09/09/2025: We discovered this place by chance and it was a wonderful surprise. Excellent food, very friendly staff, informal and intimate atmosphere. We'll definitely be back.

14/06/2025: At a tasting there was a delay in starting of at least 2 hours. This is not tolerable. Terrible management of the situation.

06/10/2025: On Sunday, October 4th, my wife and I decided to take a trip to the hills near Pianello, specifically to Caminata, to try the legendary local Bataro'. Made with flour and cornmeal, it's elongated and comes with various fillings. My favorite is pancetta from Piacenza and gorgonzola, excellent with red onion, but many are excellent with coppa, prosciutto, and various cheeses. The staff is friendly and smiling, like Maura, the waitress, who puts you at ease. The wait times are like any other restaurant, depending on how busy it is. In addition to the Bataro', they also make excellent pizzas. I highly recommend it. In addition to a tour of the beautiful Val Tidone valley, among the vineyard-filled hills, you can enjoy an excellent lunch or dinner accompanied by a glass of good wine. P.S. I recommend booking the Bataro' at least two days in advance to avoid the risk of not being able to enjoy it when you order. All the best from Mario and Simona.

26/09/2025: I'll start by saying I'm not the type to review businesses, but in this case I'm happy to give it 5 stars ONLY for the all-rounder named Maura! Nothing to say about the bataró and the pizzas, but the kitchen is a bit lacking! The place is nice and welcoming! Nice place, poorly managed, actually run by just one girl (Maura) who works her ass off!!! While someone else, who should be the boss, is sitting comfortably smoking cigarettes and someone else is behind the counter drinking white wine!!! I recommend it for anyone who wants to eat excellent sandwiches or a good pizza in addition to the burgers!!! But the real kitchen is still missing!!!

04/10/2025: Overall, the flavor was good but not worth the price. The "piacentina" (€18) was basically a baby pizza with a stuffed crust, even a bit oily, while the prosciutto and burrata pizza (€16) was good but the dough was on the dry side. The pomegranate sauce on the second pizza was barely noticeable.

05/10/2025: Spectacular seafood dinner. The appetizer was incredibly fresh, followed by a seafood risotto with plenty of clams and shrimp. Completely satisfied. Renato's service was impeccable. The atmosphere was intimate and pleasant. It's truly perfect for romantic dinners.

07/09/2025: We stopped after seeing a royal who spoke highly of it. We didn't book for two people. As soon as we entered, the waiter, already very agitated, rudely told us there was no room. Then he almost immediately changed his mind and found us a table. We sat down, the first thing I noticed were dirty glasses and smelly napkins. The place itself is old and quaint, but the smell of the place was that old one that lingers in your nose. Despite that, we ate quite well. I didn't like the coffee.

05/10/2025: The first time I discovered this place I loved it where there is so much greenery the thing I liked most was that you could buy their products grown by them I returned more than once despite some flaws such as the menu without prices the total bill not detailed despite having reported it to the relevant people today I returned for lunch and to buy products I was very disappointed insufficient staff and not the fault of the waiters where they were rushed and could not interact even for a minute with the customers however there would be so much more to comment just a small advice for the owner the customer should be treated carefully and pampered and I add the taxes We all pay them perhaps...... And with this I'm done I will not return again.

05/10/2025: A cute little place, very clean and well-kept, even on the outside. In addition to the restaurant, there's a stall outside with garden produce, both fresh and prepared. Genuine and authentic Piacenza food. Excellent quality cured meats, and very light and non-greasy chisolini. The giardiniera is made with vegetables of varying crunchiness, very good. Delicate tortelli, and the anolino is also good, although it's made with meat and isn't typical of the area. Lots of desserts on the menu. Excellent value overall for what you get. There are, however, some downsides: ❌Too many tables in the main dining room. I find three lines excessive unless you guarantee fast service and adequate table coverage. The service is slow and confusing; there's often no one in the dining room to ask, and the girls rush by without a chance to stop them. A bit of a wait between dishes. There's no permanent receptionist outside; people wanting to sit can sometimes arrive halfway up the restaurant, and given the narrow aisle, they're practically on your shoulders. The food is excellent, but the portions are very small. At least the appetizers aren't abundant, while the amount of chisolini is just right. There are no prices on the menu, and they're required by law! (Still, it's not that expensive.) Too many desserts, 10 different desserts. We tried the tiramisu; it was a little watery. The cakes aren't bad. The side dishes are good, but I'd specify that the radicchio is the raw leaf variety. We spent about €130 for four of us, including a bottle of wine, two bottles of water, and tried everything from appetizers to desserts, with a first or second course each. Overall, I recommend it. Make sure to book and come either right when it opens, when there are fewer tables, or later, when most of the service has finished.

22/07/2025: The store is well-decorated and the products are of excellent quality, no complaints there. However, the overall experience is completely ruined by the behavior of one of the sales assistants, the older one. She's surly, rude, and always annoyed with customers. I find this attitude unacceptable in an environment that should be welcoming and professional. As long as this person continues to work there with this attitude, I personally won't return.

30/09/2025: I stayed for one night with my family. Each room is a little gem where you can relax: welcoming, spacious, and quiet. Outside, there's a large garden with a swimming pool. Ample parking. I only have two complaints: the three children stayed in one room and us parents in another on the upper floor. Also, the breakfast area wasn't adequate for the number of guests (perhaps because the restaurant was already closed), and the new arrivals had limited choices at the buffet. But this didn't detract from the pleasure of staying at Villa Costanza. I recommend it, and if we have the opportunity, we'll return.
