09/05/2026: A fantastic place!!! I'm glad my previous place was closed and I discovered this one thanks to Maps. It's not just a restaurant; there are little cabins where you can spend the weekend in total peace, quiet, and tranquility. The staff is friendly and very kind, especially considering the unexpected storm that kept us indoors since we were on our motorcycles. The food is absolutely delicious!!! Too bad I'm on a diet... but we'll definitely be back to try something else. Recommended for all bikers!!! After all the curves, a healthy place to stop and relax.

19/05/2026: Typical trattoria very pleasant in the decor with kind and fast staff (the place was full and we waited just enough) excellent food I particularly appreciated the first courses the bowl for the wine is worthy of note our compliments we will definitely return when we are in the Piacenza area

11/05/2026: The staff is knowledgeable and extremely friendly. The food is reminiscent of the old Piacenza taverns, with a focus on local ingredients. We ate very well. The bill was reasonable. I had the best Ganassino I've had in years. We'll definitely be back.

19/05/2026: Nestled in a small hamlet, this culinary treasure is hidden away. La Palta upholds Piacenza's reputation for excellence in the restaurant business. Its Michelin star is well-deserved! The key concepts here are local tradition and simplicity. Dishes generally feature few ingredients, most of which come from the Piacenza area. In some cases, the producers are just 1 or 2 km away! Pasta is this restaurant's signature ingredient. Just looking at the entire tasting menu dedicated to it is enough to understand its importance here. Whether ravioli, tagliolini, tortelli, or whatever, the quality of the ingredients and their cooking are unquestionable! I highly recommend the "You Are in My Hands" tasting menu, which you can see in the photos. The dish that struck me most was "Ravioli between West and East," which, using few ingredients and appearing so simple, overwhelms with its flavors and leaves an indelible memory. Seconds are a must! For my tastes, the best option is to let the excellent sommelier guide you. His selection of local and seemingly simple wines is astonishing, yet they hold their own and sometimes surpass more prestigious bottles. His explanations are perfect and suitable for everyone. You can adjust the number of glasses paired with your meal; for example, you can ask for one per dish, as I did. You can also ask him to surprise you even further, as I did 😄! Off-menu, I also had the honor of trying the "Raviolo di ravioli," a collection of ravioli in progressively aged Parmigiano Reggiano. A maximum of 101 months of aging makes for an unforgettable pleasure! The price is very fair for a Michelin-starred restaurant of this caliber. €120 for the menu, €80 for 8 glasses + cover charge and water, for a total of €220 per person. Compliments to the entire staff for their professionalism and friendliness! Thank you, Isa, for elevating the name of Piacenza with your cuisine!

20/04/2026: We stayed one night at Hotel Mathis, and overall, the experience was a mix of very positive aspects and others that could definitely be improved. The property is a charming little hotel, with a lovely historic tavern attached that's well worth a visit: the food is excellent and definitely worth the stop. The staff was extremely kind and helpful, but unfortunately, a certain inexperience in customer service was evident. Despite their friendliness, we didn't feel particularly welcomed as guests. The room, though small, was well-maintained, clean, and comfortable (the double pillows were much appreciated). However, we noticed a water leak from the ceiling. We didn't request a room change simply because we were staying one night and had already used the room, but we did report it. It was very hot that night, and the air conditioning wasn't working because the seasonal changeover hadn't yet been completed: an aspect that definitely needs to be addressed better. We had also booked dinner via the app, but we felt that canceling the reservation was almost more welcome than keeping it. Considering the problems we encountered, we would have expected at least a small gesture of thoughtfulness (even a symbolic one... even just offering a liqueur), which unfortunately didn't arrive. In short: a property with great potential, good food, and friendly staff, but it needs greater attention to detail and the overall guest experience.

18/02/2026: A very nice B&B. The room was small, there were three of us, but it was fine for one night. The room and bathroom were clean and had all the amenities. The breakfast was excellent. There's a lovely restaurant where you can have lunch or dinner, but I didn't use it. I definitely recommend this place for visiting the nearby Piacenza hills.

16/06/2026: Incredible place. If they closed your eyes to take you there without knowing where you're going, you'd never know you were in Piacenza. We ate mostly meat, and I have to say, it was amazing, perfectly cooked and excellent value for money. I've been recommending it for days.

19/05/2026: This restaurant serves traditional dishes, using natural, local ingredients. Some dishes seem to have been pulled from the '80s, making them delicious. Their specialty is a rice timbale stuffed with pigeon (the portion is for four, but if you're two, order the same so you can take the leftovers home). The flavor is remarkable, yet light and pleasant. The wine list is extensive and very reasonably priced. The service is informal yet friendly, making us feel more at home than at a restaurant.

15/07/2026: I ate very well, and so did my family. The service was provided by young, friendly people, and I hadn't remembered the food being this good. The price wasn't modest, but it was still adequate for what we ate and drank.

13/07/2026: Everything is excellent, from the appetizers to the first courses (the tortelli piacentini alle erbette were superb), the second courses (this time I tried the tartare), and the mushrooms, always delicious (we recommend the trios for fried and sautéed porcini mushrooms). Excellent wine list; good and efficient service; a serene and romantic atmosphere with plenty of seating and an outdoor terrace. Prices are moderately high, but absolutely worth it.

03/07/2026: An excellent experience in the heart of Piacenza My wife and I have dined at Enoteca da Renato several times and are increasingly enthusiastic each time. The atmosphere is intimate and refined, perfect for an evening for two. Each dish stands out for the excellent quality of the ingredients and the perfect blend of tradition and a touch of sophistication. Two nights ago in particular, we started with an excellent appetizer of quality Piacenza cured meats, followed by exquisite fish main courses, such as roasted octopus and a revisited parmigiana, truly worth trying. The wine selection, with interesting local labels, and the attentive yet unobtrusive service deserve special mention. This is a true Piacenza gem for those who love good food and wine.
