11/07/2025: A fantastic campsite. Very friendly. It's just a shame the restaurant was closed when we were there. But hopefully, we'll stop there again on our way back from vacation, and we'll definitely try the restaurant then.

23/07/2025: Nice, helpful staff - we got a table quickly, even though we arrived right in the middle of the hot hour, when we had to work at full speed :) The place was full of locals, simple and very tasty food at a great price, it's a shame we'll miss this place on the way back :)

16/07/2025: I passed through Piacenza yesterday with some friends for a concert, and I decided to stop at this restaurant, I can only say incredible Carbonara and one-liter beers drunk from the Mondiali jug.

12/07/2025: Not just a simple dinner, but a true sensory experience for the eyes and the palate. The refined dishes and the use of the highest-quality ingredients make the meal a unique pleasure. The traditional Piacenza dishes, revisited and interpreted in a more modern style, are unique and unmatched anywhere else, so much so that some are even "registered trademarks" to protect their quality. The various wine pairings recommended by the sommelier are the icing on the cake: each dish pairs with a different wine that represents the natural continuation of the flavor you're savoring. It's fascinating to listen to every detail of the bottle being poured. The setting is visually stunning, with well-spaced tables and large windows offering views of the equally meticulously maintained exterior. The service is top-notch, with explanations of the dishes served, meticulous attention to detail, such as table cleaning, changing cutlery for each course, changing glasses for each wine, and rearranging seats when a guest leaves temporarily. Of course, you can ask for any uneaten food to be taken away. A very welcome detail is the hand-made ravioli with a magnet that is given to each guest. The price is reasonable for what we've just described and truly well spent. In conclusion, you have to visit Palta at least once in your life. Hats off!

09/07/2025: Only now, after almost a year, did I realize my review hadn't been published. Google problems. I'll fix it immediately. I treated my girlfriend to a la palta lunch for her birthday, and it was one of the best choices I could have made. We had the "you're in my hands" menu, and every dish was a pleasant discovery and a thrill. We truly enjoyed everything, including the service. Special mention because they were also kind enough to bring a birthday candle and a dessert with "happy birthday" written on it. You can really feel the loving hands that prepared everything in the dishes. I can't wait to return to try new menus.

08/08/2025: A historic restaurant serving traditional cuisine located in the Piacenza countryside near Castell'Arquato. The dishes are tasty and refined, especially the herb tortellini, the cured meats, and the traditional burtleina (a must-try) side dish. The sweet treats offered with coffee are appreciated. Prices are higher than other typical trattorias in the area. Areas for improvement would include a wider selection of desserts, more generous portions, and the owners' hospitality.

03/08/2025: The cuisine is excellent and authentic. The welcome is perfect, with great kindness and friendliness, creating a family atmosphere. The service is impeccable. We had a wonderful dinner and thoroughly enjoyed it!

17/07/2025: Ristorante nella ZTL del centro storico (quindi preparatevi ad una bella camminata dal parcheggio). Cucina tipica emiliana. Vorrebbe darsi un tono. Rapporto qualità (del cibo) prezzo mediocre. Andiamo in famiglia (4) per festeggiare il compleanno di un figlio. Tutto bene fino a quando nel tavolo per due addossato alla parete dietro di me si installa una coppia con un barboncino e si fanno portare una sedia supplementare che mettono alle mie spalle (chiudendo il passaggio per i camerieri) su cui fanno accomodare il cane. Avete capito bene, il cane seduto sulla sedia con il muso a livello del tavolo a 10 cm dal mio schienale! Non so se fossi più infuriato per la maleducazione del cliente (nei confronti degli altri avventori) o l’insipienza del gestore che non ha detto nulla. Le condizioni igieniche minime di un luogo pubblico non erano rispettate! Sarei curioso di sapere se il cane ha pagato il coperto (visto che era seduto al tavolo). Se avessi voluto fare comunella con un cane sarei andato al canile municipale, non a un’Osteria che vorrebbe darsi un tono! Mai più!

Very fresh and quality fish. Recommended. And then added value in the summer the square of Agazzano fills with life, it feels like being on vacation... And we live 1 km away but we are always amazed by this summer change. THANK YOU FRICANDO '!

