Quiet place, delicious food, Maria is number one

Two of us arrived without a reservation, and despite warning there would be a bit of a wait, they immediately set a table for us. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was friendly. We had the appetizer of cured meats and torta fritta/bortellina, plus two good first courses. Draft wine and water were also included. If I had to find a flaw, perhaps I would have considered spending a little less. €55 seemed a bit high for a shared appetizer and two first courses. It's the only flaw among so many positive things, so the experience was OK, THANK YOU. P.S. I saw the owner responded kindly, but the order he gave was slightly different: The wine was a quart because I specifically asked for a glass of wine, and I was told a quart was the same... The coffee was only one because my wife can't drink it... If I ask for a glass of red, I don't expect an €8 bottle. Anyway, I repeat, my comment was just a clarification. When there are a lot of people to serve, mistakes can happen. 😅 And anyway, I didn't look at the prices, so I can't complain... The food here is good, and it was lovely.

Agriturismo/trattoria, varied menu focused on Piacenza dishes, but enriched with imagination. A large space with massive wooden beams overlooking the farmland. There's also an internal terrace with sofas for those who want to take a break from the social gatherings. Not to be confused with the restaurant 50 meters away, which tripped up two of my friends by calling itself Tonoli... but it's not.

This trattoria, just outside Caorso in Roncarolo, isn't hard to find. A beautiful, large, rustic-style dining room. The menu is good, with starters, main courses, cured meats, bourtleina, and wine. Family-run, a mother and daughter team, are very kind and attentive.
