23/05/2025: We discovered this place thanks to the recommendations of the owners of the accommodation where we booked. Travo is a village that rises on the Piacenza hills and lies on the banks of the Trebbia river; arriving at dinner time here you can breathe the air of a working day just finished. Entering the tavern you encounter the history of this village and of the family that for four generations has brought to the table the typical dishes of the area and of Piacenza cuisine. The decor mixes vintage furniture and photos (including the fireplace) and more recent elements, in a stratification of history and knowledge that introduce the subsequent discovery of authentic flavors. We tried the bortlein with cured meats and cheeses, the vegetable crostini and two first courses, accompanied by the house red, a sparkling Barbera. These dishes were exquisite and abundant, we skipped the second course and dessert and stopped to taste the amari, typical of the area. The punctual service and a chat at the end concluded a pleasant evening at the table. Too bad it's not around the corner for us!

20/05/2025: It was the first restaurant we tried when we came to Agazzano and we loved it right away! We were welcomed with great kindness the first time and also all the following ones. The atmosphere is classic, with a large hall and a large and very suggestive fireplace. In the summer you eat outside, overlooking the beautiful square in front. Excellent dishes with special mention to the risottos that we particularly love. Must try!

12/06/2025: Strategic stop after a motorbike trip with friends. The Bar Ristorante Giardino offers a rustic and informal atmosphere, perfect for a relaxed break. The dishes are those of the Piacenza tradition, tasty but with portions and quality that do not fully justify the price, which was a bit high compared to expectations. The service was kind and friendly, and I understand that Bobbio is a very popular stop for bikers, which perhaps affects the costs. Overall a good stop, but with room for improvement.

03/06/2025: During a motorcycle trip we stop in Bobbio to visit the village and the famous Ponte Gobbo. We stop for breakfast, friendly and fast staff despite being crowded in bringing us the booked. To try for lunch.

07/06/2025: Excellent food and pleasant atmosphere. Too bad about the owner's service when it came to the bill! We got to the cashier to pay by card and the POS didn't work. The owner got agitated, exclaiming phrases like "what the f*** why did they have to invent cards when there was cash that was so convenient". And after 3 long attempts he told us "be good, go and withdraw" (the nearest ATM can only be reached by car). After 15/20 minutes of waiting we managed to pay, and they didn't even give us 1€ discount. It's really a shame because the waiters were very kind!

27/04/2025: Carla and Stefano We have been going to eat pizza at Bella Capri for two years and we feel like saying first of all: thank you for meeting you, I have never eaten such good pizza in all of Piacenza, I highly recommend it. The guys, in addition to being good and polite, are very hospitable, extremely friendly and always ready to do their utmost to make sure you have pizza the way you like it. THANK YOU FOR EXISTING❤️

27/04/2025: Excellent pizza, fresh ingredients and light and tasty dough. Very fast home delivery and pizza always hot and fragrant. Kind and precise service. One of the best pizzerias I've ever tried , highly recommended!
