09/05/2026: A fantastic place!!! I'm glad my previous place was closed and I discovered this one thanks to Maps. It's not just a restaurant; there are little cabins where you can spend the weekend in total peace, quiet, and tranquility. The staff is friendly and very kind, especially considering the unexpected storm that kept us indoors since we were on our motorcycles. The food is absolutely delicious!!! Too bad I'm on a diet... but we'll definitely be back to try something else. Recommended for all bikers!!! After all the curves, a healthy place to stop and relax.

07/06/2026: Excellent quality fish. We had two great appetizers and a mixed grill. There were two of us, and we were full by the end.
The service was prompt and attentive. I should mention that I dropped a silverware, and without asking, the waitress came over less than a minute later with a replacement. I find this kind of attention to be highly appreciated. My only complaint is that the coffee affogato at €8 is perhaps a bit pricey, even though it's off the menu. Otherwise, everything was fine.

05/04/2026: The gentleman behind the counter was very rude and unfriendly. Initially, he didn't want to give us what we'd asked for, and only after a bit of persistence did he give in. When we asked again, however, they preferred to tell us the product was out rather than serve us. A decidedly negative experience.
13/03/2026: One of the best pubs I've been to in Piacenza. The interior is wonderful: warm, welcoming, and full of character, with that authentic pub atmosphere that immediately makes you want to stay longer than expected. Sitting outside is also pleasant when the weather permits.
The burgers are slightly higher than average, but the quality fully justifies the cost: well-chosen ingredients and memorable flavors. The selection of beers is also excellent, unique and well-diversified, perfect to accompany the meal.
The appetizers are also very good, and I even appreciated the coffee, a detail not always found in a pub.
It's one of those places where you can relax without rushing, ideal for enjoying an evening with friends, chatting and sharing stories over a delicious meal.
I can't wait to return to explore the rest of the menu and discover what else this successful establishment has to offer.

11/03/2026: I went to this bar with a friend during my lunch break, which unfortunately only lasts 20 minutes, and the experience was truly awful.
The wait was very long, definitely incompatible with such a short break. Furthermore, the staff was not at all friendly: their attitude was rather unpleasant and it almost felt like we had to rush through everything, without the slightest attention to the customers.
Not to mention the sandwich: very small, with very little filling, and not even very good quality. Overall, the food was really poor. Considering the rather high price for what we ate, the value for money was very disappointing.
In the end, due to the extremely long wait and the small portions, the experience was truly awful. We won't be returning.
18/02/2026: The sandwiches are really delicious! The place is beautiful and welcoming, and the girls are very kind and welcoming.
I highly recommend it; I go back as often as I can, and it's always worth it!

22/07/2025: E' sempre un gran piacere tornare al Barca, innanzitutto per la gentilezza e la professionalità del proprietario e del personale di sala (manca molto la signora che abitualmente accoglieva la clientela e gestiva il carrello dei bolliti, alla quale va il nostro caro ricordo). E' sempre un gran piacere inoltre degustare i salumi e i primi piatti della tradizione piacentina e i bolliti misti che oggi, però, non abbiamo ordinato a causa del caldo. Rimedieremo in autunno! Ampia scelta di dolci. Buon vino, un gutturnio della casa e prezzo adeguato alla qualità dei prodotti offerti. I nostri complimenti, come sempre!

Sapori autentici e ben bilanciati, che dimostrano grande attenzione nella scelta degli ingredienti e nella preparazione. Anche il servizio è stato impeccabile: il personale è cortese, disponibile e molto attento, sempre pronto a soddisfare ogni esigenza con discrezione. Prezzi onesti per un’esperienza culinaria di livello. Consigliatissimo

01/05/2026: Having simply walked in to ask for a coffee, I was met with a surreal scene: a man yelling at the waiter, demanding that he say "outside" and not come in because they don't make coffee there.
Beyond the legitimate decision not to serve something so basic, what's truly perplexing is the manner. In a sector where hospitality is an integral part of the experience, witnessing such aggressive tones and unprofessional management is unacceptable.
Restaurant is more than just food: it's respect, communication, and customer service—even when the customer simply asks for a coffee.
An episode that speaks for itself. Avoid this place.
