28/03/2025: We returned after a few years, and I must say we were just as pleased as we remembered. The place is beautiful and unique, with excellent service, always attentive but discreet. The food was a wonderful surprise in the truest sense of the word. You don't know what you're eating until it's brought to your table. It was beautifully presented, but more importantly, the owner explained the ingredients and preparation in great detail. A custom worthy of praise is that any leftover bread is placed in a bag to take away. P.S. A wonderful potato bread is served hot during dinner, which unfortunately I wasn't able to photograph, as were the other courses, including a wonderful welcome cocktail.

23/09/2025: I had breakfast at Pasticceria Ambrosia and it was a truly delicious experience. The brioche was soft and fragrant, made with great care, and the cappuccino was creamy and perfectly balanced. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the passion of the people who work here. The atmosphere is welcoming and the service is kind and cheerful, making the visit even more enjoyable. I recommend everyone to stop by: a true haven of goodness and sweetness.

26/04/2025: An informal venue, which offers both classic dishes and some Australian specialities. I chose the dish of the day: Buffalo entrecôte, delicate flavour, perfectly cooked, my wife had an "Australian style" mixed fry, that is, accompanied by sauces, vegetables and even fruit! The starters are also good. Really friendly staff and fair price. We will be back to try other specialties.

The outdoor area is small but very well-kept and comfortable. Food: A wide selection of truly high-quality dishes. Balanced flavors and fresh ingredients. The fish is above-average quality. The plating is simple but elegant and pleasing to the eye. Good wines. The desserts are a must-try, a perfect finish to an excellent meal. Service: Impeccable. Attentive but not intrusive. Friendly. Knowledgeable about the menu, it enhanced my dining experience. Value for Money: In my opinion, excellent. Fair price and high food quality. Plus: Very friendly and approachable owner. Attentive to the tastes and needs of his guests. A perfect place for romantic dinners but also for outings with friends. Ample parking. Recommended.

13/09/2025: I've been coming here as often as I can since I discovered this gem a few months ago. Everything is taken care of down to the smallest detail: from the ambiance to the service. The food is definitely the highlight. The ingredients are fresh, seasonal—the menu changes daily and offers a variety of meat and fish options. It's definitely the best fish I've ever eaten in Piacenza. The first courses are equally delicious. They also offer a fixed lunch menu, so for €25 you get an entrée, first course, second course, dessert/fruit, a glass of wine, water, and coffee—so the price is truly excellent for such an excellent offering. I recommend it to everyone.

03/06/2025: The gelato in this place is amasing!!! My go-to gelateria when I am in Piacenza. Gelato is really creamy and zero ice crystals. The real deal gelato. Bravi team Gelateria Brivido!!! Keep up with the good work. Ciao

07/10/2025: I only had an aperitif, and the cocktail was well-made. It came with a small caper tray with a few chips, some bitter chips, a few olives, and two small bowls of creamy sauce—good. But without a slice of bread, a crouton, where would it go? I had to eat it like that.... The service is good and precise, and the staff is polite. The interior is small but cute and well-kept. Outside, you have the square and the Duomo in front of you, very beautiful. I think that for the price of the cocktail (certainly in line with other places), a few more chips wouldn't have hurt, although, to be fair, we asked for them and they arrived without a problem!

11/09/2025: A very simple but welcoming atmosphere. An old-fashioned trattoria with traditional dishes. Excellent cured meats and torta fritta, highly recommended for both lunch and dinner.

30/09/2025: We were in Piacenza on business. We called and made a reservation. Very friendly staff. Fast service. Menu features traditional and non-traditional dishes. We ordered a charcuterie board with giardiniera (pickled vegetables), a cheese board with mustards, a potato tart with Taleggio cream, and two plates of traditional Piacenza ravioli filled with ricotta and spinach, dressed with butter and sage. All washed down with a half-liter of Bonarda from the Piacenza hills. Everything was delicious, the atmosphere was quiet, and there was on-site parking. The prices were very reasonable for the quality. I highly recommend it.
