated. Overall, it was a wonderful experience in every way. The hospitality and attention truly make the difference, and it's precisely these details that make you want to return. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!

08/05/2026: The pizza was good, the service wasn't the fastest, but we went at 2:20 PM, almost at closing time, which is 3:00 PM. The option to choose the thickness of the pizza was nice.

08/05/2026: I've already been there twice for lunch (two business menus available) and dinner, and on both occasions, despite the place being busy, we were served quickly. The pizza, both thin and thick, was excellent, and the beers were good. The prices were absolutely reasonable.

17/05/2026: Now an institution in Piacenza, given its long history, it's always popular. It's a pleasure to enjoy a beer with friends. I recommend even those who aren't fans of the genre to stop by at least once.

Especially nowadays, when every other trattoria/pizzeria/restaurant takes advantage of their customers with exorbitant prices, here you'll find kindness, service, courtesy, helpfulness, location, elegance, refined cuisine, and excellent fish and meat dishes. The quality/price ratio is beyond excellent. The Padella and tagliolini are my favorite dishes! I asked for a little surprise for my husband for his birthday and they immediately obliged with a delicious dessert. You guys are wonderful, keep it up... see you in the summer at the Loggia!!!
