20/04/2026: A quick lunch, pisarei and panzerotti. Very good, tasty, and generous portions. Nice atmosphere and fast service. WELL DONE!

16/04/2026: The restaurant is elegant and welcoming, family-run, and located in the province of Piacenza. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the staff, especially the owners, were immediately friendly and helpful. We chose several traditional Piacenza dishes, starting with an appetizer of mixed local cured meats accompanied by fried gnocco: excellent quality products, truly delicious. The butter and sage tortelli were tasty, although the portions were a bit small. The pisarei e fasó, on the other hand, were excellent, with a thick and flavorful sauce, just as tradition dictates. The tagliolini in Parmesan fondue with black truffle were truly excellent: a well-executed dish, rich and intensely flavorful. The braised beef with polenta was equally satisfying, with very tender and well-seasoned meat. The heifer tartare with shavings of Parmesan cheese was also good. To conclude, we tried a warm apple pie with ice cream: generous portions and exceptional flavor, enough to make us want more. The only negative was the pizza, which we weren't convinced by: too thin and crispy for our taste. The price was in line with the quality of the ingredients and the dishes offered. Overall, a very positive experience: we'll definitely be back.

12/05/2026: We only stayed 2 nights... total for 2 people without breakfast €216.00... the room and bathroom were small, without a bidet or TV... no bed making/cleaning in the morning. Breakfast was only possible from 10/10:30 because since there are only 3 rooms they consider it too much effort. Conclusion: too expensive for the service offered and also for the small town/area in which it is located.

05/04/2026: Easter lunch with the whole family, delicious food and an excellent wine list. Perfect service, very welcoming veranda!! We had a great time, highly recommended.

02/10/2025: We dined in but had to pay the 2 coperto euros. But, the Italian wrap combo was real good with the sauce. There were two guys playing music and cooking. Fun pizza place.

11/02/2026: A nice restaurant that's very popular at lunchtime. I'm a vegetarian, and I found a few suitable dishes here. The grain and legume soup was good. Excellent service.

08/02/2026: La Lumaca is a rustic mountain restaurant with a wood-burning stove: the atmosphere is very warm. There's a beautiful panoramic view, with many birds passing by to retrieve the food the owners leave on the fence (sparrows, tits, etc.). The staff is very kind and friendly, as are the patrons. The charcuterie and cheese platter is very good; the polenta and cheese and the lasagna were delicious! We ended the lunch with cakes (which were delicious!) and a good coffee! The place is small, so reservations are recommended! They have books for children and board games! I recommend!

13/03/2026: This restaurant was recommended to us by the owner of the agriturismo that we are staying at and it didn’t disappoint us at all. The food, service and everything about this place was wonderful. Can highly recommend Locanda Nobili. If ever in the area, please stop by and enjoy the food. Unfortunately I forgot to take a photo of the great tasting tiramisu that we had. To eager to eat it. Oh, and there is a small little four legged creature that makes an occasional appearance when not being shy. Cutest little dog.

03/05/2026: An old-fashioned tavern in the center of Travo, with a warm welcome, somewhat long wait times, and good food, but room for improvement.

03/05/2026: Just a few minutes from the Diga Del Molato, you'll find this very typical little restaurant/pizzeria where you can try the famous "batari," sandwiches made with pizza dough, which were really good! You can choose from different types, including vegetarian options. The local cured meats are truly a must-try, the best! The fruit tart was the perfect ending! 😋

04/04/2026: I went there on a Saturday for lunch with friends. It was my first time eating the famous Batarò. I took the advice of the very kind waitress and tried the Pancetta and Gorgonzola version: Fantastic!!! Since then, whenever I pass through the area, rather than stopping at the local restaurants, I always happily return to try the various Batarò varieties. Reservations are recommended. Highly recommended!!!

02/12/2025: Swiss prices for a pizza that I didn't find better than others, and where you also don't feel hungry again after 1 hour... definitely overrated

16/11/2025: The pizza dough is different from the usual, but very good and light; the "Uncle Husband" with cream is also worth a try. Definitely worth a try.