20/05/2025: If we want a tasty fish menu, perhaps accompanied by a Spritz, especially in the summer when we dine in the square of Agazzano, we come here, where we are always welcomed with big smiles and lots of friendliness. The menu varies but I never miss their tuna prosciutto! The prices are a little above average but the quality of the food is really excellent. Recommended!

21/07/2025: This trattoria has been a trusted name for years and has undergone a thorough renovation, now boasting a refined and well-maintained location (in summer you can also dine in the beautiful outdoor area). The outdoor menu features local ingredients, where everything is homemade. The extraordinary, authentic dishes are truly impeccable. The owner Filippo, whose passion has improved the restaurant over the years, recommends making a reservation, as it's always busy.

21/07/2025: Tasty dishes and carefully selected ingredients. The service was attentive and courteous. It's a shame the peaceful evening was ruined by a large, noisy, and rowdy group. The place, however, is top-notch!

05/05/2025: Il frigo vetrina, posto all'ingresso dell'antico edificio di pietra recentemente ristrutturato, con all'interno grossi pesci appesi a frollare, ci introducono in un mondo fatto di passione, sperimentazione, tecnica e ricerca. L'ambiente è elegante e l'accoglienza cordiale. Il menu è quasi incomprensibile per la quantità di ingredienti insoliti utilizzati per preparare le pietanze. Il crudo di corba rossa è tenero e armonioso ed il risotto alla milanese di mare un poco anonimo. Sorprendente l'animella di vitello alla brace con tamarindo. La carta dei vini è discreta e con ricarichi corretti. Gradita la piccola pasticceria offerta in chiusura. Alla fine della serata resta la sensazione di avere speso bene i 70 euro del conto.

10/04/2025: Sempre una bella conferma! Conoscevamo già questi ragazzi dal Ca' Longa e ci eravamo ripromessi di venire a provare il menù della Ca' di Sass, che rimane rustica ma scenografica. I piatti parlano da sé. Personale di sala molto competente e mai invadente. Piacevolissima serata.

21/06/2025: Today after a long time I returned to eat at this place. A disappointment. I would say that the food has gotten worse. We ate for two a platter of cold cuts about 200 grams with fried cake, tortelli di eretta, 9 each a bottle of gotturnio 2 bottles of water and a dessert, three pieces of sbrisolona cake with a spoonful of mascarpone cream. The best part was when the bill came, the mascarpone cream that accompanied the cake was charged as a second dessert. An incredible thing. Total paid 94 euros. For me it is a crazy price. I certainly will not return to this place.

27/07/2025: Simply the best gelato shop in the world. I've been getting gelato here since I was able to eat it, and 30 years later, even though I no longer live in Piacenza, I still come back. Never change.

21/07/2025: We went for lunch on Sunday. Nicola (an old friend) was always so kind and welcoming. The appetizer, gnocco fritto with cured meats, was top notch! The trio of first courses, ravioli with venison ragu, pisarei, and malfatti with ricotta, butter, and sage, were all excellent, well-cooked, well-seasoned, and above all, top-quality. No main courses because they were so overdone! What can I say? It's worth trying, we'll be back.... To try the main courses and desserts...I forgot, the Gutturnio wine and the local Amaro are excellent!!!

13/07/2025: --- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A jewel of Piacenza cuisine! We were thrilled with every aspect of this restaurant! The atmosphere is welcoming and meticulously cared for, with a warm and authentic feel that makes you feel right at home. The staff is incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and always smiling: a true added value. But the real star is the food: traditional Piacenza dishes executed impeccably. The tortelli with roe deer sauce were simply spectacular, with a thin pastry and a flavorful filling. The maltagliati, then, made us understand why Piacenza cuisine deserves a place of honor among the great Italian regional cuisines. The meats were cooked to perfection; we ate the truly spectacular horse carpaccio with arugula and parmesan, along with top-quality local cured meats and a well-stocked wine list featuring excellent local labels. All at a price that's absolutely right for the quality offered. Highly recommended for those seeking authenticity, flavor, and a memorable dining experience. We'll be back.
