02/12/2025: A curious and detailed atmosphere. The menu satisfies a wide range of palates. The dining room, in the winter months and for those who are particularly sensitive to the cold, can be a bit chilly, but unless you sit near the heaters in the dining room, a sweater or jacket, or a less heavy option, a good bottle of red wine, will make it a breeze!

The food is top-notch, with those simple yet uniquely flavorful home-style dishes, always fresh ingredients, and interesting specials. The staff is fantastic; you always feel at home, which isn't a given, without ever being intrusive, always kind and friendly. Go there, you won't regret it.

21/09/2025: We just celebrated a friend's wedding at a beautiful, well-maintained farmhouse with a breathtaking view of the Trebbia Valley and its vineyards. A varied and generous appetizer of cured meats, probably homemade by the owners, excellent traditional Piacenza first courses, and an excellent grilled meat.

28/08/2025: Beautiful location, spectacular views, everything spotlessly clean, spacious, and well-maintained. Quick and efficient staff. The agreed-upon menu for €45 included an excellent appetizer of mixed cured meats, culaccia (a type of pork shoulder) and cooked pancetta, as well as fried gnocco. Delicious pisarei pasta, excellent tortelli with butter and sage. The tagliata (a type of steak) with baked potatoes was very good (even our friends who live in the US and enjoy meat cooked in every way approved with great satisfaction). 2 Bottles of Gutturnio (for 6 people), water, dessert (the apple sorbet is amazing), and a house after-dinner drink. They have another menu for just over €30, but it's a bit smaller. Everyone was truly satisfied with both the quality and quantity, especially the first courses. I repeat, a truly beautiful place. If you're looking for that little something extra that nature and good taste can offer, this is an excellent option.

13/10/2025: Always nice for breakfast and aperitifs, but unfortunately the bar is frequented by uncivilized people. There are frequent fights. I feel sorry for the manager and the employees. I recommend it.

07/11/2025: Well-filled sandwiches at a fair price. It's a shame the meat was a bit salty, otherwise it would have been top-notch. It'll definitely be better next time.

26/10/2025: A sandwich with a rare flavor, exceptional meat, and soft bread that perfectly captures all the ingredients. I had the royal burger, with double meat stuffed with cheese, truly perfect, well-cooked, and juicy. I'm adding a photo of the menu, for those of us who happen to be passing through Piacenza. The restaurant offers mixed grills upon reservation. If the quality is similar to the burger, it must be a great experience!

22/10/2025: Historic restaurant if you like meat I recommend it without a doubt they are specialists in fillets, ribs and Florentine steaks everything very good impeccable service very nice place with rustic style brick vaults fair prices based on what you eat... the only small tip is a spotlight in the parking lot behind the restaurant which is really dark everything else perfect I will gladly return

02/11/2025: On a friend's recommendation, we went here for lunch, and I have to say it was a wonderful surprise. Starting with the truly charming place, everything was well-organized, it felt like home. The owner was incredibly kind, but above all, he explained every single course with a smile. The food—well, what can I say?—was simply magnificent, from the cured meats to the house wine, the delicious first courses, and especially the homemade desserts. All this at reasonable prices, and the portions were truly large and filling. We'll be back!

19/10/2025: A sweet and delicious stop in the beautiful village of Bobbio that's good for the soul and the stomach! The kindness and engaging nature of the owner make all the difference. The food is sublime... different flavors, but everything is balanced. I truly recommend this place.

02/09/2025: A refined and very welcoming place, with extraordinary dishes, carefully prepared, and with unique and delicious flavor combinations! I enjoyed the turmeric lentil cream soup, as well as the caramelized plum cup. The wine list is worthy of a fine wine bar.
