03/04/2026: We wanted to just have pizza, so we did: it was very special, surprising us with the delicate dough and excellent leavening. I chose a gourmet pizza: a white pizza with buffalo stracciatella, mortadella, and chopped pistachios. Compared to other pizzas in other places, it looked smaller, but halfway through, I was already full. My husband appreciated the simplicity of a Neapolitan pizza along with an excellent German craft beer, and he was also very satisfied. So, in addition to the kindness and professionalism of the all-female staff, the pizza was delicious, enjoyed in a relaxed atmosphere. ☺️ Thank you

05/11/2025: A well-preserved and charming castle located a short distance from Piacenza, with 15th-century towers, a large internal courtyard with pleasant green spaces, and a perimeter moat. It often hosts events, including the interesting Fair of Ancient Fruits and Flowers, featuring displays of artisanal food and textiles. The only complaint is the restrooms, consisting of unhygienic cubicles that are inadequate for the high number of people attending the various events.

13/04/2026: Small, cozy restaurant serving traditional cuisine. A generous, excellent appetizer featuring local cured meats and fried gnocco (fried dumplings) accompanied by various sauces and fried polenta. The first courses are masterfully prepared: fantastic tortelli, and truly excellent pisarei e faso. I went with three friends. We were served by a woman named Francesca. She welcomed us in a friendly manner, never intrusive, and professionally recommended our meals. Congratulations, Francesca! A restaurant with excellent value for money. RECOMMENDED!

10/04/2026: I had the opportunity to savor their delicious platter, which included delicacies like gnocco fritto and sulumi. The gnocco fritto was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, offering an irresistible contrast of textures. The sulumi was incredibly flavorful and melted in your mouth. The rustic, welcoming atmosphere of the place added an authentic touch to the dining experience. Not only were the dishes delicious, but the prices were also truly reasonable for the quality. Without a doubt, this place is a gem for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Piacenza delicacies in an inviting setting.

14/04/2026: We stayed three nights with our camper. The agri-campsite is beautiful! All amenities are available. Clean and tidy. You can purchase farm products: don't miss the honey, their delicious hazelnut spread, and Bargnolino cheese. The restaurant serves delicious traditional Piacenza dishes, definitely worth trying. Thanks to Michele for his hospitality, kindness, and friendliness. We'll be back and highly recommend it.

24/02/2026: It's been a while since I've eaten like this. We went with a group of friends. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and the staff was very kind and friendly. The owners, two young guys, were amazing!!! Everything was thought out and prepared with LOVE. Highly recommended. :)

09/02/2026: A truly pleasant discovery!! A very well-kept and truly elegant place!! The service and courtesy at the table, even for the little ones! The dishes are of the highest quality!!! The chef comes to the table to introduce himself together with his wife who is with you throughout the meal and takes care of the details! Both are excellent!!

20/04/2026: If you're looking for authentic Piacenza cuisine in a refined and relaxing atmosphere, Antica Osteria dal Cavaliere Nero is a must-visit. Located in a quiet hamlet in the Podenzano countryside, the establishment offers ample parking, a welcome touch. The atmosphere and service: The welcome was immediate and professional: we were immediately escorted to our table, bringing water, bread, and a menu with no waiting. We dined on a spacious and bright veranda, truly pleasant. The menu: The offerings are a tribute to local tradition: Appetizers: Excellent cured meats accompanied by a fragrant torta fritta and a homemade giardiniera, fortunately delicate and not too vinegary. First courses: The selection ranges from classics like pisarei and fasöi, anolini with braised meat sauce, and excellent tagliatelle with duck ragù. Second courses: Hearty dishes like stuffed guinea fowl, roast coppa, and a tender pork shoulder. The bill: The value for money is exceptional. For a shared appetizer, two first courses, a dessert, a half liter of Gutturnio, water, and two coffees, we spent €60. The portions were generous and the ingredients were top-quality. We'll definitely be back!

18/02/2026: A very nice B&B. The room was small, there were three of us, but it was fine for one night. The room and bathroom were clean and had all the amenities. The breakfast was excellent. There's a lovely restaurant where you can have lunch or dinner, but I didn't use it. I definitely recommend this place for visiting the nearby Piacenza hills.

Excellent tortelli con la coda (tortelli with tail) and an exceptional rice bomb. The other dishes on the menu make you want to come back to try them. Extensive wine list. Friendly, attentive, and unobtrusive service. Reasonable prices for the quality.
