25/03/2026: An old-fashioned trattoria, just like it used to be. When you arrive, there's already a portion of cured meats and pickled vegetables on the table, and a bottle of sparkling wine already opened, ready to be drunk! So even if you don't want them, like me who has to avoid them, they're already there, and you can eat a little! Then we had two ricotta and spinach tortelli, which here are made in upright squares, flavorful, with a lovely garlicky mushroom sauce. Unfortunately, there was only one rib for the main course; we ordered that and a boiled meat dish, which unfortunately only had stuffing and beef, fries, and a salad that arrived already dressed. Everything was good, but both the tortelli and the main course arrived barely warm. For dessert, two slices of tart and two slices of carrot cake arrived, both good. Coffee and nocino/bargnolino liqueur, €50.00 for two.

15/12/2025: A truly authentic trattoria, embodying the spirit of welcoming and feeding people (and not making money). Honest cuisine, authentic flavors, and an authentic atmosphere. Worth preserving.

08/11/2025: Had lunch today with a friend, everything was very good, fair price!!!!

30/10/2025: Various cured meats as an appetizer, including salami, coppa, pancetta, culatello, and prosciutto crudo. What can I say... in the Nure Valley, you're never disappointed... for our first course, we tried the excellent tagliolini with mushrooms. Very good... Attentive and friendly service. Excellent value.

24/05/2026: The atmosphere is simple, spartan, and clean. The service is kind and courteous. Food: there's only one appetizer: cheeses and cured meats, and an excellent sauce. But at least one alternative, like a vegetable tart, could be a good idea... The lemon tortelli are good, the tagliata is good, but the potatoes could be improved. The desserts.... The parfaits definitely need to be revisited! The chef is young, so I hope to return and find improvements everywhere, both in the atmosphere and the food... all in all, a thumbs up.

17/04/2026: A traditional trattoria, albeit run by a very young chef. The atmosphere is quiet, the rooms clean and tidy, the service friendly and professional, the dishes are traditional Piacenza dishes (the lemon tortelli are excellent and original, the pisarei are very good), and the sparkling Gutturnio is excellent. Prices are truly reasonable: the three of us ordered three generous appetizers of excellent cured meats and cheeses, three first courses, three second courses, three desserts (the apple tart was delicious), two large bottles of mineral water (not still water), plus coffee and an after-dinner drink, kindly offered by the owner, for a total of less than €40 per person. Recommended for both the food and the kindness and treatment we received, as well as for the price.

08/06/2026: A typical old-fashioned trattoria, with a few dishes, but good ones. Generous portions. Reasonably priced. Ample private parking. I'll be back. Having returned, I confirm my first impression: a few dishes, generous, and overall tasty. Reasonably priced.

10/05/2026: We're from France, and this restaurant was recommended to us for its famous pizzas! Upon arrival, the welcome was very mediocre. We asked for a firm red wine, which wasn't available 😶, so we settled for beer. The pizza was okay, nothing special, as the "Quatre Sasta" pizza had very little topping. We've had better pizzas at Bettola or Farini. The final straw was that a fight broke out right next to our table... like three other customers, we left the "restaurant" immediately but still paid the bill (2 pizzas and 2 beers = €26). No apology from the waitress or anyone else... We left disgusted. Obviously, we don't recommend this establishment because it attracts a bad crowd! Avoid it, even if you're hungry. There are other restaurants on the church square in the center of Bettola that offer better dishes or pizzas. If I could, I'd give it zero stars. Yours sincerely.
